"unadaptable"
More like a general lack of interest, this shit is absolutely magnificent
The smoothness of the animation added to the still panels and the added frames to emulate actual movement, the sound design and the voice acting, all just absotutely perfect
Exactly nothing is unadaptable , Berserk was made by a human , an adaptation can be made too. Its not beyond anyones reach. Businesses or Studios just dont care.
@@Moody.Smiruai "unadaptable" berserk looks good and cool in b&W that's whats it means
Well they're using the manga and give them movement, and i bet is more harder to draw everything again
@@Nombrenooriginal i love you
@@FroggypondVideos not now honey the comments are watching
Awesome voice acting. I love how Guts scream isn't the scream of a typical shonen powerhouse charging up for an attack, its the scream of a man who faces death and has to fight for his life, a scream of anger and hatred of his circumstances
Indeed, that's what makes him more man and interesting, despite tragic character
I love how this actor sounds similar to Marc DiRaison from the 97 anime, with a little hint of David Hayter (Solid Snake)
Love how this goes above and beyond despite technically being a motion comic. Most motion comics just show panels with limited movements. This straight up is an amazingly solid animation, every Berserk fan's ideal adaptation!!
Agreed, I can see why this took so long to make. Every movement, Every Frame, every digital effect is done with a loving touch that few can really match.
Agreed. Especially since it is straight up Miura's art.
Companys and animators should really do a Comic motion like this instead of a anime like the 2016/17 Version. Ong this would be so much better
My dissapointment was immeasurable when i find out motion comics are not really animated
I agree but what's the point of carrying on all this work when 4 episodes have been released in 5 years?
bro casually dropped the best berserk content we've gotten in years 💀
i bet your brain looks like swiss cheese
I will gladly wait for another 2 years. Quality over quantity!
Exactly! Burnout is a hell of a problem when so much hard work and effort goes into these. Quality should always be above quantity.
I do agree but I want to see the next part SOOOOOO bad lol

It is so incredibly sad there wont ever be another one, but even these two episodes were an amazing work of art, and an amazing way to sell berserk to friends! They shoukd hire them for an offical adaption
No, Studio Taka has 4 episodes. These 2 episodes and 2 other episodes. Please check the playlist.

This isn't a motion comic anymore. Its a full motion anime at this point, GOD DAMN this is good

The flashback to Griffith saying "You belong to me." That gave me chills. I never noticed that parallel before.

Fan animations have been great but this motion comic series is my favourite. Thank you for all the hard work.
Same bro
Honestly just love the fact that multiple creators are making solid fan adaptations at the same time. Really goes to show how big the love for the franchise is. Back when I got into the series ages ago we just had to accept the 2016 adaptation as the only adaptation to go beyond the golden age arc. Now is probably the best time to be a Berserk fan ngl
i think this is also the one that started all the high quality adaptations. Truly the goats
I love Guts' acting. This could be the voice I think of when I read from now on.
I thought the same!
Damn right
This voice is not bad at all but Marc Diairson is the G.O.A.T when it comes to Guts
Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate that. Poured a lot into the performance. 🦾 - EyeCabal
Eyecabal has the perfect voice for it. It's exactly how 97 OVA Guts sounds in my memory
This is it, two years of hard work paying off, THIS is the definitive adaptation of Berserk, genuinely made me tear up watching this guys, incredible work.
Okay the animation and voice acting is straight up getting better and better with each episode. This is fucking incredible. This series will truly carve its own place in Berserk history.
Thank you ❤
I kinda preferred Puck's cadence in the previous episodes if that makes sense. Still love the voice actor playing him though he does a really good job.
@@Dreadmantisthe2nd a lot of that was because episode 3 was the "comedic beats" episode 4 Puck goes more serious. If you watch it as one continuous episode it has quite a dramativ effect!
Don't worry, silly Puck will be back 😄

WOAH it takes TIME for things to be MADE? WOAH, DUDE, WHAT A SHOCKER, WOW!
If you're seriously complaining about the lengths it takes for this to be made, go ahead and watch the 2016 and 2017 versions of Berserk, because that's what you get when you rush things - uninteresting and disappointing material. Nobody likes how it turned out - not the people who watched it, and definitely not the people who dedicated portions of their lives trying to adapt it.
Spend a little time on your own creating something and you'll quickly realize how much of a toll it takes on you - or you can just sit on your ass and complain about free entertainment without having to do anything to get it, sort of like what're you're doing now.
This is no longer a motion comic. It's an all out anime, and a damn good one. I could watch an entire season of this in one sitting and I would still crave for more like an addict craving for drugs. This project is the proof that good content can be made in a tight budget as long as the crew involved is truly dedicated. Great job.
I really want this arc to be finished within my lifetime but it's probably not going to happen. Still appreciate the work you guys do.

2:40 Crazy how a moving still image can make me feel more weight than anything Berserk 2016 put out. Props, you guys are geniuses!
Your adaptation nails the tone of Berserk like no professional studio has ever managed to.
Gut’s Black Swordsman Arc, so fucking beautiful and so fucking tragic.
Wow. Simply amazing. The soundtrack, the voice acting, the animation, I’m simply blown away, this one adaptation in a single chapter felt more emotional than the entire anime. The voice acting and animation puts this in a league above the movies.
First, i thought that Studio Taka would stop making these motion comics, but... I really got a slap in the face in the end.
Sadly they still might, the way the series is losing views is not a good sign

You know, I really thought that this Motion Comic series would remain unfinished, but I’m happy that it’s continuing. It’s still slightly disappointing that these are taking so long to come out and that this one was only 12 minutes, but they’re so freaking awesome.
Quality over quantity. I have a feeling everything is hand drawn/traced to allow them to then put motion to individual pieces. Not entirely sure HOW it works but with taking so long I can only figure that they have to hand draw everything into place and then animate the motions necessary. Voice overs also take alot of time because you need to make sure everything is feeling right. Berserk 2016 is proof of what happens when talented people are forced to put something together without feedback or quality checks.
@@moviemaker2011z from what I recall, some things are just easy easy as cutting then animating off skeletons, but then you see them using rotoscoped 3D from 2016, and all the facial animations are hand drawn. It looks like this one even had done original 3D animation that was rotoscoped over but I could be wrong.
@@SouthwesternScourgeMedia that is possible. All I know for certain is that the people working on this are very talented and that I am that kful for their dedication. Miura would be proud I'm sure.

wow, the fighting animations just got better. The title card is so beautifully done. Like the way Guts knife throwing was animated and how at 2:58 where he moves his sword like that makes it harder to believe this was made by fans and not an animation studio. The choice of melancholic music, when we find out Collete got possessed, is perfect. And the way Guts' mental breakdown was perfectly animated and voiced is jaw-dropping. This was definitely worth the wait. This makes me so excited for guardians of desire. Please keep making more of this. This will forever be the best-animated adaptation of the black swordsman arc.
PERFECTION guys. This is totally beyond my expectations.
If Miura was still alive, I'm sure he'd be proud to see this.
Another masterpiece.
You guys continue to improve, and improve, and improve.
I am, and I will be incredibly grateful for every episode you put out.
People call Berserk "unadaptable", but this is THE proof that they're wrong.
As I've said again and again, what it takes to adapt this series, is an incredible respect and understanding of the source material. And you delivered once again.
Thank you.
This is not just fan work! This is straight up art! Your team has pulled off what was once seen as impossible, become possible! Sick OUTRO! IT’S METAL JUST AS THE ENTIRE MANGA SERIES IS! I want to give props to your voice actor for Guts again! He replied to my comment years ago on the second episode. Dude you have true talent capturing the grudge, the grit, and tone of his character. Your sound design, soundtrack, and animators all deserve the best payday possible for crafting this masterpiece. I’m an aspiring author. If I had the money to fund you guys enough to progress even better than the two-year wait I’d do it in a heartbeat!
Hey I'll reply here too, thank you for the kind words man! You rock 🦾 - EyeCabal
9:13 was such a sick moment you made event better - Thank you, Studio Taka
Eyecabal, i have no words. You and the entire team are just incredible
His version of Guts is also much closer to the voice I imagine for Guts whenever I read the manga than the anime versions of the character ever were. I always thought Guts would have a certain amount of gravel in his voice, especially after the Eclipse. No one's vocal cords can survive that much animalistic screaming without some major damage.
From EyeCabal:
Thank you so much guys. That means a lot 🦾
@StudioTakaMC No, thank you. We're just sitting here watching what you guys spent years of your lives working on. The time and effort shows, from the broad strokes down to the smallest details. You and your team should all be proud of how far this project has come, and while I can only speak for myself, I think this project is one worthy of Miura's legacy. Keep up the outstanding work!
Another BANGER episode. These motion comics are my favourite fan made Berserk thing
I have watched this particular episode multiple times by now and really feel I need to say this. This is by far the episode with the most quality in all aspects and the progress these guys made is astonishing. Also, some people compare this adaptation to other fan made ones and I want to point out that although you really can't compare it to others, as this one is a motion comic, Studio Taka is the ONLY ONE that really captured the aura of Berserk, from voice acting, to music, to sound design, to ambience and the difference is huge. Animation is one thing, putting out something that is ACTUALLY CINEMATIC is a whole other universe. Well done Studio Taka.
Thank you!
If there ever was an example of the expression: ¨best of the best¨ This would be it! Thank you guys, I have no words!
I’ve noticed how each episode just gets better and better, how different this episode is with the first is Bizarre and shows how everyone at Studio Taka has improved and that is incredible and just absolutely magnificent. This video has definitely been the highest quality so far and absolutely excited to see more!
The animators, voice actors, sound designers and musicians were absolutely stunning and have delivered something amazing once again but I have to say such a massive thank you to EyeCable.
You truly boosted the quality of the vids since you came to the project since episode 2, as a director, voice actor, editor and lyric writer you are incredibly talented and I thank you so so much for your work on these episodes.
From EyeCabal:
Sir, first off, thank you for your kind words. That was really touching. I hope my work on Episode 5 lives up to your expectations.
This... Is... GLORIOUS!!!
5:30 just WOW!
The love and care shown in every frame is outstanding. I watched every minute.
This is professional level quality and the caliber that a berserk adaptation deserves. Been watching this channel since before the first episode and I’m so happy to see it continued.
Holy shit. Not only is every episode getting every better than the last, I think what's most amazing is seeing how comfortably your team seems to be sliding into this show's style. The voice acting is spectacular, the sound editing is phenomenal, the animation is doing an impressive job at straddling the line between respecting and showcasing the source material's beauty while adapting it to an animated form...It's crazy, but even though you guys have come such a long way it doesn't even feel like you've hit your stride yet.
Please keep making these videos! This is such a unique experience I haven't seen anywhere else!
FINALY!I've been waiting for long to watch this masterpiece!!!
Yeah, as everyone here says, this "Motion Comic"(more like an full animation animation) is really amazing and we can all see the amount of work that was put into it. Well done!!
I never take the time to comment or like a RUclips video, but this deserves every recommendation.
You guys/galls have captured and stay true to the source.
The voice acting, animations and music in this, is a master piece and a great homage to the best manga ever!
High praise for everyone involved in this and even if I have to wait an other year for the next episode, I will be eagerly waiting!
Please please PLEASE never abandon this project and I hope you will go on to the very end!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! The animation, direction and music capture the beautiful darkness of the black swordsman perfectly. Phenomenal job to everyone involved!!
Godssss this is so good!!!!!
Thank goodness I got a like on one of my comments on another video and it brought me back to see this!!!!!!! New release!!!! Whooho!!!
There’s just so much more animation, you’ve added. I am in awe of your technical skill and artistic vision. You know when to use movement and when to have noise and when you use silence. That moment Guts cleaved her was so powerfully tragic.
Kudos to the voice acting team as well. Especially Guts’ voice, actor and his performance on the crushing the ants line.
The berserk adaptation of all berserk adaptations. The one and only, the carrier of the heart and soul of berserk. I cannot thank studio taka enough. Absolutely phenomenal work. The character acting of Guts is absolutely astounding and perfect. Hearing and seeing him emote (in his microscopic ways lmao) just adds this whole new depth of tragedy and weight.
Also holy shit the casca voice clip and the glimpse of the eclipse was so foul oml (foul in a heart breaking and tear jerking way lolll) astounding job to everyone involved I want to kiss you all on the mouth
Impresionante! Hace no mucho vi los otros 3, y me fascinan! Es literalmente el manga animado! Una locura!!
You guys are the best thing to happen to Berserk since the manga itself. I wish you made more, but I know that incredible work like this requires an immense amount of time. Please never stop making these!
with this episode you guys have very well surpassed both the anime and the manga itself.
You,ve added so much depth to this chapter and might have captured 110% what Miura might have wanted to portray.
the feelings are portrayed immaculately and the animation from this episode is top notch you can really see the improvement.
You guys did a great job, be proud of yourselves ! :D

As someone who suffers from crippling chronic pain and battles with sever metal illness everyday I truly feel as if I am cursed to always suffer but watching Guts always seems to lift my spirits because he reminds me that no matter what you have to keep fighting regardless of the cruelty and unfairness of life.
This is going to take ages to adapt... AND I'M HERE WATCHING EVERY ONE OF THESE Keep going please!!!
This has once again exceeded my expectations. This was amazing guys. You keep proving if you guys were given a chance, with more help and a bigger team this studio has the capability of animating the entire manga. It was meant to be this way honestly, it would be historical if Berserk became the first anime (if not, one of the first) to be animated in full manga style black and white. It would be perfection.
Wow, I already had high expectations going into this episode but you guys blew it out of the water! The voice acting, fluild animation, and how you framed and transitioned between panels was spectacular.
Something has been on my mind. I like the fact that there's not so much official content for berserk. Because fans are starting to create materials for the fans. Lots of motion manga and fan animations. When something is made by the fans, its from the heart, because they go the extra mile with their free time, paid or not. It's so cool, to see someone use their time for their passion. Epic. I'm sure miura is very proud of these studios in creation just to animate berserk stuff. Who knows, maybe one day someone from dark horse will have you team with them? Never know.
This is by far you're greatest animation by far, and the release date matching the time for the solar eclipse was perfect. Thank you ❤
Now, hopefully, we aren't waiting for the next solar eclipse before getting the next episode.

That little snippet from when Guts came to the rescue just to find his companion but ends up having to slaughter several Holy Iron Chain Knights was well drawn and animated. Love it.
Greatest motion comic ever made, this deserves to be official
This is out of this world. Unfortunately everything has an end. RIP. Not every project has a happy ending. I bet all those involved in this masterpiece wanted to pursue another end. All those dreams... illusions... hope... which could not be fullfilled... We won't be able to see it anymore. It was too good to be true.
Absolutely love the attention to detail on this ep, especially at 2:51 where we get a panel straight from conviction blending perfectly in this scenario, rly sells out the idea of seeing Guts fight and wonder who's the real beast?
Incredible work as always, 5:00 was really well done, all the efforts are clearly visible, so much work put into every episode, love to the entire production team ❤️

Worth the wait! The animation and drawing is leagues ahead 1, 2, and 3. Every voice did a good job as always.
WE GONNA MAKE IT OUT OF THE ECLIPSE WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥
12 minutes of animations with humble budget with gigantic step up since the last time, and as always it perfectly captures the feeling of watching Berserk way more than most of the big productions who made the movies and the 2016 series. If only you had the budget to make it with a consistent releases, this would be absolutely perfect more than it already is. Big props and kudos for you guys! i legit had chills watching it!
This is amazing.Love everything about this. You capture his rage so well. I really like how you upped the tension before Collete stabbed him, Guts allowed it to happen, he was suffering from the trauma of his own childhood, as well as killing Adonis, he wanted to be hurt I think.
I can't put into words how happy I am that this is back
9:14 chills
Whoever does the voice acting for guts is on tier or better than Marc Diraison. They both are able to show the raw emotion for guts and understand him as a character. Everything about this project is amazing, better than most adaptations we have and probably will get. Keep up the passion and creativity
I’m so glad this series finally has a voice outside of the manga that really captures what made the manga so amazing
This was absolutely a perfect example of how an adaptation SHOULD be handled, love and care are necessary in making sure the audience receives the product well. If you just force it you get berserk 2016 which is a dumpster fire that makes people vomit anytime they see it. THIS however makes people fucking faint due to overloading the excitement a single person can withstand. What im trying to say is that studio taka is absolutely nailing every single thing about berserk and while i have nothing but respect for the original studio now in charge of berserk, i honestly think taka is doing a better job at capturing the raw feeling of berserk at its core. Not to say that the post miora chapters arent good or anything, but you can tell there was a tonal shift in a sense. These guys here though have the nitty gritty down pat! See you all in another two years or so, super excited for the next one!
This and SweetHeartist's Animation? Truly an eclipse to be celebrated
I love how the nuance of somewhat muffling Puck's voice in 4:42 indicates how Guts is dissociated by the horror of seeing a possessed dead Collette, whom Guts developed a soft side for. Man, that is tragic! Good job, Studio Taka!!!
This gave me chills!!!
