It’s so funny to me watching Anthony trying to understand all of these speedrunning tips and tricks that I have been so accustomed to over the years. As someone who speedran Mario Odyssey for a couple of years, it’s very surreal to see Small Ant try to explain the Wet Nut glitch to Anthony
As someone who enjoyed their friendly rivalry, I was deeply saddened when I heard fans took it way too far and tarnished their friendship. So glad to see them back on speaking terms. I only hope their fans have since matured.

Cool to have our (little, niche) community featured like this. What wasn't said here and I find kinda worth acknowledging is that speedrunning is one way to get more replay value out of games that you like that you'd otherwise kinda play through and then disregard (for many years). With or without researching fast tactics, glitches and whatnot.
This is what I like about games like Superliminal that lean into speed as a replay aspect, especially considering some (like Superliminal) have barely any replay value past the first re-run for the extra collectibles and whatnot.

These two recently livestreamed a Pokemon map randomizer where they were working TOGETHER- meanwhile, a map randomizer race AGAINST each other was considered the nail in the coffin of their friendship. It was such a lovely way to come full circle and demonstrate their repaired relationship. Their comedic chemistry is also top notch, so it was just a plain old great time, even if you don’t know that history.
Man seeing them sitting next to each other is so good to see, regardless of if they collaborate in the future it’s just really good to know that the tensions between them are mending somewhat
the world is healing 🫶🏻 these guys’ channels blew up during covid and the content they created together was a lot of fun to watch, as well as twitter interactions etc. their communities grew together because of their similar content but whenever they’d do a speedrun race or any other kind of competitive content, the community would pit them against each other which didn’t end when the stream did. whenever Smallant, being the larger streamer, won a race, viewers would turn negative towards Pointcrow to the point of bullying for losing. so instead of friendly competition for content creation, the combination of similar content, competition and lockdown turned into a situation where Pointcrow was set into a negative light for ‘copying’ ideas. I’d start feeling some sort of resentment too if I kept hearing I was a worse version of someone else. thank you Anthony for picking these two to represent the speedrunning community and making it known that the air is cleared. I’m looking forward to what they may come up with in the future! I think for gaming content Pointcrow and Smallant would actually make a really great team!
One of the few beefs where i was actively watching both parties, it's just so nice to see the both of them mature emotionally in their own ways and take the steps to properly communicate with each other. I hope that experience has given them the know-how to navigate any misgivings with any other content creators
MAN I would love I Spent A Day With Challenge Runners or something like that. There are so many people who don't necessarily play games FAST but still in very precise and adaptable ways. No-hit, randomizers, nuzlockes... There are so many insane ways to play games

I'm really glad that PointCrow reached out and they talked it out privately. Something in their fight deeply touched something in me because it resembled a situation that I had been in that really fucked me over. PointCrow "doing" that to Smallant was like I was getting hurt by that person all over again. Hearing that he (and Smallant too of course) grew and realised better where both of them were _actually_ wrong and being able to talk it through and come to a peaceful end together is really healing.
This was by far my favorite video from the channel, this was very refreshing to watch and it brought a smile to my face knowing that things are good now.
Eric is such a gem, it's his personality that makes me want to watch his videos. He knows how to make you smile from the first line and keeps you smiling the whole time.

I’m so appreciative that not only are they both mature about their apologies, they also don’t blame the fans. The people commenting had no way of knowing the bigger picture, so holding them responsible for what happened doesn’t achieve anything. Seeing SmallAnt and PointCrow simply take responsibility for their own words and actions gives me hope for internet drama.
Listening to both of them discuss their falling out and the rebuilding of their relationship...these two sound like the most sane people on the planet. Glad to see there's no more beef between Smant and Pointcrow, I always enjoyed watching both of them. Although I've fallen off a lot from both, since my interest have shifted, it feels much better to know that they can still just sit in a room together and hang out like friends, without all the beef holding them back.

Seeing Pointcrow talk about the Bullet Time glitchy shield jump reminds me of Boba skip in Metal Gear Solid. Boba is a variety streamer who accidently glitched her way through a door that speedrunners had been wondering if they could glitch through for years, then they had to basically work backwards and find out how she ended up doing it.

No wait why did i actually sh*t my self when i saw them together, my jaw dropped. this video was the biggest relief ever. seeing smant break down on stream was heart breaking to me, especially because i'm a long time fan of smant. i really caused me to rethink if i could support either of those creators because of the toxcisity of there fan base. Awesome to see them both back together! I remember when the beef happened thinking something along the lines of, "for once I can actually see both sides here, only thing I can't agree with is making it more public than it needed to be". That's also why I always had hope they could make up some day, especially since they were both constantly reiterating during the beef that they didn't want their audiences picking sides and harassing the other person. Regardless, I imagine the time apart was probably necessary for them both to grow, kinda similar to Ian and Anthony, and same as Ian and Anthony, I'm just happy to see 'em on good terms again :)

PointCrow "doing" that to Smallant was like I was getting hurt by that person all over again. Hearing that he (and Smallant too of course) grew and realised better where both of them were _actually_ wrong and being able to talk it through and come to a peaceful end together is really healing.

This was by far my favorite video from the channel, this was very refreshing to watch and it brought a smile to my face knowing that things are good now.

Eric is such a gem, it's his personality that makes me want to watch his videos. He knows how to make you smile from the first line and keeps you smiling the whole time.

Those two are such a good duo. Eric has the biggest smile on his face at all times and is a bit cartoonish, and Tanner is really chill and stoic.

Eric feels more 'extroverted' than Tanner if that makes sense. Even the path they took in their RUclips careers shows that, PointCrow went on a more open route, making videos beyond gaming while Smallant... didn't.

From FearsomeFire beef to CJYA beef. Finally ditching the 1 and capitalizing the "A" in ant. I would consider myself your biggest fan. Keep on with the work and the incredible amount of effort you put into every video and challenge.

I’m so appreciative that not only are they both mature about their apologies, they also don’t blame the fans. The people commenting had no way of knowing the bigger picture, so holding them responsible for what happened doesn’t achieve anything. Seeing SmallAnt and PointCrow simply take responsibility for their own words and actions gives me hope for internet drama.

Glad to see there's no more beef between Smant and Pointcrow, I always enjoyed watching both of them. Although I've fallen off a lot from both, since my interest have shifted, it feels much better to know that they can still just sit in a room together and hang out like friends, without all the beef holding them back.

Seeing Pointcrow talk about the Bullet Time glitchy shield jump reminds me of Boba skip in Metal Gear Solid. Boba is a variety streamer who accidently glitched her way through a door that speedrunners had been wondering if they could glitch through for years, then they had to basically work backwards and find out how she ended up doing it.

No wait why did i actually sh*t my self when i saw them together, my jaw dropped. this video was the biggest relief ever. seeing smant break down on stream was heart breaking to me, especially because i'm a long time fan of smant. i really caused me to rethink if i could support either of those creators because of the toxcisity of there fan base. I'm so proud of both of them for working past there differences, i applaud crow for stepping up and apologizing, and i'm so proud that smant relized that he fed up to. they are both amazing creators and what happened was no ones fault ❤Back when they were still beefing i never ever thought i would ever see them in the same room again and it was so frustrating that other people kept fing up the things that i loved, but seeing them in the same room just shows how far they’ve come. from fighting and crying on stream and telling there audience they would never speak again, to being real adults and sitting next to each other in the same room. i never relised how much i missed the pointcrows grama jokes. Awesome to see them both back together! I remember when the beef happened thinking something along the lines of, "for once I can actually see both sides here, only thing I can't agree with is making it more public than it needed to be". That's also why I always had hope they could make up some day, especially since they were both constantly reiterating during the beef that they didn't want their audiences picking sides and harassing the other person. Regardless, I imagine the time apart was probably necessary for them both to grow, kinda similar to Ian and Anthony, and same as Ian and Anthony, I'm just happy to see 'em on good terms again :)
