Hello! I'm Juan form India and I just turned 16 this year. I am a reading and journaling addict and LOVE using my hands to get creative. I love greek mythology, poetry and classic literature and music and have way too many hobbies to count, however I'll have to take a break this year to focus on my academics. So I'm looking for a hobby to give me the creativity that I crave while also remaining socially active. I'm looking for a penpal around my age who lives in india and writes english.

Excellent information! This is so accurate and good to use if you are new to pen paling or if you been doing it for a long time. Sometimes we need a refresher. I’m always looking for new pen pals… but it’s hard to find the right person. People will say no (rejection is hard but it’s also rewarding because it builds confidence) and now I have a bunch of new pen pals even though I got ghosted a couple of times. Since I post videos of my letters for a memory bank. People tell I am a really person behind the screen. I love following other people too to get inspiration and more creative. Thank you rockie! I would if you made a video about diff😢postage stamps and how to weigh a letter.

I agree that its a bit hard to find the right person hence I really suggest to get to know a person a little bit first before start pen paling. Even after I did that, i still got ghosted several times so its just hard but then life happens as well so we dont know what really happened to them. Same like you, I didnt give up and tried to find more pen pals. Thank you for your suggestion! What do you mean about different postage stamps if you dont mind to tell me? :) Maybe I can include it in my next pen pal tips video. :)
@@Rookiejournal_ Hi Rookie! Since you have pen pals all over, can you do a deep dive on what postage stamp you'll need before starting pen paling? How to place it? How to calculate the correct weight! The right placement for stamps on certain pen pals letters or how many to place on one letter because letter is going far. I'm surprise you don't collect your pen pals stamps for a journal page! I know you will come up with something creative like that. Or ask you pen pals to send fabric scraps to sew a cover or something for new journal

Im not sure if that'd be helpful enough for people outside Indonesia. I actually collect stamps from my pen pals in my journal. But then the Internet came and I wrote emails or I lost connection to some penpals. Now I am 47 years old and back again. Writing letters was just that...writing letters. You bought pretty paper, but it was not nessecary. Just write, put it in an envelope and send it. There was not much decorating or sending any goodies. And of course no fb or something like that. I now love to craft something for my penpals, decorate everything and also do swaps and happy mail.

Dl pernh cm 2kali tmn yg dr Jepang, sampe dg selamat. Tapi dy pakai mail yg berbayar dn bs d tracking.. Huhuu, kn g la mgkin rasanya mau mnta tmn penpal untuk bales surat kita pk tracking & paid mail. 😢 anyway,, skrg sy nyoba lagi, *pantang nyerah* 😁 smoga kali ini surat2 mereka bs sampai ke saya.. doakan yaa😊 and last, thanks for this video ya..sehat selalu mba..

Mungkin kalau alamat yang lebih official gitu bisa sampai. Aku punya pen pal yang tinggal di Kalimantan Barat di Bengkayang dan dia pakai alamat kantor dia dan berhasil sampai dengan selamat surat dari luar negri. Opsi lainnya mungkin kalau ada keluarga di kota besar yang ada PO BOX, bisa buka PO BOX disitu dan minta tolong keluarga untuk paket-in ke Riau, agak rempong tapi mungkin worth to try! Jangan patah semangat yah! Semoga berhasil! Sehat selalu juga 🥰
