I would love to use a fat quarter bundle I have from Sassafras Lane but not sure how much I will need of each fabric. Will that be enough for the trees? Otherwise, I would need to order a kit - but the 18th is tomorrow! What do you think?

Is the FB group going to have projects/fabrics only go to folders and the moderators be the only ones on the feed "to not muddle it"? It's not worth my money, in my opinion, and I left the fb page after that became an issue. I want to see what others are doing not the moderators posts. I would like to see the lives but that's not necessary..... This is lovely and I can't wait to see it move through the process.

I've noticed a beeping in the background of your videos in the new studio.. it's distracting to those with auditory sensitivity..maybe you can consider shutting off whatever it is while you are filming
So this is not a free quilt along? I notice you have to pay 10 euro to join the facebook group, is that even legal? It certainly goes against facebook terms and conditions.

Yes it's legal. Facebook has a lot of ways for entrepreneurs to make money. It's a lot of work doing a QAL. She's giving up a lot of family time and maybe she wants to pay the moderators who put in a lot of their time to keep all of us on track.

I've never done a quilt along before and I am very much a beginner. I love the sound of this though.
Would love to join in but really am not a fan of foundation paper piecing. Is there an option for applique or piecing that could be done?

She said it's a free QAL, you just pay for the Facebook group if you want to. Not required :)
