The long halloween being marked as an "early story" despite being like a decade post crisis breaks my brain. Its like 50 years after the character's debut it isnt early at all

*Marvel* Only started collecting mid 2023 and instantly clicked with Omnibus format. Had originally considered myself unbias between the two comic powerhouses but I feel my ratio is 8:1 in favour of Marvel. Greater selection, look more uniformed on the shelf, easier to follow a reading order, etc. Looking forward to grabbing *Knightfall Vol 2* later this month but i just know thats gonna add more carnage to my DC shelves

I thought it was natural to read with the dust jacket off. With it on it can crease, tear, etc. and just gets in the way.

Marvel always. For starters, DC have changed their logo multiple times over the years. My only complaint with Marvel is that they don't use the character logos across all their omni's, especially the mainline numbered ones. That makes no sense to me and is kind of annoying

I personally like Marvels style more simply for the fact that DC constantly changes its logos style/location/size/color.

Dust jacket comes off to protect it especially after traveling with Batman by Loeb and Sale and it tore it up. Don't recommend.

I prefer the look of DC books over Marvel. With that said, I don’t appreciate how DC changes their logo every 6 years.

I collected all the trades as they were coming out....however I still want this book. I did just find the 2006-2009 omnibus as I've been slowly going backwards and reading old runs of MK

My entire marvel collection of over 200+ omnis all have matching spine formats. Marvel omni logo up top, black spine background, logo that matches era of the character or team, creators/volumes list, spine pic from the interior run at bottom. Just like the Star Wars, secret wars, GOTG, etc in this video. Thats the proper marvel format

I like every cover being different. I really dislike the marvel stamp. Almost want to get custom dust jackets to get rid of them. 😂

Uniform! My daredevil and Spider-Man shelves look like their own piece of art… now if I could just figure out the x men section.

I like Marvel, you have the unifying logo at the top, but the rest of the spines have more creative variety.

I prefer the DC omnibus design. I think the lack of uniformity makes them more interesting to look at, and given how much real estate those spines take up in my house…I want something interesting to look at! Uniformity is cooler on smaller formats, like when you have a shelf full of Epic Collections

I'm a huge DC fan. That's all I've got in my collection aside from Image (Invincible and Spawn). And I love the creativity DC has for spines. But I will give credit to Marvel with that consistent red band logo. Also, I see you're missing Superman the Triangle Era Omnibus volume one!

I prefer DC ima. Huge Batman fan but I still do like Marvel but I think DC covers are different and unique marvel it’s ok to have the same covers but I think variety it way better makes DC stand out more

I prefer DC, uniformity of Marvel is pretty boring and they don't stand out. I mean Marvel can't even make volume 1 and 2's spines match, they almost always drop the ball. Not to mention they change the spine of a series along the way, DC does not do that often. DC variety does not look bad and it looks far superior on the shelves in my opinion. Easy win for DC here. I really like the individuality of every single DC omni spine, every single one of them shine on the shelves.

I prefer the uniform look of the Marvel omnibi, with the "Marvel Omnibus" logo at the top and the spine art at the bottom. I also LOVE it when they have the covers of the collected issues on the back cover.

But I enjoy the spines on my marvel omnibus

I prefer if dc had a spine design for rebirth and new 52 they already did that with the golden silver and Bronze Age

I can give or take the unifying stamp at the top saying it’s an omnibus. However, I will always choose more visually interesting spines. I have never been big on the Marvel spines that are simply jet black with a logo or even just text.

Dustjacket is always off, that way I don't do any damage to it.
