your welcome Eugenie. Being from Australia myself, there are some great Aussie recipes for sweets and meat pies etc. Pavlova being one of our favourites :)
Eugenie I love making these, they're awesome how they puff p. I add cheddar cheese in them sometimes and they taste fantastic. Have you ever made any Australian recipes? I'd love for you to make one :)
Hi Eugenie, I love ur recipes. Thanks so much for them. I have a small favour to ask - can u please demonstrate how to make corn bread (if u can)? Thanks once again
your oven may run hotter than the setting. Use an oven thermometer that you stick on the rack inside to determine what the true temperature of your oven is. My oven runs hotter, so I had to adjust the time I had them in there.
I baked this for the fourth time today. that's how good it is! but the one I baked today didn't have the little hole(?) in the middle. why could that be? :(
Hello! I tried making the puddings, but half of the puddings wouldn't puff up, and none of the puddings would turn brown even after an hour. Should I turn up the heat in my oven? I put the oven at 230C.
Hi, A popover is an American version with butter of Yorkshire pudding.
Hi, butter is added to popover, but not for yorkshire pudding.
6 in regular muffin molds (bigger than cupcake molds)
Probably because 1) your oven wasn't preheated enough 2) the oil in your pan wasn't very hot (and least likely) 3) too much batter in your mold.
Thanks! I will try to do more 3-ingredient recipes. :)
It's rather savory, but you can serve with sweet spreads.
Happy to hear that, thanks! :)
half teaspoon is just okay but a chef (you ^^) can always adjust the amount to your liking.
Yes, but not too significantly.
Sure! :)
Thanks, happy to read you, Vicky! :)
Yes at this much rarely high baking temperature. :)
With cheddar, this should taste so good! And Australian food? I will have to do some research first. Thanks for good idea, Ange! :)

For others out there, it's common to use meat drippings instead of the oil and you have a very nice essence( of w/e meat you cooked) in the pudding.
These are almost like German-style pancakes! Very little ingredients and you can put whatever toppings you want! Looooove!
Eugenie , i made these they were so good . THANK YOU !!!!

Does it really rise like that? You don't need self-rising flour or baking powder?
I baked this for the fourth time today. that's how good it is! but the one I baked today didn't have the little hole(?) in the middle. why could that be? :(

+snookedyou no, but traditionally they are supposed to have a dent in the middle so that you can fill them with vegetables and meat.
