    I honestly LOVE how different and unique this comic is because one of my favourite parts of X-men is that every character is different, unique and expresses that in a unique way plus i like seeing different characters in the spotlight which is another one of my favojrite X-men things

    Nice review! I was wondering if you could do reviews on some of the latest Batman runs by Chip Zdarsky with the Failsafe storyline, since you've done reviews on volumes 1 and 2? The rest are :
    Batman Volume 3: The Joker Year One
    Batman Volume 4: Dark Prisons
    Batman Volume 5: The Dying City

      @The_14th_Ghost_Face hey thanks for stopping by! Honestly I’d love to review more Zdarsky Batman. I haven’t picked up those next collections but if/when I do I absolutely plan to review 🦇🦇🦇

    LOL why did marvel put that Ultimate Universe one shot in the X-men book and not Ultimate Invasion

    • @TheComicBookReport
      @TheComicBookReport  13 дней назад +2

      Point of clarity:
      The Ultimate Universe one-shot I believe is coming in the Ultimates paperback coming in February (although I agree it should have been included in Invasion).
      What is included in here along with the Ultimate X-Man issues is “material from” the ultimate universe one-shot-I really believe it’s just a page or two though, nothing substantive and certainly not the whole issue 😂
      Just wanting to clarify

    I don't get why this is the new Ultimate X-Men since it doesn't seem to have anything to do with what's going on everywhere else, but its manga style has me interested so I might when I can.

    • @TheComicBookReport
      @TheComicBookReport  14 дней назад +1

      @@gloydorangeboar3136 it’s still early on so unclear how it will tie into an overall ultimate universe narrative but it’s interesting. If anything this first volume had me intrigued to see what happens next now that this book kind of set up the series

      @TheComicBookReport  15 дней назад +2

      @@patrickhouchard5532 it is different storytelling style to be sure. By the end of the book I felt like it was really coming together though. I’m curious about the subsequent volume whenever that gets released

      Good review 👍
      I absolutely love this book. Issue # 5 is the best issue so far.
      I do think Zack Davisson deserves a shout out. He does amazing translation, editing and storytelling suggestions for Peach Momoko's work. The lexicon at the end of every chapter was his idea because he knew some Western readers wouldn't understand some parts of Japanese culture. Peach Momoko's storytelling is of course superb. 👌

      @ oh my goodness that creator certainly deserves a shoutout!
      And yeah I enjoyed how immersive this read was, unlike any mainstream modern comic I’ve read. If anything this book made me excited for the next volume because I enjoyed how it started to come together toward the end of the collection
