I do penpalling as well, but instead of focussing on colours as the theme, I do fictional themes such as magic, fantasy, spying, agents, cafe, restaurant, cat, dog, wilderness, nature, adventure, open waters, sailing, camping, woods, stars, astronomy, space, tech, pilots, flying, isolation, island, or royalty and crown themes. They end up looking a bit too extravagant, but all my pen pals love it and they say it's like opening a package that will bring you into a different place and time. I love making themes like this, and if anyone can give it a try, I think it will be worth the shot because a lot of my pen pals love it.

It's fun and easy to find, you just have to make sure you have the right stationary (lol im broke ;-;) but if you find a penpal, try those themes because they are pretty fun to do and it can turn out really well if you take the time to do it!
