This looks like such a good idea! It genuinely looks comfortable, too. Regular purses tend to either hurt my shoulder or bounce around and be in the way. Bonus points for it being cute!
Ooh excited about this and speaking of kids. I have to wait for tax return as soon as it comes. I'm enrolling in your course. Those bags are cool commonly used by motorcycle groups. I saw them selling them at a CCW expo here.
I LOVE my Ukoala bag. I wear it like a saddle bag on the waist and leg (wore with a skirt too!). And works really nicely for my bro in his wheelchair too! I also found it at the USCCA Expo in Fort Worth last year. Highly recommend going to it this year for anyone interested (not a promo or anything lol, I just loved it)
I ordered one of these bags last week and it is due to be delivered tomorrow! I am even more excited about it after watching your video. I ordered the Standard Pheonix in Purple and I agree with you Stav, I think they look pretty neat. They would be great to use on a motorcycle, bike, horseback riding etc. I can't wait to try it out!
This was so helpful. I am 5 months pregnant began purse carrying about a month ago when my appendix rig became too uncomfortable and my attire had to change. I’ve been agonizing over how I could easily carry after giving birth and this looks like a solid option.
Congrats. I know purse carry sucks, but it's far better than not carrying at all... and I always appreciate when women carry. I appreciate all good people that carry, but especially women. The disparity of force just makes it more important and women are also more likely to have children in their custody... so it seems like common sense to me.
Great bag and options! I had been thinking about the bag Tactica offers, which is similar. But tonight you have opened and entire option line. Thank you so much. I also have to respond to your class. I cannot wait.
I’d been eyeing this bag for 3 years. Finally found it for a price that was better than I had yet seen, and so I got it for Christmas. I love it! I’d probably make a couple small changes to make it my perfect bag, but it’s the closest to perfect that I have found 🥰
@@SheEquipsHerself, I’d like a solid way to hold a water bottle, or a way to strap it on perhaps. I know they had bigger bags, but I don’t necessarily want it bigger. I’d also like an internal spot for change with a zipper.
I often find myself asking, "What would Stav/ Mac think/ have to say about that?" 😄 You want to conceal carry and you have a baby.... definitely an option to consider. It's not like this looks bad, and when it all comes down to it, who cares what someone might say. The truth is that you a little more vulnerable now as a mom (or dad) than you were before having a baby. You may even be targeted because of having your children with you. Consider how much longer just getting in and out of your car is with a baby/ young child. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and opinions.
Thank you for all the videos! I just got this bag for my 43x however the bag magnetic pocket is a very tight fit for it but my husband’s shield fits in it great
I'm not sure if this would help any other mommas, but I carry my young children in a structured carrier almost any time we're in town. I found your video where you demo-d putting in a holster/trigger guard into a pocket that didn't have one. Many baby carriers have a decent sized pocket, ( I use an ergo 360 the majority of the time) I found that putting in a plastic holster into the pocket worked really well! The trigger is fully protected from both sides and nothing is blocking the draw after you open the zipper, which is super easy and quick to open. Not sure if this helps anyone, but as i have my child in a carrier so often, this has been such a great option for us. Thank you for providing so much great, thoughtful information for us! Your videos have been very helpful!
Not this motorcyclist: The metal on the leg strap is right where I grip the tank so it would scratch the heck out of my paint. That's great big deal-breaker.
Just ordered this bag! They have it in a beautiful wine color now ♥️ so happy to see you did this video! I was just randomly scrolling through and saw you did it! Even more excited to get it now!
Really informative, and I love the detail you show with the different pockets and draws. Trying to decide if I could use this as a hands-free purse while still using my current belly band holster.

love the bag...retention, theft-resistant, cool looking, versatile. But, you're only 'equipped' as long as your are carrying the bag. Saw my daughter-in-laws last eve...best off-body option I've seen to date, by far. Thanks for the great vid.
I bought the UUB Phoenix and I just want to point out to anyone that might want to purchase this purse/bag that the velcro holster does not come with it, it is sold separately.
Also in backpack configuration you could use the quick release strap to quickly swing the bag in front of you like a CCW sling pack to get to the hoster. done this with 5.11 backpack
I have the Ukoala Cowboy and use it with a White Hat Holsters hybrid leather/kydex velcro platform. It feels much more secure than the little soft velcro holsters that come with most gun purses. They are also great for use in backpacks, etc that have a pocket with a velcro panel (like 5.11's LV & Covrt lines of backpacks). Great videos and thank you!
@@deucedeuce1572 Unfortunately it seems they did. I went to buy another velcro, and the website was completely gone. Crossbreed and Falco make some velcro backed ones, but not for the set up I wanted.
I know UUBGear markets these as unisex bags, but as a guy, I'd love if they made just a few changes: 1) Take away most of the pockets an just leave the two inner most pockets, 2) Make it so it hangs lower on your leg or at least make it adjustable so you can hang it lower, and 3) Remove all the strappy things on the zippers and things that flap around as you walk. If they did this, I think it would be more suitable for a guy to use without drawing as much attention. Basically, make a version that is thinner and hangs down lower. (Think: Han Solo style, but in a bag.)
I had this on my Christmas wish list this year because of your video, and I got it! It is incredible. I am a babywearing mama and this is going to be perfect. I did get the holster as well and it seems like the plain velcro you have in the video is a much better option-where is a good place to order one like yours?

Wow, talk about a pistol packing Momma. Seriously, I don’t think I’d have the marbles to go out alone with a diaper, bottle, gun bag. In today’s world at certain times of your life it takes a village to safely manage life’s challenges. My wife and I were clueless first time parents. The child had us completely undone when we would leave the house. I can’t fathom negotiating those challenges with a screaming baby and a 9mm. Oh, and Stav, and Mac back me up on this, if you ever have kids, your gonna have to at some time buy a belt! Not one of those mamby/pamby ladies belts either. One of those thick/heavy inch and a half African Safari gun belts that weigh more than you do. Of course if anyone could get the job done and still look rocking it would be you. Your quite a resourceful young woman. Thank you for the video, you make me a better/safer shooter.
That bag looks like a leather motorcycle bag. They have them on Amazon between $20 to $45 although you may need to modify them with velcro if you want to mount a holster. Look for Mens Genuine Leather Bike Cycling Waist Hip Bum Fanny Pack Drop Leg Bag
Sorry if I just missed you saying it, but I’m assuming you’re using the standard size bag in this video. I’m also petite and trying to figure out if I should get the standard or compact bag. I usually prefer smaller purses.
I got this as an early Mother’s Day gift and love it. I can’t use the holster that came with it. My sights get stuck when trying to remove it. What is the brand for the black one you use?
They have three sizes, what size is this one? And do you know if it will fit a Glock 48? Thank you! I’m thinking of getting this bag for my first bag but want to make sure it will work out!
I like this bag, I feel like it is less likely to be taken since it is more attached to your body than a typical purse. My worry is when you pull your gun holding your baby. What if the perp returns fire and your baby is in the middle? It would be hard to get shots on target and shield your baby. That's what scares me.
I have always wanted one of those bags. I’m curious , you know how they say don’t wear a shirt advertising you carry? Do you think these bags do the same?
I think most people would just assume it is a unique fashion statement with no practical purpose, I doubt anyone would assume it was for a gun at first glance. And even so, it is not illegal to carry a gun, so if they don't like it, that's their problem.
Bikers wear them when traveling because they don't have much room in saddle bags. Plus they want something sturdy that is not going to be in their way while trekking on a Harley.
A lot of motorcycle ladies used these back when I was riding, & I think they're popular with equestrians too. They don't scream "tactical" to most people.

Do you have any recommendations on holsters (on body, not bags) for concealed carrying while baby carrying? I carry my 18m old on my back most days. Im thinking something like the under bra ones but i would love recommendations!
Also, where did u find the holster from another bag the plastic works just like that but looks tacky (but works) if u could pm me what bag n where to get one of those. I'm very small so I like lightweight. (90/4'9😬) I would greatly appreciate it!
We ordered our holsters from Ultimate Holster back in July last year. My husband finally got his a month ago but every time i call i get told they're working on it and it'll ship out within a week, then months go by and it still hasn't shipped. I don't understand why they say a 14-20 week lead time. It's been almost 8 months and I still haven't gotten it yet and that's a lot of money to put in a holster. Super frustrated with them right now
Question for you Stav..I have the same gun as you do (S&W Shield Plus) and I struggle with the safety off. Do you have any trip and/or Suggestion for me? AND I absolutely LOVE your videos, I have learned a ton and look forward to seeing you new video. Thank you for your help and have a wonderful day. ~ G
I may have to get one of those bags. I like the idea of having it attach around my waist because having a bag hanging from my shoulder for a long time can be a problem for me. Not sure if the strap around my leg would be annoying though, especially if I need to use a restroom. Do you find the leg strap to be comfortable if you're using the bag for several hours? Also, did you get the optional waist belt extension that they recommend for wearing with the cross-body or backpack configuration? Since you're kind of petite ( and I'm very close to your size) I wasn't sure if you needed it. Also anyone else reading this who can answer my questions, please do, since Stav may not see this or have time to answer.
