the pattern is easy but i get confused because whats written on the screen, whats being said, and what you are doing are all different. there’s points where you skip stitches or insert at a different place from what you said to do so its very confusing on what we’re supposed to do. i tried to just figure it out and was able to follow along but maybe keep what i mentioned in mind for future tutorials

This pattern is so cute! However i do have an issue when trying it. Ive noticed your star lays flat where's mine starts to curl in on its self. At first i thought i had too tight tension when stiching but ive corrected it and still the same results. If you know what im doing wrong im all ears (◍•ᴗ•◍)
for this project, does yarning over or under make a difference? i've heard yarning under makes stitches tighter, but i've never done it for a project and i noticed that you did in this video

Try blocking it! This can happen with lots of projects even if your tension isn't wrong, blocking it will neaten the whole look of the bag
