Dark sector wasn’t mediocre or forgettable.. one of the best cover shooters of the time. Interesting world and story, dope weapon, good gameplay. Multiplayer was unnecessary but probably only bothered us who was achievement hunting.
I think it was heavily underrated. It had a good (not great) story, fun gameplay, and cool systems and things to change and play with. The one downfall was the bad enemies. There was a couple that were just annoying to deal with and many people just couldn’t get past that. I think if it released today it would do a lot better. It was definitely ahead of its time
Resident Evil 6 was very fun and enjoyable. I like the movement mechanics in it. 😏 Anthem looks like Halo, Vanquish, Destiny, and Iron Man combined. Remember Me was a fun game, and it was ahead of its time. I love the memory manipulation mechanic a lot!!
Ok, here are a few of my answers. I haven't played or explored all the games on this list, so you're free to agree or disagree with me. Also, I may have gone a bit overboard in my choices. Vampire Rain - the idea that the heavy downpour hinders the vampires' abilities, so you can perform an extensive stealth military operation. Obscure - the idea that to weaken the creatures you need light and as the game goes on the sun starts to set. You need to find flashlights and attach them via duct tape to your guns. Also, the permadeath mechanic; if a character dies you can't use them or their abilities for the rest of the game. The Surge - the soulslike where you target limbs and parts to cut off from enemy bots to take and add to your armour. Biomutant - the character customization mechanics and difference in enemy design. Dark Void - the jet pack mechanics were a good addition, but the rest of the game wasn't great. Rise of Nightmares - you use the Kinect and body motions to fight zombies. Good idea, bad execution. Superman Returns: The Game - the flight mechanics and the city's health meter were good ideas, as well as the idea that Superman is so powerful he doesn't have a health bar. It captures the idea of taking care of the city. Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions - the freezing mechanic that will kill you if it gets too low, and the search for heat sources to stay alive. UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System - good workout with an mma edge to it, but poor execution. Silent Hill Shattered Memories - you're in a therapy session and your answers determine the kinds of creatures and horrors you face.
What were you guys thinking? You made a list of "terrible" games, but you included some that are seriously underrated! (Yes, I’m looking at you, Resident Evil 6 and Remember Me.)
I played king kong on ps2 it also had no hud along with the health regenerating and being represented by the screen turning dark red he also called out the how much ammo you have. The way it worked is you press a button to hear him say it. It also had a weird mechanic where you look at the side characters and request a weapon their holding they'll trade you if your holding one while doing so.
I literally just bought the game mind Jack a few months ago, I've been asking all over the place if anybody has ever heard of this, and this is the first video game list that I've seen mentioning this game, being able to jump from person to person while one person is dying is a great concept
I actually enjoyed anthem quite a bit, there was just no proper endgame and it was buggy and never got patched, had bioware given it the proper love it deserved it might still be a thing today
Though not a mediocre game at all, but definitely overlooked. The detective sections in Arkham Origins. Knight had like 2 parts like that, but Origins had whole side missions using it if I remember correctly.
Darksiders used the glaive too As well as being a weapon in DS3 Sad part is that darksiders is an underrated and unappreciated franchise Its publisher died and the new owners would make 10 souls clones than bother with a new one Here is hoping we get to see DS4 with strife and a compelling conclusion with the final game
@@Mustafa_9628 with the reveal i think it said they will announce more at gamescom. Both other projects and announced games. I'm certain we'll see something of darksiders.
I liked dark sector. It mightve been the first game I played after eventually getting ps3. If I could switch it I'd say the time powers in singularity. It had such a cool idea but the game never really put you in a situation where it really felt cool. And a time manipulation game with only one ending is a big miss too
Trespasser looks like a VR game. Not only because of the arm and head movement, but also the small pace to avoid nausia, and the poor graphics looks like it's an early VR adaptor or a smaller studio trying to cash in on the VR craze. Maybe it should be rereleased in VR?
Re6 movement is one of the things I disliked in the game it feels clunky the character gives one or two more steps after y stop and this game is the only one with the fall mechanic I just hated the characters falling so easily
I liked "Fracture " is was not a bad game for the time ,considering there is lot lame ass games that overrated .in Nerd County that have put me to sleep playing them ,maybe seems that is with all shooters in general ,Since the lame ass series known as Call of Duty is the same generic boring shooting over and over again .

WHAT?!? You did not just call Remember Me a terrible game. It's one of my all-time favorite games, and it's an extremely underrated game
Dark sector wasn’t mediocre or forgettable.. one of the best cover shooters of the time. Interesting world and story, dope weapon, good gameplay. Multiplayer was unnecessary but probably only bothered us who was achievement hunting.
Peter Jackson's King Kong also used no hud. So Jack had to rely on him calling out how many rounds he had left and getting hit, usually meant death.
Yes but that isn't a terrible game but an underrated gem deserving a remake
@@kizaruthegreat yeah it's just difficult at some times wasn't like the shooters we had at the time
Remember Me is a solid game! Great mechanics, but calling it a terrible game? Not a chance.
Easily one of the most underrated games of all-time. It's amazing!
I loved it... but it wasn't well done at all. Was just unique
I think it was heavily underrated. It had a good (not great) story, fun gameplay, and cool systems and things to change and play with. The one downfall was the bad enemies. As flawed as 'Dark Sector' was, I thought it was fun? 🤷
Even you are questioning your statement
@@xPTKx37 ...it was rhetorical in nature...
@@xPTKx37 for some reason, people us question marks for statements these days
Dark Sector is a fun decent game
It is a great game, the boss fights are my only real problem with it, I’m still stuck on the second boss.
Resident Evil 6 was very fun and enjoyable. I like the movement mechanics in it. 😏
Anthem looks like Halo, Vanquish, Destiny, and Iron Man combined.
Remember Me was a fun game, and it was ahead of its time. I love the memory manipulation mechanic a lot!!
Remember me is a terrible game ? wtf it's a solid game
I like my favorite unusual video game mechanics or mechanic on the PS3 or on the PS4 like Movement Resident Evil 6
I liked Remember Me and Inversion , I had fun so that is all that matters, I would play it again
Gravity rush series also uses gravity manipulation.
Great new gaming topic! I remember that lazer lasso in BulletStorm. That was a slice of fun!
Amazing video mojo plays, fantastic job. I like enjoy playing some of these games on the list.
Never played Dark Sector but that weapon looks even more fun that Kratos’ leviathan axe
I used to love the Alone in The Dark game 🤣🤷♂️

Goes to show you that the 360/PS3 era had its uniqueness...and its clones

i think Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga had a 'Jedi Mind Trick' mechanic very similar to what you described in Mindjack
Really, Fracture was bad? I loved the game growing up :(
I literally just bought the game mind Jack a few months ago, I've been asking all over the place if anybody has ever heard of this, and this is the first video game list that I've seen mentioning this game, being able to jump from person to person while one person is dying is a great concept

10 Games Held Back By Bad Story
These games deserve remakes
I liked dark sector. It mightve been the first game I played after eventually getting ps3.

Yo those ideas.are cool ..idk why it tucked...honestly I never tried any of these games😅
Re6 had many great ideas
It will easily have a good remake, let alone one that they really work hard on
Watchmojo be trippin' with that thumbnail 😂😂

Nah!, people would get neckache from constantly looking down at the boobies!
The coat inventory is so basic in thinking but also I’ve never seen done 😅
Another banger ❤
Awesome game list
Wo wo wo wo wo WO! Remember Me a terrible game?!
The Wii has a handful of great mechanics....
I don't remember "Remember Me" being terrible, but I also don't remember it til someone talks about it. Weirdly hard to remember, that one.
Once again, you dunked Resident evil 6 in the trash can. Do you need a time out?
I not Resident Evil person, but I like Sonic 06, don't hate me because I some I like and some I don't like
Like #100 😄😄😄
Thanks for the new Top 10 Mojo and go hug your furbabies all 💙🐱💙
Resident Evil 6 was better than every Resident Evil Game that came after.
Re6 movement is one of the things I disliked in the game it feels clunky the character gives one or two more steps after y stop and this game is the only one with the fall mechanic I just hated the characters falling so easily
We all know why we clicked on this video
"Melee" is pronounced "may lay", not "mee lee".
Dark Sector, and RE6 are not “TERRIBLE” games lmao
NO If they EVER add that crap ftom RE6 to future games I will not buy. Resident Evil is not UNCHARTED AND GEARS
wth is that thumbnail??!!!
This was a pretty accurate list
"Terrible games" xD
Such lame video, guys
