The poppy flower is a symbol of the martyr's sacrifice (Fida'i, Shahid, or Istishhadi) embedded in the land. The poppy is the domi- nant Palestinian spring flower that children normally collect from the hillside. The flower carries different names in different regions of Palestine. I've done it with a green surround instead of blue - Palestinian colours.

it's a stop - motion, you knit a few stitches and then you take a photo on the same spot over and over and then you make that a video
