By 2030 the intention is to only have cars available for the wealthy elite and even then for those cars to be remotely controlled by A.I. Top down centralised control is what this is all about and ULEZ is just the thin end of the wedge.

If you look at Khan's original documentation for the ULEZ expansion and consultation there was no mention of 'air pollution'. The reason given by Khan was 'To generate additional revenue for Transport for London.' So when the consultation didn't agree with that, and there is a document showing this, he changed to the 'pollution scam !
We've always known that Sadiq Khan's ULEZ expansion isn't about air quality, it's just another form of taxation hitting the cash cows, the motorist, it stands to reason that maybe more deaths are in the poorest areas, let's face it, people in the less affluent areas aren't millionaires like the majority of politicians, they can't afford electric vehicles or less emitting vehicles, someone like khan can afford to buy whatever vehicle he wants and even get it that day, working class people, people that new labour (should be new Tories), are claiming to represent, it's another way of getting more cash, I can see why the general public want him out, he's just another lowlife politician, I no longer vote because I have no confidence in any of the politicians, the only thing I will say is that they're open enough to admit that they don't care about the public, they're in it for what they can get out of it, they're happy to admit that they are screwing the working class to make as much as they can for themselves, they're legalised criminals

He should clean up the air on the London Underground first which fails pollution levels every year with toxic particles flowing through the tunnels for passengers to breath in.
@@ditch3827 Nope, not all of it, the dust comprised by mass approximately 67% iron oxide, 1-2% quartz, and traces of other metals, all volatile matter. studies suggest they could be harmful to passengers. Exposure to nanoparticles has been linked to serious health risks such as lung and heart disease, and brain damage. ‘The abundance of ultrafine particles identified could have particularly adverse health impacts as their smaller size makes it possible to pass from lungs to the bloodstream, research has found. The tiny iron particles are created when trains’ wheels create friction with brakes and the rails. Most of the particles found are oxidised, meaning they could have been in the tunnels for a while before they were blown up in the air. The nano particle’s are so small which means they don’t show up on normal pollution-monitoring systems. Might want to wear a respirator when you next use the underground.
Rail & brake friction put a lot of metal particles into the air which can’t escape. You can see 100+ years of caked on black crud in older tunnels - brakes used to use asbestos so there’s probably that still down there. They were making a special tunnel cleaning train but the project was canned.

It was obvious when it was first announced that the money it raises couldn't possibly support the cost of maintenance and and management let alone installation. It is to introduce road charging for all cars. Probably gradually over 2 or 3 years. First it will be the diesels before a certain age, then all diesels, then older petrol cars, then all petrol cars, followed by all cars including electric. By 4 years in there will be road pricing across greater London....when enough cameras get introduced, then there will eventually be zoned charging as you enter and leave zones within greater London.

Imperial College modelling... now where have we heard that before? 🤔
Nice piece mike and gareth
Excellent interview! 👍🍻
Sir i wish i had a mp that thought for people like you well done
It's disgusting how Mr khan is doing this
It's disgusting that you think saving the lives of our children is disgusting
@@ditch3827 this isn't about saving anyone. It's about money. Wake up ffs.
And that the government don't remove or overrule him...
@@headbangerbald1278 But it is about saving the 30,000 people that are killed by car pollution every year and the countless children who will never develop to their full potential.
@@garyc7464 Why should they when he is just implementing government policy?
It's all about his use of the money to expand the 'religion of peace'.
Oh! Just realised that this was a question not a statement. Don't want the RoP to get the wrong idea.
Thank you!
Shame we Londoners weren’t more like the French and have a good demonstration
ULEZ is solely reliant on cameras. Need I say more !
Oh the French were awful burning buildings all because of retirement age going up by. 2 years but we should protest against the mayor's plan butvdont burn anything
We are better than that
What a sensible discussion
could he tell us something we DO NOT already know also could he tell us why plymouth chopped all the trees down which help purify the air and look after nature
It's all about another tax for him to squander.
There are two reasons for ULEZ. Firstly, money and secondly, control
If it was about air quality, why not just ban cars that do not comply? All Karnt is doing now is letting people pollute as long as they pay to pollute! If I were a sceptic, I would think that it is about the money🙃
What about planes, buses and diesel trains??? How much pollution are they chucking out???
🤔If you see a diesel train starting from cold the air is black and they take a long time to warm up, Possibly more pollution is caused buy vehicle tyre dust especially from cheap imported brands than from modern vehicle exhaust emissions.
Gareth Bacon; how come no conservative mp's were prepared to listen to Andrew Bridger the other day?
I enjoyed lockdown in Cornwall, we had beautiful weather & the roads where even more dead than the winter months, one of my favourite things was walking around shops without a mask , if looks could kill 😂 maybe I should say eyes because that was the only thing visible on the face 😅
Some common sense at last.
Please Take the borough out off London and put us back into Kent and stop Khan and TFL madness and his tax
Most people know it's about money for failing councils. These dew drops without cars think it's a good idea because they don't have to pay it. Or that's what they think. Us delivery drivers pass the cost on to our customers who pass it on to those dew drops on food goods etc so they do pay it indirectly. We refuse London jobs because it's not worth the hassle. Anyway good luck saving the planet.
Great keep up with the truth if all MP are like him we all will can cause to take down the mayor.
My parents go into the ulez. 25metres when they visit and park, then leave 2 days later and Pay £25. 50 metres into the zone in total. Its just income for him. Zero difference
Follow the money it's all about the £'s
Definitely Khan does. He needs to go and take ULEZ with him. The figure of 4,0000 dying directly as a result of people driving their cars is utter rubbish. People need to get about without being charged for using their cars. The poor people are going to be the most affected by this, those who really can't afford it. Khan needs to go, as he's trying to get money from the poorest to cover up his mistakes.
Road pricing next 😡
This is about turning Buckingham place into a mosque 🕌
No need to bring that up. I'm of the same faith as him but don't agree with this ULEZ nonsense.
Pay the tax and feel free to pollute.
We need a referendum now
Imperial College again-Nuff Said?
S-k says from the last ulec extension I got 100 million extra revenue in one year. From August 29th ££££££££££the cameras will be there forever and don't forget Pay to drive next ha ha😁
Should be a medal for vandalising tax cameras and future 15 minute dystopian control.
How has he got the power to put these cameras up his night Mayor of London not mayor of Essex kent and all other surrounding areas
Another phoney consultation ended last week for ‘smart road user charging’ (pay per mile). This has to be nipped in the bud now.
Great talk from this MP . Yes we all know it’s about raising revenue but more sinister is restriction of freedom of movement in peoples lives ..
ULEZ. Wherever you are in the country. JUST DON'T PAY. JUST DON'T PAY. JUST DON'T PAY. If everyone just ignores the fee then ULEZ will collapse within days. We have to treat this money Grabbing issue as we did with the poll tax. JUST DON'T PAY🧐🧐🧐🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔🤭🤭🤭🤕🤕🤕🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
That's what Birmingham are doing. What's the matter with Londoners?
@Matt THX Yep, This is a big problem nowadays. The frightened ones need some gentle persuasion. If the masses start maybe some stragglers may follow.
Well some do!
You meant most of them do!
I wish presenters and MPs would get it right.
Khan OUT!
He could say the same thing about his governments so called green policies.
This guy is brilliant
We know how accurate modelling has been on deaths!
Khan wants "ultra low emission zones" but then restricts the speed limit to 20mph which causes 50% more vehicle emissions.
Do you mean to say DPF's and catalytic convertors don't work?
I heard that Khan was the leader/director or whatever of Ulez? How do we find out if this is true?
Director of C40 cities....Clinton foundation are also involved amongst many others
He is the current chairman of C40 Cities, a group of city mayors all chasing the climate change mirage.
@@mal6232 and I found from that that he is part of a Global COVENant of Mayors who have long term visions. VISIONS? They put us through all this based on dodgy statistics, worst case scenarios and visions. The whole thing is an enormous scam for profit and control. im so glad people are waking up, the World over.
The both main parties have totally shafted this once great country, they need to go,VOTE REFORM
This has to stop!
I would like to see the figures for people who died in the industrial age of air pollution
I worked in a bus depot for 42years some days I couldn't see the buses for the exhaust smoke no health problems
I really can’t understand how Kahn’s policies and justifications for them are allowed to go so unchallenged! It’s great to see Gareth Bacon highlighting the discrepancies, but Kahn will continue to push ahead with his money-raising projects, seemingly uncontested! Shocking!
We need khan to go and his thieving schemes. This MP sounds a decent guy. I think if we all stick together and kick this scheme out and khan to go with it, it will disappear. Don't pay wont pay! Can't Pay!
I blame the wind - blowing in air from dirty areas.
It's NOTHING to do with " clean air" and EVERYTHING to do with the Mayor playing with what he's come to see has his own personal fieldom. Still ,they vote him in?, Get use to it,it's just a fortaste of what he,ll do when he's finished his third term, and he's realected as MP and becomes Labour Leader.😱😱 And PM😱😱😡🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I will be covering my number plates. I will not pay.
