    Serves: 8 puddings
    Ingredients:
    225g plain flour
    185ml milk
    4 eggs
    Method:
Firstly, beat the eggs and milk together in a mixing bowl.
Then whisk the milk mix into the flour to form a batter, don’t worry about making this smooth as the lumps will breakdown while it rests in the fridge overnight.
Next pre heat the dishes with a good layer of vegetable oil 200 degrees celsius.
Once the oil is hot, pour the batter in to the moulds and put straight back into the oven for 30 minutes.
Once baked remove from the oven and then leave to cool, when ready flash back through the oven when needed.

Traditionally, Yorkshire puddings were eaten as a starter with gravy.

Have to say, they don't look the best. The fat needs to be piping hot in the tray before the mix goes in and no need to rest the mixture

Just watched another episode:- curry powder, cummin, smalles amazing and then white British people call the Indian curry breath and the Village pubs give Indians the worst service and will serve everyone first apart the ones they sole the dishes from! Its funny though that they hit on the Indian women and hit the Indian man whilst ordering Chicken curry Naan, and Papad with some Basmati rice. On this edition he did spicey curried nuts!

My god, take that chip off of your shoulder and have some self respect.
Spices are an ingredient that all peoples should be able to share and enjoy. Britain has close ties to India because of it's colonial past, but because of this a huge number of Indians live in the UK, adding their influence and culture to British cuisine. You think 1.5 million Indians can live in massive communities all over England for a hundred years and not influence the food we eat?
And If you think when you go into a pub, that you're given bad service on purpose because you're Indian, you're not living in the UK; you're living in your own little world. Maybe 15 years ago, in rural, northern parts of England there's some rough areas full of racist people. But no, the average British person doesn't "hit on indian women and hit the indian man".

O.K Kerridge we get that you have 2 Michelin Stars please stop harping on about it! Just watched your Proper Pub Grub Series where you are roasting an abergine. This dish is called Auro, Burthu, Imam Bayildi, the kicker is; Rachel Allen, Nigeel Lawson, James Martin, Jamie Oliver, Nigel Slater, Ainsley Harriot, RIck Stien, basically all of the non Indian chefs have stolen this dish. Why dont they just get an Indian to make Indian food? Rather than having a proxy person doing it? I note nearly evey dish Kerridge does is Indian just like all of the above. I came to England to get to know UK food, but all I found is that thier dishes and even thier national dish is curry! I saw an article in Country Side Le vie where some English women claimed she had invented Samosas, she must be over 5000 years old.

He didn't mention his michelin stars anywhere in this video.
Also because "Rachel Allen, Nigeel Lawson, James Martin, Jamie Oliver, Nigel Slater, Ainsley Harriot, RIck Stien" are all famous celebrity chefs in the UK with their own TV shows.
Also you say "This dish is called Auro, Burthu, Imam Bayildi" but how do you know that? because they used stuffed aubergine? yeah, the turkish stuff eggplant. and so do the italians. and so do the spanish. and so do the indians. and so do the chinese. and so do the filipinos.
Someone using a certain technique or ingredient isn't "stealing". Just because someone in your country combined certain ingredients together 5000 years ago, means that nobody else from any other countries are allowed to eat it?
if you're not Italian, should you be stopped from eating pizza, or pasta? if you weren't born in a nordic country, should you be banned from eating gravlax?
And that being said, a lot of the ingredients those chefs use on their shows, aren't "authentic" ingredients. They don't make the dishes the way your grandma from India makes it, because those ingredients aren't as available in shops in the uk. So they make dishes inspired by other dishes, they use their knowledge of food and their experiences to build a dish that the average brit would be able to make at home, with ingredients from the supermarket.

You must realise, that India was part of the British empire,so yes you could say that curry is the British national dish. I'm Italian and don't complain that many dishes I watch on here are not authentic enough! And anyway English food is one big pot of different flavours and ideas, due to all the wonderful cultures that make it so diverse!
