Очень редкая модель мужских наручных часов 40-х годов прошлого века.
Компания IWC Schaffhausen (International Watch Co).
Корпус часов выполнен из розового золота 14 карат (585 пробы).
Высококачественный механизм на 16 камнях, калибр 61.
Диаметр часов без выступающих частей - 35 мм; общая длина тела с ушами 42,5 мм; размер для ремня 18 мм.
Ориентировочный год выпуска часов - 1940.
Краткая историческая справка: Калибр 61 - первый калибр с центральной секундной стрелкой, выпускавшийся с 1938 по 1942 год. Было выпущено около 8000 штук механизмов.
A very rare model of men's wristwatch from the 40s of the last century.
Company IWC Schaffhausen (International Watch Co).
The watch case is 14K rose gold (585).
High-quality mechanism with 16 jewels, caliber 61.
The diameter of the watch without protruding parts is 35 mm; total body length with ears 42.5 mm; size for belt 18 mm.
The approximate year of manufacture of the watch is 1940.
Brief historical background: Caliber 61 was the first caliber with a central seconds hand, produced from 1938 to 1942. About 8,000 pieces of mechanisms were produced.

Toda una joya, en mi ciudad no encuentro de esas marcas de relojes, pero si tengo algunos elgin de bolsillo de chapa de oro de los años 20s y 50s, y un Steelco de 17 jewels de cuerda de oro de los años 60s que está casi como nuevo, saludos desde Tampico Tamaulipas México

Not only expensive, but also very rare. Having and wearing such a watch for me, for example, is a state of mind, an awareness of the possession of rarity. Cool feeling. And for kitsch there are other watches, for example, mariage. This is a mixture of an antique pocket watch mechanism and a modern wrist case. As a rule, such watches are large in size and are clearly visible on the hand even from afar. 🙂
