Bowers & Wilkins Formation Duo - Proper Wireless Speakers that we Actually Like!

- In this episode, the guys cast their golden ears upon B&W's Formation Duo wireless loudspeaker system.
Naturally, Mike - who's into these sort of new-fangled gadgety things - loves it, while seventies throwback David is forced to grudgingly admit it's the best wireless speaker he's heard to date. It's almost as good as a decent wired pair of standmounters, he opines.
Each episode of Mike and Dave's Hi-Fi Riff features their unedited, unexpurgated views about all manner of weird and/or wonderful hi-fi designs.
Mike has a huge wealth of knowledge from his hi-fi retail years, and David’s written about hi-fi for thirty years. Now Editor-in-Chief of StereoNET, he's picked up a few tips along the way.
So relax and enjoy some one-take hi-fi riffing - and do leave your comments below.

999 but delivered broken :’) it’s been 4 months I’m waiting for them to be replaced now
Love the video’s but could you increase the volume when you are making the video please?
Nitwits instead of Netflix. I approve.
Have you listened to the KEF LS60's floorstander's at £5,999
Have you encountered a situation where the FORMATION DUO has a slight HISS?
Exceptional speakers. I’m selling a white pair on Audiogon for half price if anyone is looking.
Don't tell David!
Great review thanks guys. Had a poor test between the AE1 actives and the LS50 actives and to be honest not going to get my wallet out anytime soon. Off axis was poor on both of those sounds the same on the expensive B&W's. Love it or have it my 20 year old 901's sounded better than either. The search continues..
We're still not quite there yet, as wireless active speakers cannot match passive wired. Yet these B&Ws are really good, and that's coming from a fussy bugger like me.
