Not a thought of upgrading since I got it shortly after release. Way more than I’ll need, ever. Been a beast for weddings, and now with that new battery it’s game over for me lol
New battery? Please give me the scoop lol I haven’t invested in a V-mount battery so I’ve just been swapping batteries as it gets close to dying. Is there a new type of battery coming out for it?
@ so it is the new LP-E6P battery that ships with the R5ii.. gives the R5 C in particular more battery life because of the way the battery handles voltage, it’s pretty amazing. Went from 33 mins in 4K60, to 55 with the new battery. Over 85 minutes of run time in 4K24. Pretty great!
@@moorememoriesvideo7070 Does the battery life change when you increase the LCD Luminance? I only get like 30 minutes when I turn off power saving mode just to increase the brightness.
Get the new LPE6P batteries! They keep a higher constant amperage until empty so it allows the full battery to be used instead of the NH batteries. That’s why the NH still work in photo after it dies in video mode.
Canon R5c is Totally Amazing... your videos are great... AND THE COLOR SCIENCE IS INSANE... I got mine a few years ago also.. thou mostly Photo... i am preparing to go into Video/Filming... keep up the good work.. bro
I'm a R5c owner also. I got mind about the same time as you.. I purchased it as a video camera first, but after purchasing it I take 70% of photos and does very little video as planned. I love it and still think it was the right decision. Like your content, enjoy your trip.
I’ve owned the R5C and RF 24-70 since mid 2023. I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface for the video side yet. Do you have any suggestions for a rig setup man? I’m in film school now so I really want to tap into the full potential of the video side of the camera
@@DJPickleB That’s dope! Yeah I actually made a video a while back on my rig setup. Its pretty much stayed the same. I’ll link it here: ruclips.net/video/4ow76uQL-ik/видео.html
Honestly, I haven’t played with Sony too much recently. I’ve used the A7S3 a couple times, but the last one I owned was the A73. So my experience really has just been Canon as of late. But I’ve seen dope footage from Sony also so I’m sure I’d be able to do fine with it too
Worldwide 🔥🔥🔥🔥🎯🎯🎯
I own one and I love it… I will not sell it anytime soon.

@@smartyboii4729 yeah, nothing to do with power save mode, I’m talking about normal mode. Extra life!

How do you find the autofocus difference between release date and more recent firmware updates? Did you notice much of an improvement?
You still liking the canon over Sony for video ?
