If it was an English word it would be pronounced “crake” because of the “ai” sound. Just because you’re completely oblivious to the Irish language it doesn’t make you right.

I was once on an 8am Ryainair flight from London Standstead to Budapest. When I got in my seat I quickly realized that many of the passengers on the flight were traveling in a bachelor party group. Some of the lads were wearing matching t-shirts, some were dressed up in costumes. They boarded the plane and were soon all passing around a couple bottles of Jagermeister that they had bought at duty-free, much to the displeasure of the flight crew. The flight attendants threatened to keep the plane on the ground until the liquor was confiscated. All of the sudden a man stood up in a police officer uniform and looked at the men. "Stop what youre doing" he said assertively and turned to the flight attendants. "I'll handle this" he said, as a wave of relief passed over the crew and many of the other passengers. The officer walked over, grabbed the bottle from the party, got one one knee in the aisle and began to chug. The entire group burst out singing Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. Only on a Ryanair flight man...
ATC - "Sir, due to traffic I'm gonna put you on hold over runway 4"
Pilot - "Youll do fookin nuttin"

Easy jet used to have a captain who would occasionally do his stand up comedy skits, they are on YT somewhere, bloody hilarious. Just like when you're
flying over eastern med and the stewardess comes and sits next to you at the rear of the aircraft, opens the ref manual at the page entitled Ditching at Sea, no joke I thought she was having a laugh. That was like a scene out of one of the airplane movies.
Bit hard to see a BA pilot doing that, isn't it?
(Although after stranding 75,000 people for a weekend in May, perhaps they should try a bit of this kind of PR!)
