Spinel is a very underrated stone with its own unique beauty. Seeing the Spinel in its Marble matrix was a special treat. Thank you for sharing.
Yeah it is
Natures secret: If you leave Spinel in a garden for 6000 years, Spinel will try to poison the earth.
The reason I love gemstones and crystals because it's the impurities the imperfections is what makes them beautiful challenge for everyone look at people like you would a gemstone see there impurities not as inspections but what makes me beautiful
Ty for this comment, It adds a lot to my life perspective through something I really see everyday.
So you game me a lesson that I will be reminded of everyday.
Thank you.
Love & Peace
Absolutely, I can’t agree with you more on that one. Inclusions give a stone personality. Some stones in my collection can be identified by their inclusions alone.
Same here. Impurities and imperfections definitely add character to those pretties
One of my favourite unsung heroes, love them from their story of formation to their use. Great introduction to this wonderful and durable gemstone 💎
But spinel was more like a villain...
💕 absolutely good say
I've got a spinel collection. Most of them are red but I also have a fair amount of blue and bluish grey. 22 red spinels and 17 blue. I also have pink, purple and orange ones. What still evades me are the green and yellow ones though.
So the other day I had the realization of why we call a rhombus a diamond. An octahedral crystal looks like a rhombus and diamonds form octahedral crystals, so uncut diamonds looks like rhombuses.
Rebecca is so knowledgable & so thorough, patient and clear in explanations. J'adore you Rebecca Thank you!!!
Rebecca sugar?
grey 100% so classy, so clean
Spinel has always been an underrated🥺 stone from the others especially rudys until now.💁♀️😏 This gemstone is so beautiful and to know how it was created is amazing.😍❤🌟 There's so many colors🌈💎 of it, I never knew there was black spinel before.🖤 It's hard to choose, I like all of them.🥰 I hope you do another video about more underrated gemstones. Thanks for sharing to us and see you later.👩🏫💎
Absolutely

friends
That's right I heard the story over and over again
Fantastic video, awesome presentation and knowledge and history, beautiful stones, awesome awesome thank you
I actually get to know spinel through your Chanel and I love it ❤
Spinels of comparable color saturation and clarity are actually rarer than sapphires and rubies; I’ve seen some blue spinels (electric neon cobalt blue) go for around $20,000/ct for a clean, 2+ carat stone. I’ve yet to see a sapphire look like that color; almost like huauyne or afghanite but backlit.
The classic pink Spinel crystals are so gorgeous but I would have to say in cut form, that dark and deep navy blue has to be my favorite!
Absolutely
My class ring has a baby blue spinel. It’s quite nice actually. Very nice cut too. No windows or anything
Very nice gemstones. I have 2.2 cts. Top Red Spinel & 5.06 cts. Cobalt Blue Spinel.
These 2 couler u have most. Finest couler
I definitely love spinel. I agree with you that it's certainly underapreciated
It's well appreciated, considering market value and demand!
The underrated is garnet, it has low value considering what they offer.
@@Nsbsvwhwuiwbsv I've never seen a demand for spinel.
Sphalerite is also known for "Identity Theft"
I am A lover of black spinel although I examples of most in gem form.
I might like spinel a bit more than I've ever had before. Sweet!
Omg when will she reform 🥰😍
Steven universe fans will understand
Yes
Hot pink to bright red I love best!
Amazing video my friend!! Thank you for sharing!!
I am a guy loving spinels.
Especially red spinels are my favorite.
I have a gold ring with a rough red spinel on it.The color is deep wine red .
But it looks vivid red in the sunshine.
It looks like the stone is full of energy.
I been collecting gemstones cut and raw for years from all over estates, ebay, jewelry stores who's owned passed and their kids were selling everything...goodwill from old broken jewelry etc.....I have a dichroscope, diamond tester, and a flashlight tool from j tv that shows it a gem is multirefrsctive.....but I'm still pretty clueless if I even own anything of value.....I also have a tourmaline that is a deep blue no green except in its outter materials where one direction it's blue the other it's green.....I bought it thinking it was par iaba but realizing how it isnt...it's the raw gemstone that I paid quite a lot for from a estate company selling a deceased persons gemstone collection....I hope I didn't over pay but would love advice on the best way determining what the gem is and any advice on telling synthetic from natural gemstones or treated stones.......I have tens of thousands of ge m s all second hand and really struggling in figuring out if any natural as they do at least test as tens with my tools
I prefer properly, polished, spinal=im posters....
🎶THAT'S RIGHT I HEARD THE STORY DON'T REALLY LIKE HOW IT ENDS, GEE IT'S NICE TO FINALLY BEAT HER OTHER FRIENDS!!!!🎶
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love purple-red and black spinel!!!
Definitely the grey-blue versus the luminous cobalt blues, but for me the grey-blue on a vintage silver ring would be simply perfect.
i love spinel more than sapphire and ruby....what about Benitoite can u talk about it
Very very beautiful
Too beautiful
Great video thank you.
be careful, the red one might pull out a scythe
Wow I love the black spinel 😱😱😱
Spinel is my favorite gemstone. It has a purity of color thanks to its SR optic character, and in the right lighting conditions has a good level of dispersion. I advise those who enjoy spinel to purchase it now because it is going up in price steadily. It can't hide its identity any longer. Something else that I point out is that as long as there is magnesium in the presence of aluminum oxide then spinel will continue to grow/form. However, once the magnesium is used up then sapphire and ruby kick in from the remaining aluminum oxide. Thanks for another first class gemstone video.
Incrível 😍 grande abraço do Brasil 💎😊
Love when I get a notification of a new video from you guys. Devoted viewer from Australia
Yess 💖💖💖 absolutely
how to differentiate between spinal and corrundum?
I only see one gem 🙂
Very good , thank you 💖💖
I really wanted to see more colors of spinel
Very fascinating and I enjoy seeing your face light up as you share your knowledge thank you
On the gem tester, I can now rule out Spinel from my Orange Yellow Topaz reading.
They both have a MOHs hardness of 8.
The dark pink and dark blue spinels are both beautiful, as is the spinel specimen in marble. The black star spinel is spectacular. It would be difficult to choose between them!
I so agree with you, they're ALL gorgeous!
Eu tenho muitas pedras vermelha menos o rubin
Pink is😍

Bonjour ; j'ai 4pierres rouges et je ne sais pas si ce sont des RUBIS ou des SPINELLES. Leurs poids vari de =3,65 grammes à 11,35 grammes. Merci pour votre aide.

Hi edagdwg love stones rocks to Linda j. Gods gifts
Make sure not to leave the Spinel in a garden for 6000 years.
Would you like to make a special appearance on my channel? Speaking of a mineral, you send me a video, I assemble or a video of 3 minutes maximum. Educational video of Stones, it speaks nomenclature crystalline structure, color ... Then I show the variations of this Mineral, nothing too complex.
Jedi spinel though treated the coolest
Nice to meet you Thank you so much.
Spinels are, as a whole, a boxful of eye-chocolates; in fact, I ordered my first pair of those pretties! I have black spinel beads, too!🤩🤩🤩
Easy, red vibrant
1:27 According to the G.I.A. Gem Identification Lab Manual, Spinel is NOT a Variety.
1:18 According to the G.I.A., Spinel is a Species... NOT A GROUP.
Bi pyramidal.
I onw a oregy red spinel
Viên đá quý đẹp nhất của 💎💎🙏❤️
