I am just happy to be BACK on RUclips and I saw your vid at the top of my feed. My channel was "permanently terminated" on June 1st, within hours of me uploading a video titled "The Shocking Sexuality of Saga." And here on July 4th, Independence Day it was reinstated (albeit with all my comments deleted). As for Dark Designs...I don't read moderns much but it looks like something I'll get if/when it appears at Ollie's in the distant future. And as usual your audio remains stellar!
Oh wow crazy sorry to hear this! Well, Welcome Back 🎉 I actually just jumped back on RUclips a few weeks ago :) Thanks for stopping by! 🎉 And totally respect the non-modern approach. If it piques your interest I do recommend if you find it discounted at that Ollie’s 🧐😉 Have you read anything worth recommending lately?
@@TheComicBookReport Thanks! Huge relief, because the idea of starting from scratch was just...deflating. Man, that's a good question. I post some modern covers and art from people like Grampa and Paul Pope on my FB Group, but aside from Saga I can't think of anything new I've read. I have a huge stack of unopened Ebay purchases however including some Golden Age EC's and a giant Artist's Edition of EC Covers.
@@GodLovesComics oh wow golden age EC I bet have some pretty radical covers! 💪💪 I read a book recently from Geoff Johns called Geiger that I loved I will probably do a video on it in the next few weeks
@@TheComicBookReport Just looked it up and it looks pretty cool. I love that they did an 80-page Giant. Looks like there's some Fury Road action going on as well. I'll be interested to watch your review.
After reading this story I questioned how Batman knew it was joker and it made me try to come to same conclusion. The designer was a man who lived in the shadows so for him to come out and cause trouble which was easy to follow his something joker has no problem doing. The designer made no move against the joker which is weird considering joker was the one who killed him that night. Lastly he would most likely smell like a corpse unless joker loved some fabreeze down his throat. I don’t if it was one of these or some different reason but that is what I believe.
@@TheComicBookReport it is definitely the best out of the James tynion run I have read so far, loved the idea of the new replacing the old as it introduces us to new characters that I feel are going to become important to Batman mythos
@@TheComicBookReport His independent work is pretty cool! Like the Department of Truth. I still need to check out Something is Killing the Children though!

@@TheComicBookReport actually no but mcu has turned me on to comics and i been looking for good entry level comic readers how to understand issues sets etc still lost on that so i rly love ur vids to know runs an stories i may enjoy this is great imo
Hello! Maybe some day :) I’ve got four of the volumes still need to pick up fear state. I’m enjoying the run though, Tynion has some pretty solid stuff :)
@@TheComicBookReport glad you are enjoying it. This run will lead into fear state. Also, i would suggest to get fear state sage as suppose to vol 5. Fear state has all of vol 5 plus the side stories. Just a heads up.
@@MandoAllDay I appreciate that, am planning on picking it up. I got the Joker War Saga instead of volume 2 and was happy I did. I imagine fear state saga is probably similar :)
So after this volume one of Tynion’s Batman: Vol 2: Joker War Vol 3: Ghost Stories Vol 4: The Cowardly Lot Vol 5: Fear State. So far I’ve reviewed vol 1-4 on the channel :)
