Cool! Yeah that kickdown has to be right or the trans won't last long good you got it where it has to be I got a 3 piece kickdown to do on my 72 dart with a 904 all of it came out of a 74 dart sport should be fun when I get too it.
@@NathansMoparGarage I remember the early emissions controls and despised them. I got a separate question for you. I am the caretaker of my dad's 66 Coronet and I'm rebuilding the front brakes. The wheel cylinders have 2 bolts and one is blocked by the spindle such that I can't get a 1/2 inch box wrench onto it. An open end wrench is no better. I'm to the point where I'm considering loosening the 4 big bolts that hold the backing plate to the lower control arm and spindle assembly. They haven't been touched since the car was built. Any ideas before I commit to loosening then? I was going to try and grind away enough material from my box wrench to make it fit but I still don't know if there will still be enough room.
I am not sure on those. I have replaced the front cylinders on my 300 but it has 11" brakes. The wagon had 10" drums but I converted it to power disc because it didn't want to stop. If it makes it easier I would just loosen those bolts on the spindle instead fighting it.
The 904 and 727 a long with the a518 ,a500are easy to rebuild but you have to make sure the kick down is adjusted properly but what I want to know is how did that flex plate work for you does it have any vibration issues
Listen to that GRROWLLLL😊
Keep on keepin' it MOPAR❤🎉
It almost ready to daily drive
That's awesome Nathan. hey it's a win when you figure out how to fix it yourself.
Gotta have the factory service manual to make sure I have it right.
Nice work Nathan🤙
Thanks glad I got it to shift after all that.
That is sweet, well done, brother. Now you get to enjoy the car.
Getting closer still have a few more things to fix

I have a collection of different pieces I should be able to make something work better than what is there now.
Man, when that thing fired it sounded like a rod knock. Glad to know it's an exhaust leak.
It's a check valve that is supposed to take in air for the cat. It's making a lot of noise I have to pull it off and cap it.

@@NathansMoparGarage I figured it out. I ground down a half inch box wrench until it fit. Problem solved.
Nice, custom tools save the day.
The kick down on those can be real touchy, glad you got it working.
I need to change it to a 3 piece linkage. It's still not quite right.
Awesome great job 👍😎👍
Thanks almost ready for daily driver service
I'm glad you figured it out Nathan. Nice job 💀👍
Getting closer still not quite right.

Thanks, Boom baby 😎
oh awesome, you got it!
Almost it's fairly close.

Actuator Valve issue? Vacuum issue?
Previous owner did something to the linkage.

The flex plate is working great. The only thing I didn't like was I had to get a mini starter for it .
