Yayyy! There we go. The video was publishes at midnight instead of 10am.. Whoops! I'm so sorry if you've been searching for the patterns. They are online right now. Happy quilting!!
Irene, I have to tell you. I only just realized that these blocks would require foundation paper piecing, and I was really worried. I've never done it before, and I really struggle sometimes with instructions and tutorials - maybe because I have severe inattentive ADHD and poor spatial skills. But your directions are so beautifully clear- I honestly don't think I've ever had someone explain and demonstrate something so well, in a way that I can understand. Thank you so much for taking the time to make your tutorial this way. I feel confident I can do this!
Hej from Sweden Irene, so exiting to start ,🤗 my first quilt and quilting projekt ever , i sew garments , but i just love new challenges , . You are such a good teacher and your smile allways makes us happy , take care
Hi Irene, I'm excited to be here with another QAL. That tree does have alot of tiny pieces, it will be a challenge but it will be done with your instructions. Now to download the pattern.
Please explain how to locate the pattern so that I can print it out. The link in the drop down list has a link for English, but the page that opens does not list the Flynn pattern
Irene talked about the pattern/instruction being released at 10am Dutch time. So, I guess the video was a little early and the information on the Bernina blog will be released later this morning
I have checked the Bernina blog for the information on how much background fabric to set aside and I do not see it. The only mention I see of background fabric is the requirements for Flynn. Can you help Please ????
@S A.Bottomley Hi So I read 40 inches in the pattern, but I had never seen that notation before it took me a while to figure out it was 40 inches of width of fabric. I kept asking myself 40 inches x 2.5 inches? One inches? I kept trying to figure out how wide the sashing was.
Thank you for the instructions...I'm looking forward to this, have only paper pieced once about a year ago in a class, so a bit nervous...I am assuming we only stitch the length of each piece, not the whole fabric we cut, correct?
Hi super exciting- can’t wait to start! In the video you mentioned cutting the background strips first. I have not been able to locate them in the pattern on the blog. Can you point me in the right direction please?
First tree complete. Thank you for such excellent instruction. I am not sure how to hash tag onto #onetwotreeQAL with photos. Can you give some pointers?

@@_quiltliebe_3085 So sorry, the video went up too early. The patterns are online now!
Would this quilt be too difficult for a quilting beginner? I've only made a few easy mini-quilts but love thiis one...
I'm looking forward to learning FPP. Is there a coloring page to plan this quilt from our own fabric?
Happy day ! Hello from America 👋🏻
FYI
If your pattern is printing at 7/8 inch rather than the full one inch, print at 113% and it should be correct.
I have checked the Bernina blog for the information on how much background fabric to set aside and I do not see it. The only mention I see of background fabric is the requirements for Flynn. Can you help Please ????
You need to set aside 40 inches of background fabric
Is there any alternative of freezer paper. In my country I did not find them .please guide me.
Hi. I can't find the information about how much background to set aside in strips for the piecing later. Can you point me in the right direction?
It is 40 inches

It is written just after the Flynn requirements. It says 40 inches.
Fun stuff! 🌳
English version of pattern not appearing on through link. 🤗

I need the same info. I did not post my colors although pulled in early December. I do not know how to post to that site either.
I click on the link and do not find the pattern. I am assuming it is not posted yet or am I missing something?
I am also looking for the pattern but cannot find it.
@@maggielloyd3428 last time it took a day before it is posted so I am going to just wait and see.

@@Sugaridoo bedankt, ik heb me gevonden, het volgende dag
I can’t find the pattern. The link doesn’t take me to it.

Goedemorgen Irene,
I'm a little bit lost, how does this work? Also I'm not computer savvy. Lol
Where are the links to the pattern?
So sorry, the video went up too early. The patterns are online now!
Hmm, I found out the hard way that you don't want to use steam when trying to iron to freezer paper. My first tree is progressing slowly.
Will these videos always be "unlisted"? I find it hard to find them if I want to watch them back later....
Hi Cecilia, they are listed in a plalist that is now on the front page of my channel. The video went up before it was supposed to.. whoops!
Are you ok. How far are you from the war zone. Been thinking of you and your family a lot. Praying for your safety.
