I know you're trying to compliment her but it is an acquired skill and change of perspective :) If you see it as a failure you wont know how to fix it other than scrapping and restarting, if you see it as a problem to solve suddenly you start getting ideas on how to turn it into something else. Perspective is key.

what i really love about the way you choose to style and design your journal is that you embrace your mistakes and use them to add to the design or aesthetic of whatever you're making. this is something i struggle with because i'm a perfectionist, but watching you use your mistakes to create something beautiful sort of makes the perfectionist in me calm down and try to accept that i can make mistakes
