I’m confused because in this video the star has 5 rounds and the moon and sun patterns I bought have 4 so wouldn’t the moon and sun need an extra round not the star

Thank you for this pattern! It is super easy to follow and is super cute. I bought your sun and moon pattern and I am going to make a cute cushion cover with them!
I bought the 4 pack of the patterns of the star, moon, sun, and cloud on your Etsy shop! It may be where you're joining the end of each part of the star. I kept messing up and miscounting the 2 stitches that i needed to skip, so mine's a little wonky too
I think I have the exact same issue. Like a circle with too many stitches, mine is wobbly too. I have the correct number of stiches though, I redid it 3 times already 😭 Other then that, nice to follow tutorial. I like the diagrams!
Thank you so much this was such a good tutorial and loved how you explained even the little things, ive been searching for a good tutorial to make a bag and after 6 frustrating attempts ive finally succeeded with this one 🙏

I just bought the sun and moon pattern today and, being a visual learner, this really helped me to understand the stitches in those as well as making the star too! It's only the 2nd thing I've ever crocheted so I'm still getting used to what the stitches are 🙈
I bought the sun and moon pattern, just an idea but maybe you could make a paid video tutorial for those two! Either way loved the pattern and it sized up with a weight 4 yarn perfectly :) Tysm!

I'm pretty new to crochet and a visual learner so I prefer video tutorials to patterns. Thanks so much for posting this one! Are you able to make a video for your moon and sun patterns and maybe sell it with the pattern or something?
That is a great idea that I will definitely think about trying to incorporate with the written patterns :). I try to make my written patterns have as many photos/diagrams as possible as I am also a visual learner and never read a pattern for the longest time either haha
Hi!! I love your tutorial for this star! I’m making a Dallas Cowboy blanket for my husband and another for his best friend.. both die hard fans!! Could you give me your stitch counts after the star is complete? Before starting the darker blue to make the granny square? I would appreciate you so very much!! Thank you for an awesome star!!!🧶❤️🤠
I end up not being able to perfect the fourth round because the round ends in 2 double crochet so the remaining 1 hdc and 3sc don't fit there anymore. Pls send advise on how I can do it. I followed everything from rounds 1-3 :'((
Hi! For the corners on round 4, are you placing both triple crochets in the same stitch? If not, that is the only thing I can think of for maybe why you are 4 stitches short without seeing what you have. Let me know if that helps or not so I can try to figure out another reason why that is happening! Thanks!
this was awesome, thank you!! ive never done a crochet project before, I barely know the names of the stitches, but with this video I was able to make two pretty decent looking squares! i even think ill be able to follow the patterns now that I kinda have the basics down. and since I know they have photos. this probably wasn't meant to be someones introduction to crochet, but oop, there it is. and these patterns inspired me and now I gotta make a blanket like the one I saw on tumblr. probably not something someone would recommend as a first crochet project, but oh well
I have a question, well the first one i did its exactly how its supposed to be but i did my second (I did exactly every step) and its round (not a square hows supposed to be) 😂😅 idk what did i do wrong tbt

Im a bit confused, not sure if you could help. I bought your patterns for the other two (sun and moon) ive been following your bag pattern but with moons and stars instead. This star pattern does not match the size of the squares for the bag, it kind of matched for the small drawstring pouch because it has one less round. How can I make this star pattern to work with your hand bag pattern? Do i add an extra round of double crochets or hdc? I will keep experimenting with it. Ive made so many of these squares so far and im having a lot of fun with it so thank you for sharing!

These are adorable! I'm making this, but I also would REALLY love if you could tell me how to make this as a 10" star square.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but my star comes out crooked. It’s not two points down like yours is. My counts are 11 on each side for a total of 44. I am baffled.
Beautiful pattern. Thank you for sharing and making this tutorial.
Hmmm, I am not sure then without seeing what you have - I'm sorry!
@@AlyssiaCreates anyway to post a picture?
@@LittleKaori same!! did you figure it out?
Thank you so much this was such a good tutorial and loved how you explained even the little things, ive been searching for a good tutorial to make a bag and after 6 frustrating attempts ive finally succeeded with this one 🙏
I am so happy to hear that - thank you for your kind words !❤
love this so much!! plzz do a tutorial for the sun and moon🥰
I have spent hours trying to figure out a star and eventually I made only moons on my blanket and I just finished it hahahahh and NOW you upload this XD What timing! Thank you though! I will definitely try it
I am sorry!! that really is crazy timing though. 😅 Well, I hope this tutorial is helpful for any future projects you may do :)
@@AlyssiaCreates hahaha nooo it's just very ironic XD thank you! I think I will ^^
I just bought the sun and moon pattern today and, being a visual learner, this really helped me to understand the stitches in those as well as making the star too! It's only the 2nd thing I've ever crocheted so I'm still getting used to what the stitches are 🙈
That’s awesome!! I hope you enjoy the patterns - thank you! 😊
Excellent video. Thanks a million
omg I'm so happy I found your channel, I love the sun and moon granny squares and this is such a perfect addition to that collection!!

Thank you for sharing!
For anyone who wants free moon and sun patterns: Moon granny square pattern by Kristine's Day on youtube will fit this pattern, and for the sun pattern, knotting hook crochet has a really nice sun pattern that will also fit these.
Thank you so much for the great tutorial, it was so easy to follow and very clear with the diagrams😍👍👍
Thank you for sharing this pattern! It's very cute
Thank you so much they are beautiful!❤
I hope that this doesn't come off as rude or anything but I have autism and most tutorials are really hard for me to follow but this one was so easy!! thank you so much, I want to make a cardigan with these squares
(btw your voice is really nice)
Thank you so much!! I am really glad that you found this video to be helpful :) A cardigan would be awesome!
Beautiful work! Thank you for the easy to follow directions!
I would love a more detailed explanation of the different types of stitches!
Great tutorial! I would love to see more from you :)
Awesome tutorial! I'll be working on this today!
@AlyssiaCreates that would be awesome if you could! Hahaha thanks for understanding my dilemma 😅and Thanks for replying!!
Super helpful, thank you so much!
Amazing Tutorial ❤

She has those patterns for sale on her esty
Are there any video tutorial for the sun and moons? I am visually impaired and it’s helpful to have the audio with it. Thank you!
omg thank you so much this was so easy to follow❤❤
It would be really lovely if you would do tutorials on the moon and sun ones too
I end up not being able to perfect the fourth round because the round ends in 2 double crochet so the remaining 1 hdc and 3sc don't fit there anymore.
Thanks!
Will you make a tutorial for the sun one?
this was awesome, thank you!! ive never done a crochet project before, I barely know the names of the stitches, but with this video I was able to make two pretty decent looking squares! i even think ill be able to follow the patterns now that I kinda have the basics down. and since I know they have photos.
this probably wasn't meant to be someones introduction to crochet, but oop, there it is. and these patterns inspired me and now I gotta make a blanket like the one I saw on tumblr. probably not something someone would recommend as a first crochet project, but oh well
this is such a cool and cleverly thought-out pattern! thank you so much for sharing; these are very fun to make :))
Thank you so much!!
So beatiful and nice to learn with you, thank so much 🙏🌟🙏🌟🙏🌟🙏🌟🙏
Excellent!😃
Thanks for the amazing work ♥️
But can you make a video for the moon one too, thank u 💗
I have a question, well the first one i did its exactly how its supposed to be but i did my second (I did exactly every step) and its round (not a square hows supposed to be) 😂😅 idk what did i do wrong tbt

Wonderful pattern thank you so much for the tutorial, however I have now come to realize how much I hate triple crochet
Can you make a vid for the moon and sun ones? I’m a visual learner and don’t know how to follow written patterns yet 😅
How big do the squares end up being? I'm trying to math out a blanket lol
Thank you for your wonderful patterns! I was wondering are your patterns for personal use only or are people able to sell items made with your patterns if they credit you? Many thanks
Every time I make this I end up with 53 stitches all together. I have no idea what I’m going wrong. Part from that it’s a good pattern
Thank you! Do you have a video for the other half moon and sun?
