LOL, All my loops are pointy. But I think it makes then look more like leaves.

What is the distance between your horizontal ruler lines, please? You say it is a bit smaller than the width of the ruler.

Thanks for sharing! I am new to quilting and enjoy very much the way you walk us through. May I ask what type of thread you use for quilting? I have Gütermann polyester thread but it doesn't say what weight it is.

how do you hold the sandwich together? you have no needle or what ever?
