i actually fought isshin and he was kinda tough, but he felt like a joke next to demon of hatred
Facts
Isshin has 4 phases (including genichiro) and his 3rd phase is a lil stupid since it forces you to play wayyy more passive then the first 2 phases and just hyper armors through everything
Demon of hatred is easy tho just memorize his attack pattern while isshin fight is more of a reaction test
Agree. Demon of hatred took me 3 hours isshin was just the things i had already learned packaged into a boss. took around an hour.

Here to say. It took me 400 tries to beat Malenia, but I could never beat Sword Saint :(
Once I learned that chucking a frost pot at her when she hops up to do her waterfowl dance knocks her out of it, it made it a lot easier. At least getting to the second phase.. Now that's another story ha
you need to do a lot of things but you can do it. Hesitation is defeat. :)
Isshin was so much easier, gosh. He's really fun.
Havent tried Elden Ring, but I grinded my skills ao high I kid you not, I killed Genchiro in 3 tries and SS Ishin, in 8.

They need $$ to keep staff an that relies on viewtime. Notice how we went from top10 to top30? And most of these are just the same lists as before. It's lazy content

@@rundown132 they make more than 1 video a day on different stuff stop complaining when you're lazy compared to them and if you dont want to watch it just dont also most of the lists are slightly different
It's funny how weird it always feels to have mastered the awesome fight with Isshin the Sword Saint in Sekiro and still seeing it as #1 hardest boss on every list.
They must have only played Kingdom Hearts 2 and not Kingdom Hearts 2.5 remix because the Lingering Will was by far harder than sephiroth. By far harder. I played both in critical mode

I never really found Isshin as difficult as all the other hardest soul series bosses. He had weakness and exploitations I could use and once I had I read every move of his like an open book.

Isshin's greatest challenge was his second phase. He gets such an insane amount of coverage, range and speed that it's overwhelming and tough to get used to. His third phase was the easiest for me because of how insane lightning reversal is.

Sephiroth was a piece of cake compared to The Lingering Will aka Terra in Kingdom Hearts 2.
I was waiting for him in the list. He's definitely way harder than Sephiroth. Sephiroth was hardest in kh1
When I first saw how the pros played Cuphead and Sekiro and how easily they beat the bosses, I thought these games would be as easy as pie to beat, I was wrong.
As a person who beat Persona 5 vanilla and Royal, I can easily say that there’s no way Yaldabaoth is harder that Malenia

Sephiroth as a superboss fight has long been surpassed when it comes to the Kingdom Hearts series... Now he's become something of a benchmark.
I still think I had the hardest time with the Lingering Will.
Sephiroth probably the easiest super boss in KH2 tbh

Yea absolute radiance should honestly a number one. All these other bosses need to be beat to even beat the game, and everyone pulls it off one way or another, but absolute radiance is an added boss that isn't part of the standard game, and was made to be impossible. The first people to beat it literally went down in history. That never once happened for any of these other bosses
Well.. with the release of Elden Ring’s DLC.. I think it’s safe to say Promised Consort Radahn is near number 1.
If you're gonna put a Kingdom Hearts boss on the list, put in Lingering Will instead of Sephiroth. But if you really wanna put in Sephiroth, put in Virtual Sephiroth from FFVII Rebirth.
Personally, I think Gna in Ragnarok was far worse than Sigrun. Took me about 8 tries to beat Sigrun. Gna was closer to 20 attempts, if not more.

Wow that's surprising, on my first attempt with Sigrun I was dying for days, but Gna on the other hand died after 4 tries lol
The biggest problem with GoW compared to the FromSoft games is that you can turn down the difficulty. I couldn't beat Gna on Give Me Balance (15 or so attempts), which i played the whole game in. When i turned it down to Give Me Grace, I beat her first try.
@@ssjneko1 u can get op in most dark souls games tho, u can in gow too but on give me god of war difficulty it wont make a difference compared to normal difficulty difficulty
Jinpachi Mishima & Azazel Tekken 5 & 6 Both these guys can stun you mid move, their attacks take up the entire screen, & both have 1 Hit Kills.
Man, I'm glad and kinda proud that I 100% completed Sekiro. One of the hardest games I've ever played and it's the one I had the most fun from a FromSoftware games
Absolute Virtue from Final Fantasy XI should be #1. Any boss that takes roughly 18-24 hours for ONE attempt is pure insanity.
Ya'll putting ONLY Extreme Behemoth here shows just how far you've actually gotten to MHW. When literally FATALIS and ALATREON EXISTS in ICEBORNE. These 2 alone would mop the floor of all the bosses in this list in terms of difficulty.

Missing Mephistopheles from Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies as a secret Boss after completing all easter eggs and he's almost impossible to beat you have to play perfectly barely anyone has beat him
Yozora from KH3 dlc is way harder than Isshin and Malenia.
Am always surprised when people complain about Malenia..It took me just 3 attempts to finish her..She is one of the easiest in the Elden Ring game..My hardest boss was the final boss..It took me over 20 attempts to beat it
A lot of bosses from Sekiro could have made the list. But I know there are separate lists. Ranking bosses in Sekiro.
Swap Thesis/Asterius with Malenia. It took less time to beat them than trying to beat her if she does that shadow attack move in her second form.

I like malenia at 11 cause even tho she’s hard you can cheese her with summons and builds. Kos can’t really be cheesed with builds or summons cause then he’ll hit harder with more health and sword saint you gotta just be good asf at the game. Elden ring just has so much flexibility in gameplay that it makes it easier.

Everytime I see a list like this I expect some Atlus bosses and always get disappointed. Especially when you know a list like this could be filled with lots of them but nope, only 3 Atlus bosses (2 Persona ones and 1 super boss from SMT)

Lol. Soloing Terramorphous is a cake walk if you know what you are doing. At OP8 he can be killed in under 8 seconds even with badass ranks turned off.
I feel General Raam of Gears of War 1 should be in here, unless 2006 is outside of the “modern” era you’re referring to?
Metal gear rising final boss is super easy like whole game together, Devil may dry 5 is super easy as well as soon as you memorise all Virgil attacks. Some of Blashemous enemies as well as Octopath traveler enemies are 10 times harder
Icon of Sin was easy for me. But it is still one of my favorite boss battles. Super fun.

Good From Software list. Except it would seem you didnt come anywhere near the true ending of Armored Core 6. The true final boss can only be challenged after youve finished every other story path and got every other ending through doing several runs in NG+. The Cel 240 on this list is a beginner level boss to the true ending, "All Mind", which makes Malenia look like a pushover, and id argue is actually the hardest boss From Soft has ever made. Also interesting choice to not include anything from Stellar Blade. The end game there contains several bosses as hard as Sigrun from GOW.
How is Abyssion from Tales of Symphonia not on this list? He is easily the hardest boss in the game, even if he is optional. I had to level up my characters so high to beat him that when I fought against the actual final boss, Mithos, I beat him within a few minutes on the first try.

I mean lets be honest this channel was just one of the first ones who did such ranking videos hence it is so big. But it is not a creative concept or hard to do and eventually you run out of interesting stuff that people will click on. Gaming and movie content is probably the most popular stuff since that is most likely the major audience you get on youtube.
So from their perspective it makes sense to just repost or slightly update old list. That is the issue if you do not create your own content but just repackage stuff.

If we are including optional bosses, than Elizabeth is way harder than Nix Avatar IMO.
Not only you unlock her battle by doing all her requests, but if you don’t equip yourself with the best weapon, armor and accessory, plus Personas with multiple resistances and high defenses against almighty, you will feel her wrath of three actions per turn
And they picked nyx from reload. Nyx in reload is a joke compared to fes since he can no longer charm heal and he has more health in the final phase but no resistances and he can only attack once(unless he pops out that one move). Not saying the boss is bad but nyx imo is way better in fes

Fuuka scan ability in Reload is the most broken one and If you have her in the 90’s you can use it in every one of the 15 phases, plus the Theurgy’s are just so broken (Fuuka’s specially) when used right (of course you have the option of not using them, but you probably have fun using them because is something new in a nostalgic setting)
I forgot to mention that of course in the original P3, P3 FES, and P3P is way harder because of what you just mentioned.
I see why they put the ib1 cel 240 from ac 6 instead of any of the final bosses, this is the boss a lot of people get stuck on because of how fast it is.

malenia does not deserve to be in the top 10 simply because of the sheer size of elden ring. if it was a simple 1v1 with a katana like let me solo her does (which is basically the hardest way to fight her), then maybe, but the player has the option to summon others, summon a mimic and tons of cheese weapons, spells and more. it doesnt matter if ur using op weapons. those are given by the game and the ability to respec and more is given by the game as well. using the resources in the game to fight the boss is the POINT of a boss fight. and looking through that lens, which is the most objective possible lens to judge the difficulty of a boss by, malenia should by no means be in the top 10.
@@somebodyimportant3239but even with all the Elden ring mechanics like summons. She’s still way harder then the maneater for sure and I beat Orphan on my second try with ease so those two should not be above her.
@@somebodyimportant3239mate, nobody fucking cares what cheese you using to beat her. Fighting here solo puts her in top 3 hardest bosses. Only Consort radhan is harder than her in fromsoftware games.
I don’t think any boss from BG3 should count, none of them are hard if you build right. I beat Raphael in 2 turns on Tactician difficulty. Haven’t done Honor Mode yet, but considering how easy it was in Tactitian, I expect the Honor Mode fight to be only moderately more difficult
Vergil fight in dmc3 and demon of hatred were way harder than the ones you put on the list

Other adjustments probably should probably be made too.
Grim Matchstick isn’t the hardest Cupbead boss. Dr. Khal’s Robot and Chef Saltbaker from the DLC take that title.
And for those who thought Mr. X from Re2 was too hard, the final fight with Nemesis in RE3 on inferno difficulty will destroy your sanity.
Isshin is a really fun fight when you learn his rhythm though. I always look forward to fighting him at the end of sekiro
KH2 Sephiroth is on here, but not KH1 Sephiroth/Lingering Will/Yozora? Bad pick!

isshin is hard but the hardest boss of the morden era idk about that, on my second playthought it only took me two try to beat him.
Don’t get me wrong, Isshin is tough but he’s a cake walk compared to Melania. I just got done with my second play through of Elden Ring, I was level 195 and she was still whoopin my ass. After I finally got used to Sekiro’s combat, I could take out Isshin with almost no issue.
After years of facing Shibata I can handle him now but he still pisses me off, as a raw experience he is insufferable and annoying. The main issue isn't the boar at all I find the spinning hatchets and the tracking grab he has far more deadly and sometimes frame perfect to handle. Regardless thank you for making me feel a little valid.
Senator armstrong and orphan of kos were very hard for me for both of then it took me more than 20+ tries to defeat them and i wanted to rip my hair off of how hard they were

I had monster hunter on console and I could rarely find groups especially for the behemoth I never got to beat it or I’d have someone join and they would get KO’d and insta leave lol
I platinumed both cuphead and elden ring and the fact they put grim matchstick higher than malenia is wild
It is a crime that the damn cuphead dragon, from the 2nd easiest cuphead world, is supposedly harder than malenia, who most players have never even been able to get to

Putting Malenia at num 11(and not even in top 5) is such an *insult to video game* industry in general. The amount of gameplay adaptability and instant decision-making skills you need to muster up within yourself to solo her on your 1st playthrough, unmatched. Literally took me more than 200 attempts in 4 consecutive days to finally take her down on my 1st playthrough. Show some respect to her name.

malenia compared to other bosses was somehow very easy. I could literally tank all her God damn waterfall dance nad took me like 6 tries. on the other hand Radahn, Draconic Tree sentinel and Radagon-Elden Beast took me days.
