We had a cat that brought us Mice everytime she went outside (we live in the country). I always took it (in a napkin) and told her how thankful I was and hat a good huntress she was. I told her i was going to put it somewhere super safe (trash can) and she followed us to see. then a pet and a treat to praise her. she loved it.. I miss that old girl
@@sirdukeusa3289 Very true. She was a stray when we took her in had 4 tiny black minions under my bed. she was my first cat. I miss her everyday, but i know she felt loved.
We lost our cat a week ago. I find comfort in watching videos like this and remembering how he used to do these things. His name is Miles. He was a great beautiful cat. Miss him dearly 🙏🏻 **Edit after 9 months: I just read all your sweet words and prayers!! Thank you so much. Miles will always be in our hearts. For those who also shared their little story, thank you! For those who lost their beloved pets, I feel you! Sending you all hugs. We rescued another Ginger Tabby Cat, his name is Lilo. He’s 8 months now! I wish he’ll continue to be fine and healthy. For sure Miles is looking down on him from the Rainbow Bridge. 🤍🤍
The reason my mother allowed us to have a cat was because my father told her it would hunt lizards. And he was right. The cat did his job...and would frequently present the 🦎 on the back mat. Unfortunately, my mother was TERRIFIED of them... which was the reason she agreed to the cat in the first place. Having a cat as a pet? Wonderful. Hearing mom scream every time she opened the backdoor? PRICELESS! 😂
@@susanrogers1916 Did a cat type that? I have a different cat now, but I once had a cat who loved to walk on my computer keyboard. Sometimes she actually somehow managed to click just the right keys to open programs!
Well, I have an inside cat and an outside cat. The inside cat always brings small bugs or insects that are hiding, creeping around the house. My outside cat brings.. uhm... well he brings squirrels, moles, rats, and more
A little brown cat appeared at my house. I don't know where she came from. She was so skittish I started calling her Yikes. I'm a cat person so I started feeding her when I fed my other cats. She slowly started to allow me to approach her. Now she sleeps on my bed, sometimes on me. I feel honored to have gained her trust.
Did you take her to the vet to get vaccines, flea Treatment…etc before bringing her inside? I feed an outdoor cat and thought about bringing her inside, but not sure if she would like that since she has been outdoors all her life.
Had a kitten recently run after me on a night walk and miav at me until I stopped and waited for it. He would not let me escape him so I took him home and he slept the knight in my bed the day after I found the owner. Now he was unfortunately an outdoor kat and was hit by a car less than a week later. I should have stolen that damn kat.
It’s so rewarding to earn a cats trust! I love that cats choose to be friends with you. They choose to stay with you and love you. It’s a special kind of bond! ❤ I used to live on a farm with heaps of stray cats and I befriended them and looked after them and spend a ton of money desexinf them. The ones who were older were extremely shy at first and it was so rewarding to earn their trust. Some even decided they LOVED pats! I would go out for walks and have a a herd of 20 cats following me each time. Who says you cant herd cats! 😂 my amazing boyfriend still goes there every single night after work to feed them. And because we taught them that people can be their friend, they are in a better position now to find friendly neighbours (we lived on the very edge of suburbia, literally, and houses were being built across the road and now they’re lived in). Some of them are getting quite fat so other people must be feeding them too. I hope my little friend Timtam especially, who I’ve known since he was a a kitten, is getting some love. He was always jealous of my indoor cats, that he couldn’t come and sleep on my bed too. He used to sit at the window and meow and try to come inside. I couldn’t let him because my mother in law was pissed off about it and insisted that I stop collecting cats (I had all five of mine because they were in positions where I had to take them in as kittens, one was abandoned, two were causing havoc in the greenhouse and the farmer was going to get rid of them somehow, my first one was a stray from suburban streets that a family friend was feeding) There was one youngster who had a deformed leg and he was terrified of people. I couldn’t get close to him. I think someone like a farm worker must have stepped on him or similar and broke his leg. He would stand back and wait till I was at a distance before he would eat. But he looked like he wanted to get closer, he was just too scared. Eventually he got brave enough for me to catch him and take him to the vet. I couldn’t afford to treat him but they did, they raised funds to treat him, they amputated his dud leg and found him a loving home with a vet and he’s apparently turned out to be really loving and sweet and cuddly
Cats&Foxes your absolutely correct! I used to be one of those people and I’m very sorry to say I missed out on a wonderful wonderful time with cats for many many years because of it I thought that cats were completely different than what they are! Five years ago a little baby kitten wandered into my yard weak and alone. Long story short I took her in and she taught me so much! Now I foster and I take an orphaned kittens and I am The most lucky kitty mom ever!
My cat slams her head into my hand or the closest part of my body near my hand that is exposed if my hands aren't. Then she'll stay frozen with her head pressed into me until I pet her. I sat for 8 minutes ignoring her once to see what she would do. She didn't move. I finally gave in.
Same! Only the moment I stop petting her, her purring stops and she stares me down until I do it again and if she gets too impatient she'll paw at my arm
I got my cat from people who weren’t taking care of her and when I got her she was so cautious and now she’s doing most of the ones that says she’s comfortable and feels protected. So brb while I cry 🥲
I have many cats and have owned alot over the years and alot that people threw out and I brought in. The thing that gets me is when they are shown love. companionship and care they have turned into the best and loyalist friends. I ALWAYS think that the people who threw them out have no idea what they missed out on !
My cat has gotten to the point where she knows exactly what time I go to sleep on work nights. She'll meow up a storm until I lay down so she can crawl on top of my chest and curl up near my chin. She's a great kitty.
This is so on point cuz my kitties no when we go to sleep amd get up right on schedule and will let ya kno when it time for both it's so awesome they do that to us ❤

The more i watch these videos the more i learn how unhappy my cat was with my old roommate, he would only ever sleep in a hiding spot, never come out when they were around, and were really quiet. Ever since i moved he's grown so much of a personality and runs around the house as happy as can be even when i bring a stranger over, i have no clue what my roommate did but i'm glad i got the cat out of there
my sister had a cat that would hardly come out from under the bed....probably because when it did come out it was squeezed to death by my ignorant sister. she thought that its behavior was normal!
We left our house and evacute to a safer place during the taal volcano eruption this january, when we came back after two months there is a cat in our house, maybe he felt safe to stay in our house despite of lots of ashfall all over the place, he never left since then I named him ashfall 🖤
Aww i love the name. Right now there's a cat in my neighbourhood when i was in secondary like 13, im now 20 i used to feed him on a regular. But i stopped feeding him because i was busy and stuff. But recently i started feeding him again. Which i dont mind im not a cat person but i like feeding him. I have mice in my house THAT I'm trying to get rid of but its so hard. So i said i would love him to come into the house he do me a favour by kilking these rats and i take care of him. I wont let him do his job and kick him out no way, i COULD NEVER take advantage of him. But I'm trying trying to get him in the house but he's unsure. He loves home cooked chicken. Great and informative video! Look forward to seeing more. I lost my beloved 15 year old Calico, Gweenie was her name. She died three months ago, and I'm still devastated. But I got a new cat from a local shelter. Lester was a year old when I brought him home and he's been with me about three months ago. He soothed my heart after losing Gwennie and made my grieving easier than whoul've been otherwise. At this point, Lesty needs a companion, another cat. To me a home without a cat is a house/apartment and nothing else. A cat makes the four walls a home. Warm regards to my fellow feline owners and lovers.
In November '22 my wife died after a long illness, and I'd promised her I'll bring her cat Boots with me to the Midwest. she became incapacitated and I flew to NY to take care of Booty and prepare him to fly to MO where I live. She never wanted to live here so she stayed in NYC and we took turns flying back and forth. Now i have two cats, but Boots is a senior and was quite ill but is recovering after an illness in the liver and chronic ear infections. Now boots is mine and I'm his. Blessings to all of you feline parents! Thank you for your replies!
I loved your story Daniel and completely understand how you feel about a house not being a home without a cat. I live with no humans just 3 cats and I can honestly say they do make the place feel like a home rather than a house.
When my cat brings me dead mice, snakes, or whatever I pick it up with some tissue and I let my cat see me picking it up and I say thank you so much and I pet them! It’s a gift to you that they love you.
@Jevante P dogs arent really overly aggressive to many animals unless they're trained that way. They're friendly animals. even in the worst times, they wouldn't kill unless provoked. .... what did you do? Because that actually crosses a line and can become very dangerous if that dog got out of a yard. Then itd be animal control's issue.
I acquired/adopted a momma cat who was a stray. She had kittens under my mom's house, and mom kept the kittens and I took the mom. At first I wasn't thrilled about it.. I'd just lost my dog, my best friend, about 2 months earlier and wasn't ready to get another pet. But now I'm so glad I have her - she helped me when I was feeling sad about my dog passing away... I'm convinced that she could sense when I was sad, and she would snuggle up on me. She's the sweetest thing ever. She had intestinal worms and fleas, and she lost most of her hair. I was really worried so I caught her and brought her to the vet, a few medications later and a few days later, she was parasite free and her hair grew back within a month or so. I friggin love that lil booger now.
@@flevami This is normal as well; cats must learn to control their voluntary muscle groups just like humans must learn, like holding their poop until they learn how to use a liter box inside
Rubbing their scent is what a cat does to it's environment. It's a statement of ownership, an expression of territoriality. That includes their "owners," who are actually getting owned by their cats. I know. I belong to two cats. 💕🐱🐱💕
My cat never crams into small spaces. She sleeps next to me, on top of me, on the bed, chairs etc. She must feel secure anyways. And she lived years without humans! Quite amazing!

I am in love with my neighbour's cat and he loves me as well. He is the one who makes my lonely life happy. He use to prefer me over his owner anytime because I use to give him his favourite food, play with him and loves him so much. But sadly, the neighbours are shifting home today with my buddy(cat)😔😣. I am sad because I will not see him again. I know he will miss me as well. From today, I will be back to my old boring days. I don't want any other pets as well because no one can replace him and no one will ever be like him. I will miss his rubbing, licking and meows 😔 All I want now is for him to be happy. I found it such an honor when my late cat DC would bring me dead mice....one problem..he was an inside cat that never went outside..yep..i was watching tv..DC went behind the tv which was in a cove in the wall and in one hour he brought out six mice and killed them..i know cuz he showed me each one..what a way to find out you have a mouse problem.. DC was such a good hunter that when he died I started to ball and the vet put her hand on my shoulder and said " at least you know what it's like to be a mother of a serial killer"..to which i busted out laughing..I miss that old boy..great cat.
That's a really great video. There's just one thing I disagree with: the bell on the collar. This can be extremely stressful for our cats. Imagine having a bell rigging all day long close to your ears. You'd get mad!
In 8 months i become a cat lady and now when i see a box i get excited cause im thinking i need that box for cats. They have brought me so much joy and love.
When I was 11, I got a kitten. I named her Butter cup (she was a calico) she was a runt so she was smaller than most kittens her age (8 months) she was adorable and loved to cuddle. One day while I was at school, my mom found her stiff on the floor of my room. I got home from school and my mom was gone, my dad told me she took Butter Cup for a check up. My mom said that she had to be very warm and fed every 2 hours, so as the kind mother she was, she took care of Butter cup for me. Two days later I was at school, excited to see Butter Cup when I got home (It was the last day of school). My friends mom drove me home and I asked my mom "Where is Butter cup?" She started crying and told me "Im so sorry, she died last night and i didn't want to tell you to ruin your last day" We sat on the couch, holding eachother and crying. If you have made it this far in my story, I hope you have an amazing, blessed day, you are awesome!
I was walking in a field today, there were 100s of Daisys and Buttercups. My own cat is named Daisy and now each time I see a Buttercup I will think of your wonderful cat. Many blessing to you and thank you so much for sharing your story with us.
Rose and Flower. oh lovely ladies, it hurts, I know, i've lost so many rescue cats, to cancer, cat HIV, liver failures. (8 cats in total in 18 years, all senior rescues, Daisy has been the only cat ive had since a kitten at 6wks, she's 8 in human years now) there are so many things I wished Id done differently, yet I can't go back. The one thing I hold on too is I loved them, all of them, with all my soul and more and you too Rose and flower I know you did too and you know what? They knew, they knew we loved them, they felt every bit of purrfect loving energy we gave them. Keep sending that loving energy, they can still feel it whether still on earth or in spirit they feel it.
My mother would have shown me the corpse immediately and said that it was my fault - even if that was utter nonsense. That´s just the way she reacts if something bad happens. When my dog died of cancer at a really old age, ( he had been extraordinarily healthy until the time of his death) she told me that I must have given him the wrong type of dog food because "where else would the cancer have come from?" Deep sigh ....
I got my calico cat from the shelter around 3 years ago and she’s always followed me around since we got her. She follows me to the kitchen, the bathroom, my bedroom, and usually sleeps with me. She always lays in my room on her back and purrs loud. Sometimes she sits on my lap and kneads my blanket or my legs. She’s always excited to see me, especially after long trips. She always rubs her head against me and never leaves my side. I was curious today why she had been showing this behavior for so long, and realized she just feels comfortable around me, so that’s good to know she’s a happy cat.
My wife was a dog person. She grew up with one, and no cats. I was raised with a dog, a cat, a bird, and whatever else I brought home for a temporary pet. When we moved in together, I had a cat. My wife kept her distance, but Sgt. Pepper warmed her up to be a cat aficionado. Eventually, after we got married, she adopted a little kitty that was polydactyl, and that “Mitten The Kitten” lived 21 years.
I was always a dog person, but love all animals. I raised my cat as dog. As soon as I rescued him, I would invite people over and as soon as they walked in the door I would say hold my cat. I invited people to bring their small dogs over too. So he is used to being held by anyone, gets along with dogs fine. He has a harness and we go on walks. He even did a downtown pet walk once and was the only kitty in a crowd of dogs. He's my catdog.
I had this older cat once, named Saki. Whenever she was alone and couldn't see and hear anyone else, she would meow a loudly as she could possibly manage, which was very loud, until she heard or saw someone, then she would come running to them. She was calling out because she was afraid of being alone.
@@Isa-uy9rw Perhaps your kitten is having some separation anxiety from being separated from its mother so early? You usually want to wait till the kitten is three months to separate it from its mother and send it to a new home.
Does anyone else have a cat that wants to put you to bed? When it starts getting closer to the time I go to bed on work nights my cat starts meowing and pacing to me and the bed room, crying and then doing it again. She feels on edge until I go to bed. then often times she will climb into bed with me, purr and cuddle for a few minutes and then she gets up off the bed and goes about her business (she is very affectionate. She does not stay away or anything during the day or want me away from her)
I have never seen an explanation for why cats love when you change the bed. I have had many cats and they all love to sit in the way and refuse to move when you are changing sheets.
I think they think it is a big game! My cat loved attacking things through the sheets until she fell off the bed by accident. She still likes sitting in the middle of the bed while I am trying to change them!
Our cat will sometimes sit on you when you’re in bed, and refuse to move. You then have no choice but to stay in bed. But she does allow you to change the sheets, so that’s a plus, I guess...
Cool! You just explained the mystery to me! I had a cat that would get on the kitchen sink and turn on the tap to drink. I was amazed that she learned how to do that, but I also wondered why she did, because I always gave her fresh food and water. I also wished she would've turned it off when she was done lol! Thank you!
@@olshi4581 idk, a vet told me that 😂 your cat sounds adorable tho. I guess it depends on the individual cat, this is more of a general statement and it definitely doesnt apply to everyone
No bells please! Can you imagine yourself with a bell next to your ear, going ding-dang whenever you move? Bigger animals equipped with a bell, like cattle in the fields, are known to go deaf because of the constant ringing. So no bells, at least not on dogs or cats.
@@lauriee5364 This test is invalid, just compare how big you are and how small your cat is; not to mention the simple fact that cats' and dogs' ears are many times more sensitive than ours, they hear everything better, even the slightest sounds which are inaudible to human ears.
Not only that but a band around the throat is very uncomfortable for the cat. It's like permanent torture. I would never do this to my cat. Just try for your self how you feel running around all day with a rope around your throat.
@@lauriee5364 Did you really state you tested a cat bell on your own hearing? 🙄 Cats have outstanding hearing that surpasses any human. Did you also walk around with a cat collar on to see how dreadfully restricting they are?
In my old community, there was a cat that would wander around everyday and hide in the bushes. However, me and my friends saw him one day and he came out of the bushes just to play with us. He was the sweetest cat I have ever met- I don’t remember him biting even one person. We were feeding him for a month or so when we found out that he had an owner in the community and that he went missing. The crazy part was that he loved us more than his owners. So his owners established a new rule, and he came outside and roamed the community from 4:00 - 6:00. He would wait in the same bushes for us everyday, and we would give him a treat and chill out with him. I also just remembered that we got him a collar that said Maple on it, before we came to knew his real name was tiger. I love him, and I haven’t seen him in years, but I will never forget him.❣️ #catlove
The "staring at you" can also mean they want food and are just patiently waiting to see if you are going to get some out -OR- they want to rub and cuddle but know they have to wait for you to finish what you are doing.
Exactly! You are right. My cat starts staring at me from the moment she sees an empty space in her plate of tuna flakes, until I refill it.😂😂...we love her - the whole family.💕😘😽💞
My cats use the staring at me technique as a form of mind control. For example, one of my cats will intensely stare at me for a while and then casually look at the door and then go back to staring at me. I can not resist. I open the door regardless of what I was currently doing in.
Dead ass my cat meows LOUD until I let her outside. Then I heard the screen door knocking. Thinking it was my son needing help with the door I opened it and my cat came in. Shes smart as hell.
Hi lovely person scrolling thru the comments I hope you have a great day! stay safe stay healthy! we will get through this together! anyway you can carry on scrolling through other comments now im done :3
There was two number ones.. anyway, another thing they didn't mention is cats function like clockwork. They are extremely routine driven and like to have a set (almost exact) time of the day for everything they do. I have two cats (twin sisters) who are both poles apart in personality, but their routines are enough to set the clock by, and anything that breaks the routine is met with sheer disgust and displeasure... and probably silent threats of getting themselves some new human servants who will tow the line like proper staff...
I totally relate.. That if she looked at me in the first place then I would be honored if she looked aways again... She only comes to me when she sees me preparing her food
As a first time cat owner 16 years ago I learned quickly: dont question your cat and their actions. You dont have the right to question your cat. You just let your cat do what they do because you are below your cat. I'm now almost 40 and my 16 year old passed away last year but I do still have her boyfriend ( rescued him almost 16 years ago ) and my baby whom is now almost 6. And to this day I am still the servant and they still own me and I'm not gonna complain
I have 2 stray cats, 🍀 lucky is a ♀️"elegant and well-behaved " age 3 years old she always get praised by the vet and kiro a ♂️and he is a spoiled kid age 4month I just love them so much and trying my best to make them happy
My cats want to include me in the hunt. They bring in a living rodent and then meow-howl up a storm to gather as many humans as they can rouse. Then they let the rodent go and start hunting, with human aid (since we do have a vested interest in the hunt being successful at that point).
My cat one day brought a small tree snake dangling on her mouth. I didn't know that being a family of feral cats that haunts and brings food for their family, my cat was literally wanting to share it with me. Petrified and shocked, I threw whatever was at hand to her just to let go of the snake. And she did after a few times. When I read that it's the cat's instinct, I embraced my cat and showered her with kisses.
i just wanted to thank you once again for these amazing videos. i've started training with my cat about a month and a half ago and she can follow finger, sit, fist bump and jump in an arm hoop in sequence for just one treat! every time i post a video of her on twitter it blows up! she is not a very cuddly cat so this is has been an enormous bonding experience for us that we hadnt even known was possible. thank you so much!
Heres my story. I was never really a fan of cats, I was a dog person. I used to think that they're just mean. But my aunt decided to buy a cat. But at that time she was pretty busy, So she made me take care of her cat. I have never touched, or meet a cat in real life. So when I met her cat, I was excited. When I saw her cat I couldn't let go. Then hours later, I realized that cats are really sweet, and so adorable. So ever since then I would tell my mom that I wanted a cat but she said no, cuz we already have dogs in our house. But I saw a kitten available for adoption. And I asked my sister, and she said yes. Now I have a 2 month old kitten, And her name is Morana. But since my mom wasnt happy that I adopted a cat. She doesnt support me, and now Im raising her by myself. Im 14 and I had to go through different stores to buy her the things she needs using my money, Its hard. But I love her more than anything. My family isnt really a cat person. But I think they just dont know what it feels like to be with a cat. This year has been hard for me, and Morana made me happy, when no one else can. If u guys can give me advice I would really appreciate it.
Try bringing the kitten around the house more and have it get used to everyone but at the end of the day if you can’t support the financial cost of a cat then looks like you’ll have to find it a new home, think about the animal before yourself.
When I got my first cat, my mom was not happy. I kept him in my bedroom and occasionally would let him sneak out. After doing this many times, my mom got very attached. So funny! He would jump on her lap for affection. Eventually she gave in. He ended up being her cat. He loved her the most ❤️ and she loved him also.
I'm 49. Have had cats since I was born in Sweden. But... When I moved to Thailand 8-9 years ago I realised that here, you don't own cats. They own you. I just adopted a 2 year old cat and she’s already my best friend, but she only comes around me at night, and hides under the bed for almost 20 hours a day I’ve had her for not even a week so maybe she’ll loosen up once she gets more comfortable as the new home is all new to her...
It takes time. Give her the back of your hand and try to pet her when feeding to get her completely comfortable with your touch. I adopted three kittens at a time and this behavior bothered me at first too to be honest it took probably two to three months for them to start acting "normal" with me. Try to spend time with her and don't force the relationship she will come around. I felt so much joy when they started rubbing on my legs for no reason and jumping on my lap they love body warmth she will definitely come to you more often and come around 😻

The thing about cats pushing objects off edges isn't accurate entirely. Cats do feel around with their paw-whiskers, and if they're messing with objects on an edge, it's because they know it will fall. They need the fall to signify the effect of their actions. But, why though? Easy answer: the cat needs more play time. Some cats NEED to train their hunting talents and stay sharp to be confident and happy. If they feel they're losing their skills and beginning to rust, they will start edge-pushing to retain their skills. Play with your kitties at least 15 minutes a day, even if it's just 5 minutes at a time.
Agree, this is really teaching bad human behavior by ignoring your cat instead of re-directing its attention to things more pleasing to its owners like playing with its own toys and not the glass on the kitchen counter that someone didn't put in the dishwasher.
Soo true! Sometimes I see myself being lazy or selfish! NOT a pretty site! Our kitty will go in the living room and literally howl (like a cat in heat!) But she is saying I need to play! And one of us will take 15 min. and play w/her. and usually she has me laughing till I'm in tears. THAT feels GOOD! You know how entertaining it is to watch 2 or more kittens playing? Well I suppose I should I should video tape us sometime!. Hey play is play, right? I have enjoyed it so much, whereas before I was just a "watcher"! Pnce again an animal has taken me over top! Also, it is the cats that like to play the most are the better hunters! TAKE TIME TO PLAY!😘
It's not so impressive to people who like mice. I mean I'd hardly be proud of my dog if he bought me a dead cat as a gift. And I'd be a bit annoyed if someone's pet boa killed my dog. I would also not feel very kindly to a human who killed a boa and presented it to me as as a present. I'm not happy about humans killing other humans, or live-stock, for that matter. Inflicting death does not give me a warm, fuzzy feeling.
@@jlantis55 Jesus christ dude. Theyre cats. Of course they're gonna be bothersome, but they also have a lot of benefits to humans, mainly being a friend to you! It's okay if you don't like cats. But the aggression from this comment is genuinely concerning. Every single thing has pros and cons, ESPECIALLY other beings.
@@jlantis55 Wow. Obviously you don't relate to cats purring, lying in your lap, wanting you to play with them, you watching them play because it's so cute...so many things that cat people get "in return" from cats
that means that your cat is marking their territory. if it rubs its cheeks against you that is either a sign of affection or your cat is claiming you as theirs.
This video is so enlightning. During my lifetime most of the things shown here were done by my cats i had. Thank you very much . I will memorise them now and try and understand more my cats.
My female just had kittens not even a day old and she basically asked me to come into their space by meowing til I followed and rolled on her back after waking the babies up and just looked at me.... She started purring when I put the babies on her belly then supported her head and rubbed it while she watched them nursing with the best view possible and My heart melted, I felt beyond honored ❤️
My Smores did the same thing. She meowed and while I was looking at her babies, she layed down, let them start nursing and looked up at me like " Look wut I did!" She was proud of herself. Lol....
We still have her 5 yrs later and she does ALL of the endearing things from the vid. This one is gonna break my heart when she goes. Ugh! But until then CHEERS!
That's lovely, she really trusts you and introduces you to her babies, so you can take care of them, too, like you cared for her all her life. 🙂 People who say that cats are aloof and don't show affection always make me laugh, felines are as attached to you as dogs are, they just don't always wear their feelings on their sleeves. I have cats and dogs both, and I cannot say which I love more.
I know the feeling. I adopted 2 sisters that were dumped young at the business next too my house. I coaxed them with food and eventually got them into the house. One always rolls onto her back n stretches, the other will rub on my leg constantly lol

PRICELESS! 😂
Hahaha. My mum had the same problem. She allowed us to get a cat because she is terrified of mice. Little did she know cats bring mice as presents.
Vn gqq u q
@@susanrogers1916 Did a cat type that? I have a different cat now, but I once had a cat who loved to walk on my computer keyboard. Sometimes she actually somehow managed to click just the right keys to open programs!
Heheheh.
I couldn’t let him because my mother in law was pissed off about it and insisted that I stop collecting cats (I had all five of mine because they were in positions where I had to take them in as kittens, one was abandoned, two were causing havoc in the greenhouse and the farmer was going to get rid of them somehow, my first one was a stray from suburban streets that a family friend was feeding)
There was one youngster who had a deformed leg and he was terrified of people.
I was never a cat person
But a random cat from the street started brushing against my leg and now im binge watching all youtube cat videos
Me too!!!!!

@Jevante P 0_o
@Jevante P And how do cats destroy your property? They kill mice and other pests idiot
@Jevante P Dogs are normally loving animals. You must've trained your dog to fight and kill.
@Jevante P what????

DISTRACTING YOUR LIFE?
I got my calico cat from the shelter around 3 years ago and she’s always followed me around since we got her. She follows me to the kitchen, the bathroom, my bedroom, and usually sleeps with me. She always lays in my room on her back and purrs loud. Sometimes she sits on my lap and kneads my blanket or my legs. She’s always excited to see me, especially after long trips. She always rubs her head against me and never leaves my side. I was curious today why she had been showing this behavior for so long, and realized she just feels comfortable around me, so that’s good to know she’s a happy cat.
My cat just started peeing on my mats she has never done that she's 9 years old last night she peed on the floor I don't know what to do any answers
large pupils dont always mean danger, it can also mean they're excited/need something to release their energy

I have a 2 month kitten that does that. Even though we adopted him with his brother so he wouldn’t be lonely I guess he just wants a human.

Leave the t v or radio on, so they don't think they r alone. That's what I do!
She does not stay away or anything during the day or want me away from her)
That's so adorable, she is tucking you in 😍

I have never seen an explanation for why cats love when you change the bed. I have had many cats and they all love to sit in the way and refuse to move when you are changing sheets.
I think they think it is a big game! My cat loved attacking things through the sheets until she fell off the bed by accident. She still likes sitting in the middle of the bed while I am trying to change them!
.My wife and i call it, he is helping me make the bed, lol, my cat named Buddy does it all the time.
@@corvettebmw More like preventing bed making!🤣😂🤣
Our cat will sometimes sit on you when you’re in bed, and refuse to move. You then have no choice but to stay in bed. But she does allow you to change the sheets, so that’s a plus, I guess...
Yes! Exactly...both my cats do this lol. It drives me crazy. But I also think it’s pretty cute. 💕
Cool! You just explained the mystery to me! I had a cat that would get on the kitchen sink and turn on the tap to drink. I was amazed that she learned how to do that, but I also wondered why she did, because I always gave her fresh food and water. I also wished she would've turned it off when she was done lol! I agree. I did so in the past, & could tell it was upsetting the cats, so I stopped doing it.
No bells please! Can you imagine yourself with a bell next to your ear, going ding-dang whenever you move? Bigger animals equipped with a bell, like cattle in the fields, are known to go deaf because of the constant ringing. So no bells, at least not on dogs or cats.
My cat has a bell but it isn’t loud I tested it on myself to see.
Cats have outstanding hearing that surpasses any human. Did you also walk around with a cat collar on to see how dreadfully restricting they are?
Worrying about a bell when people blast music, tv, games and cars plus other noises outside

My cats use the staring at me technique as a form of mind control. For example, one of my cats will intensely stare at me for a while and then casually look at the door and then go back to staring at me. I can not resist. I open the door regardless of what I was currently doing in.

There was two number ones.. anyway, another thing they didn't mention is cats function like clockwork. They are extremely routine driven and like to have
a set (almost exact) time of the day for everything they do. I have two cats (twin sisters) who are both poles apart in personality, but their routines are
enough to set the clock by, and anything that breaks the routine is met with sheer disgust and displeasure... and probably silent threats of getting
themselves some new human servants who will tow the line like proper staff...
We just rescued a gorgeous calico ❤ she's kitten crazy right now but so worth the trouble 😍

You just let your cat do what they do because you are below your cat.

You are a kind and loving owner. I hope your family comes around to your cat.
I hope things have improved for you and your cat. I don't really have any advice besides love your fur baby. You are doing a great job!!!

My cat is never meow when I'm asleep until I wake up she keeps on playing around me but never make sound and this Make my heart melts coz she knows that I too need rest 😘😘
The drawn / animated cat is so adorable.
I suspect that edge pushing may be a way they open things like eggs in the wild

Is it weird that I love when my cat brings me mice? It makes me so proud…
There feeding you🥰
It's not so impressive to people who like mice.
My boy kitties would each come up to me from time to time and suck on my earlobe for the first two years! It was so precious.
