Dear Dr. Osborne, Thank You for your knowledgeable information. You are changing lives with the Video Series and No Grain No Pain, scientific information, with broad access: Thank You !!! #2 Blessings, Regina Rianelli, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,
Dr. Osbourne, does Himilayan Tartary Buckwheat have a gluten protein that mimicks wheat? I heard it has 132 phytochemicals in it and is high in protein. My gut instinct says it is a gluten mimicry.
I suffered from horrendous open sores all over my legs, arms and hands. It took months for them to heal and every day more appeared. I went to several doctors over a 20 year period. Was tested for everything and biopsies for cancer. No answers. Went to a dermatologist and she told me to rub Vaseline on them! REALLY???? You have the audacity to bill my health insurance for that kind of advice????? Then she came back with the reason I have the sores is that I take hot showers and my nerves are angry with me!!!!! Her exact words. WTH?!?!?!? I gave up and continued to suffer. Wore long pants and long sleeved shirts to hide the hideous sores even during the hottest weather. Then I found a new doctor and during my first health check he said I have allergies to foods, most likely glutin. He sent me to an allergist and BAM, I was allergic to so many things. Went on a strict elimination diet and the sores went away. Gradually added back one food at a time to discover what to avoid. Took a year to sort it out. No more sores!!! Also, no more stomach pain, no more body and joint pain, no more migraine headaches, no more water retention, etc., etc., etc. I feel better today at 73 than when I was in my 30s. My diet consists of meat, eggs, very little dairy, very few veggies, and very few fruits. I eat no carbs and no sugar. I drink water and very limited coffee. That's all. I feel amazing and have never had more energy or felt better.
I try to eat the same way. Dairy makes me bloated if I eat more than a little. Decaf coffee is hard to let go if but I have to. I really need to do just meat and salt. The RA is flaring out of control.
@Nancy I have RA too was on biologics but have been able to get it completely under control using carnivore diet. Off all meds and zero symptoms after just a few weeks! I'm now 9 weeks in and stunned by the results and no cravings whatsoever for anything else but meat!
@@louisewilken6883grass fed (proper diet) for cows, pasture raised chickens (proper diet) then NONE of the aforementioned foods contain corn (gluten) by default
I have Celiac disease and DH (Dermatitis Herpetiformis). No grains for me! I also have given up nightshades. (They have lectins which cause major flare ups for me). My joint/muscular pain has subsided, no migraines anymore, no more blistery welts/rash, my balance is now back on track. I went from 155 lbs. to 115 lbs. I used to be so swollen and my organs felt so inflamed. This strict diet is worth it to me!!!
Omg I’m so swollen it’s unreal! I’m going to be starting this way of eating cutting out gluten! I have sibo, hashimotos, hypothyroid major weight I gained seemed like over night
This video is a godsend. Thank you. I keep getting so so so sick eating "gluten free" but it wasnt gluten free at all! Its been 30 dang years and no one has ever explained this to me. Millet is the worse for me. This needs to be corrected with doctors and nutritionists and food labeling!
@@maverickf13 Nothing confusing as it is the same with all food categories: 1. Meat - some people can not eat beef or chicken, or lamb, etc 2. Seafoods, same thing with nuts, etc 3. Beans I can only eat Chickpeas and giant beans,no other beans. And they have to be without skin, and I can only handle less than 1/2 a cup at a time.
75 with fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis and in the process of reversing insulin resistence. I eat only eggs, meat, low oxalated greens, low glycemic fruits and low purine foods. No sugar, carbs, coffee or dairy.I haven't felt this good in a very, very long time. The motivation to maintain this way of eating is having no mood swings, or brain fog and instead a clear mind, better energy and a huge change in pain levels. Dr Osborne, thank you...for your work and this channel. 💜
I have felt many times over the years that there are no foods safe for me to eat. I have Crohn's, Coeliac & hypothyroidism and have been told not to touch any grains, seeds, nuts, raw salads, nightshade vegetables, fruits, sugar, coffee, processed meat, nitrites etc. All I currently eat is grass-fed ribeye steaks cooked in butter! Staying safe..
I appreciate when you tell us what you do eat in a day to give us ideas so that we don’t focus so much on what we can’t have. People have to shift their way of thinking instead of relying on old habits!
I'm a "forced" raw alkaline vegan who also cuts out all nuts and seeds and nightshade plants. And I have chemical and other sensitivities! Imagine my life! Can't eat and can't breathe!
@@shantinaturechild3239 I can imagine your life. I'm having hestimine sensitivity and chemical sensitivities. I suspect gluten and leaky gut is the root of it but I better think long and hard before I eat or use anything that contacts my body in any way. It's exhausting and I've spent two years trying to figure it out. Doctors think I'm crazy. I've come a long way but I still have trouble. I so feel for you because it seems like absolutely no body understands and just think it's all in your head. Very frustrating
i followed your book no pain no grain and transformed my life for the better Dr O. Finally, after years of digestive pain and the wrong GERD medications from charlatan doctors i once followed religiously, I am finally getting better. That heavy stomach feeling is lifting and the gluten attaxia on nerves in arms legs back and head are reducing. i can finally sleep on right side after years on wedge pillow and the GERD is gone. God bless you mate. i hope to meet you soon in Houston. S.D from Australia.
We tried a gluten free diet a long time ago for my husband and son who have mental problems - ocd, anxiety, etc. Maybe now I know why it didn't work! We will revisit this with your method and get rid of all those "gluten free" foods that still have other forms of gluten or mimic gluten. Thanks, this is eye opening. No wonder nothing changed with all the effort of changing our diet!
You also need to eliminate meat and dairy and oils and just eat fresh organic fruits and veggies and nuts and seeds and berries and melons and lentils and read Dr Michael Greger's book How Not to Age and follow Bryan Johnson's Blueprint diet protocol and Dr. Brooke Goldner's green smoothie recipe for auto immune issues.
What type of schooling did you get? I’m passionate about studying and becoming a Dr to be able to help people just like you. I am a certified Ayurvedic health counselor but after I read “wheat belly” I knew my new mission was to spread the knowledge about gluten. Thanks so much!!
I recently found your channel and I am grateful. I suffered my entire life from food issues but I was not diagnosed until I was in my 40's. I just started a version of the Keto diet and have reduced my A1C to normal. I now know that I have issues with all grains. I am looking forward to learning more, thank you for your videos. 😊
How I discovered in late 30s that I was Carbohydrate sensitive, not allergic to Gluten. When I was a kid (since I was born, a premature baby, my mom said I had problem digesting everything, and cried for hours as if in pain) I always had food allergies. Then around 9 years old I finally realized that I could eat bread but only a small amount (which I would show how big ) Each time I went to the doc, which was almost every few weeks, I would tell the doc, and the doc would look me like I was crazy. I continued to ask the same question to every doc I would see through the years hoping to find an answer. Whenever I ate a regular western meal (especially at parties) of bread, entree, main dish and dessert, I would often vomit soon after. So, I started to pay attention, and decided to only eat (1) or at the most 2 of the (3), etc. Long story short this is how I discovered I was highly sensitive to the carbohydrates not the gluten ...So, of course once I went ...So, of course, once I went into a very low carb diet, I have been feeling very good ever since
Dear Dr. Osborn, I sincerely appreciate your help and sharing your valuable Knowledge with us. I am more interested in life after following your advises and feel better day by day . after suffering from variable autoimmune disorders, I feel there is a way to face with these sort of disorders. Thanks a lot
I have eliminated soooo many foods.. dairy, corn, soy, all gluten and now all this?! that I have lost so much weight I am desperately trying to find healthy food for me. I felt much better living outside the US that I am considering becoming an expat. Our food chain has become completely contaminated .I don’t trust any labels and never eat out. This is not life.
I wonder the same thing- I have to now eliminate millet - sorghum and tapioca - that I was baking bread with for the past year- now when I visit relatives I have to tell them- all I can eat is plain meat ~ fish- eggs - fruit and veg . Coconut milk -
Yes to all ... thanks for the wild rice tip. I am 72 and my brothers and I had sensitivities from birth. I remember sitting on the potty with heated water to help with constipation which I now treat with lots of green veg. My older brother had terrible acne which scarred his face forever ... looking back he almost certainly had something like ADHD and passed in his early 60's... alcahol has had a massive effect on the family. Thank you for all that you do for us Dr Osborne.... Blessings👍
THANK YOU SO MUCH. EVEN GIVING RESEARCH INFORMATION AND TAKING TIME TO CONTINUE GIVING EMPHASIS THAT ARE ON HIS VIDEOS. THIS MAN HAS A GOOD HEART CAN SAY MORE.
Diagnosed with Celiac’s a year ago at 56 years old. My sister has it as well and my mom died from primary biliary cirrhosis of the liver at 57. I just read that “ there is a well established connection “ between it and Celiac’s Disease. Still learning. Thank you for the information.
I’ve been gluten free for 23 years due to an anaphylactic allergic reaction to gluten starting at 40. But in the last year I’ve changed my diet to be completely grain free. I can honestly say it did make a difference. I don’t have nearly as many headaches as I use to. I had almost daily headaches and now I only need to take headache medication once in a while and I use to also take 2 different allergy medications daily and now I just take Loratadine which I’ve used for a long time for my histamine intolerance.
OTC Antihistamines are implicated in dementia (retired critical care nurse here). I manage my histamine problems with vit C which has mild antihistamine effects. I simply take 250 mg 15 min. before I eat any meal because dodging histamine in food is just so unpredictable. Ascorbic acid preps work much more effectively than Citric acid preps.
i love this video, its so helpful especially as a new person to the grain free diet. im still unsure about some seed type foods such as peas and beans. im sure this will be covered in another video somewhere but for now im keeping things simple. i seem to be ok with greek yoghurt but not other yoghurts and milk - its hard to know whats going on with my dairy sensitivity. very interesting to hear about some meat having gluten in it aswell as the info regarding dairy processing, A1 and A2... i will have to find out more as i progress and i learn new information every time i watch a video. im not getting mad rashes and no longer have crazy itching fingers. my heart problems seem to be under control whilst on the true gluten free diet. im happy to have a basic diet for 18 months if thats how long it takes to heal the damage to the GI tract. in the long run it should hopefully mean great health which is the best investment one can make for the future. i overdosed on oats for about 12 months, thinking they were "healthy" but i think it caused me chronic and very severe illness. they tell you this and that are healthy but its massively wrong. thank god i found a way out of this. i spent 4 years trying to find what was wrong with me. the doctors haven't got a clue and i could have been helped alot earlier. very grateful for your pioneering knowledge and kind help. i will continue my journey as i heal.
Thank you very much for your video Dr. Osborne. You seem very dedicated, knowledgeable, intelligent and caring. I'm about 23 minutes into the video and have gotten lots of good information already. I'm going to purchase your book "No Grain, No Pain". I've been feeling better since I replaced corn tortillas with cassava flour tortillas (I like the Cabo Chips brand because they use organic cassava flour) and I've also replaced my regular gluten free bread with grain-free Base Culture Original bread. They are expensive but they are nutritionally dense and filling and I'm not crashing over semi-unconscious on the kitchen table after eating(!) I'm so glad that wild rice is allowed, yay! I've been gluten-, dairy-, sugar- and oat- free for years but was still eating corn, quinoa and regular GF bread which I think is why my results were only so-so. I'm feeling more clear-headed and have more energy already. I convinced my skeptical boyfriend to try going gluten-free five years ago. (He still eats oats, dairy, sugar and corn though.) He has a rare, inherited and disabling form of arthritis plus the more common osteo-arthritis on top of that. Even just doing the standard gluten-free diet his swollen, red and painful elbow which had been that way for like 1-1/2 years went down to normal size and color in just three days. I'm hoping to get him to go further with it and try your protocol. I've been taking anti-inflammatory supplements also which help me: glycine powder, Healthy Drops Inflama-Relief and Crystal Creek Organics CBD oil isolate. I'm doing much better overall. (I've had CFIDS since 1990.)
I got rid of the quinoa, rice and corn thanks to your information. I have hashis and did the whole gluten free all wrong. I definitely noticed I stalled just cutting out wheat
yes, I reacted to quinoa, I can eat rice and oats without any ill effects. I like to do intermittent fasting and have started fasting for one day with no effect on my bgl. I am over 70 now and want to avoid dementia as I get older. Thank you so much for all your wonderful information. 🙂
Thankfully I don't like quinoa. I've reacted to corn and nutritional yeast which has pushed me to become fully raw right now and then I plan to add in one cooked food at a time to see if I can handle it. Working with my Naturalpath. Anyway, this is such good information and thank you for putting these videos out. I'm newly diagnosed with CD and RA. (although I don't believe RA diagnosis is true like my medical dr does. And truly believe it's a result from the CD.) Your videos have helped me with tons of info backing up what I've already researched)
@ Peter Osbourne, DAIRY, DAIRY, Dairy is a mimic of gluten !!!!!!!! I always thought I was lactose intolerant but even eating RAW dairy I flare up terribly … I’m talking all the side effects I have as if I’ve eaten wheat, gluten, rice, even sugar and corn. Your GOD SENT 🙏🏼
Its def yeastbin your belly. Anything thats good at growing yeast or mold will be very bad. Oats wheat dairy are very good as they have protein with carbs together. Mold sticks to protein and eats sugars. I think milk is the best grower on the planet. 7 day sugar fast is meant to kill all mold. Or let it die
This helped me a lot, great info. I did a blood test years ago which came back showing reaction to gluten, wheat, corn etc. After testing buckwheat and other grains for years I can now see the only grain I can tolerate is rice in all forms. Thanks
I had horrible symptoms of gluten intolerance...but I did not know what it was. I, on my own, took out grains, helped. Then took out all startches. Better. Continued eating whole good plant based vegan for 9 years, eating OMAD 20-22 IF. Last 6 years, despite all normal labs and narcolepsy testing ruling that out, every day while I ate my meal a day I would fall face first in my plate of food ASLEEP WHILE EATING (looking at my fork/ smaking my chin on the table/ruining 3 pairs of prescription glasses in 4 months, once falling over to my left rather then right, woke up with blazing headache because jaw had come out of socket! Googling insulin resistance/ metabolic syndrome, it pushed into a live feed of a carnivore. I learned lowest inflamatory nuts are only walnuts/pecans /macadamia and learned the only least inflammatory oils is organic evoo/evco/or avacado oils. I was shocked to learn almonds were so inflamatory. Being vegan almond everything and sunflower seeds were big time. Thank and HUMMUS was my kryptonte!!! So next day after I read about carnivore, I ate 16 ounces at of no where. HOLY CRAPPOLA...proof positive I was only one meal away from healing. Day, 1, 2 & 3 of just eaying pound of organic grass fed beef...I did not fall asleep in my food, but was hit with very sudden overwhelming fatique...J could not have lifted my foot to walk up a step. But 4th day FOOD SLEEPS STOPPED!!! I did not know I triggered an Xenobiotic toxin dumping. There are 7 of environmental toxins which disrupt effect metabolism. This was Obsenegens which make you grown more fat cells then you were born with and it makes them Mega Giagantic...aka FLUFFY as in Gabriel Iglesias, the great funnyman comedian. By 4th day liver started throbbing, by 5th ALL MY VISERAL FAT wrapping everyone of my organs had shrunk so rappiedly and completely I went from a size 22 to a 2-4 pants....I rendered like a piece of bacon! In less then 6 day, not only did my boobs and big butt fall off my 4'10ish frame, but my shoes/hats/rings were too big. It happened that fast!!! It felt like I woke up in a Lewis Carroll story and I should look for Alice and the rabbit hole. Wilder still, is because these giant fat cells literally went "POOF", it was becaus they were elastic from fat that it felt as if I had unzipped a Sumo wrestler's fat suit costume and just stepped out little me for decades before I became flouritoxic with the bioaccumulative cell toxin--flouride.* Yep feom decades of multiscourced exposures...worst from my avocation in the dental industry, working 9 years before gloves, masks, auto amalgamators, or any known precautions were known to be needed/taken. * Flouride Action Network ** Do look what medications products/produce has flouride in it. It is in everything. I know, because I have the dubious distinction of being a self professed MOST FLOURIDE TOXIC PERSON...yet alive and still triving. However
However...since all the cell toxins stored in the lipid cells of bones/brains and organs got dumped into my system proto. All everything...as in HDL/LDL/CHOLESTROL/TRIGLYCERIEDS or now superdooper mega high. Say prayers pleases as a cardiolgist lipidologist says she has not seen someone go from in the 200's to 6/ 7/8/900's. I AM asking for those who know or have seen this and mitigated it successful share feed back. I am on fb. I very much am asking for lots and lots of prayers...PLEASE! mo
Lost weight….. now 96 pounds. Gastritis I have but why? It is just getting worse. It is either the oatmeal every morning for years or the breads I CRAVE!!!!!!!! I am REALLY STRUGGLING WITH WHAT TO EAT FOR BREAKFAST WITHOUT THE OATMEAL AND BREADS! I ALLREADY EAT A LOT OF EGGS! 4 a day everyday. What can I eat? I am not a salad lover or I can’t eat anything with garlic in it thanks
THANK YOU! This is why I react to store bought almond or coconut milk. In fact, I react to any product containing any kind of gums... It gives me a skin rash!
20.40 Thank you for addressing the issue of grain fed cattle and transfer of gluten. My curiosity extends to grain fed chickens vs truly free range farm reared. The more I learn the more I understand that the main food supply is so heavily contaminated that a truly clean diet is almost impossible.
Dr Osborne, you are a Godsend! For year's I suspected that oats rice etc, were causing me problems. I appreciate what you say about gaining healthy weight! No-one else is talking about this ❤
I started following you a week ago and you have encouraged me to seek the help of a nutritionist. I have been pretty good removing wheat 3 years ago but now that I know other grains have gluten, I'm impressed with you knowledge, although there are days I don't react to a food but react the second or third time
Thank You so very much for the continued support! Dr. Osborne!, It's really necessary. Normal food nowerdays contains 3 to 5 times more gluten in them. More ppl getting problems with it and they don't even know it.
Hispanic people are the most unaware of grains and the damage the cause in our body , I am Hispanic suffered all my life from constipation but since grains are the food of the day we never go there and of course doctors won’t tell the patient to not eat grain do to the ignorance .. I wish all of my family at least get the point of the grain and the tremebundos damage .. 🙏👍👍👍👍
@@Cristaynful eat all the beautiful tropical fruit and greens you have. That's human food! I'd live to travel to the Philippines for that reason and sunshine and friendly people. But how to refuse politely all the cooked junk food and alcohol everyone offers when they're inviting you?
I have been having lots of blueberries. The purple fruit have the best antioxidants for the eyes. If you can deal with seeds, blackberries are also good, but to limit pain in the gut, stick to blueberries.
I react to corn even more than to gluten. All other gf grains or pseudo grains too, but less. I seem to do fine eating rice in small amounts once in a while.
I have tested out Sorghum flour twice. I have the worst reaction to it. My arms and legs went completely numb on both nights. Almost like paralysis which was extremely scary! So there is something awful there that needs to be avoided. Thank you Dr. Osborne for the phenominal help you offer to humanity. God bless you!
I had severe stomach pains last few days, as i finsh a half kg bag of sorghum. I baked sorghum simply adding water, salts and butter only. Now i can confirm sorghum is not such a fantastic gluten free grain as what i heard. Will try Teff and hopefully they are ok.
I thought I was crazy as I had to eliminate every single thing you named. Oats, amaranth, quinoa etc . I’ve been struggling with rice. So now I know. I also cannot take in any sticky thing like okra, black lentil , kidney beans etc.
I react to ghee , but I am ok with grass feed raw kefir. Chickpea flour is a killer without proper soaking before consuming. I also react to unpasteurised butter and pasteurised butter. I just got high crp with gluten, waiting for celiac test but can’t rely on it. Microbione tests said no food allergies. Ha ha, I have severe ra. The best lowering crp is fast! No food , no crp, today I had a bit of home made liver pate but most time I try to only eat at night. That is when I feel better. Fasting fasting fasting, I was off gluten for an year crp 14 but fasting got me to 4 but on gluten for 4 weeks and crp gone from 4 to 14 in 4 weeks. Back on cimzia. Feel terrible! Kefir on my eyes cured my dry eye. Now I use kefir anywhere is my body. Helps anything even nails. Kefir has good bacteria so skin with bad bacteria it cures. Eyes can have bad bacteria because of sjorgren. I have 3 autoimmune disease so it means I can react to anything. Fasting is the best.
@@meerakhoosal2313 just with a cotton clean the eyes with kefir. Never had an issue since then. By the way, do not clean the eyes with water as it contains bleach. My eyes are worse with water. I don’t need moisturise. But you can use extra virgin olive oil if you are not allergic. But I only use kefir. Home made from grains with raw milk fermented for 60 hours.
Oat Fiber, Nut Flour, and Seeds.....love my bread, cookies, and pancakes. ( Keto allowed ) To replace gluten as a binder: Isolate Eggwhite protein powder and Xantham Gum. A lot of people have problems with grains, not only gluten, often they think it is gluten but it is the grain.
Xanthum gum or any gum is a killer for me,worse than wheat, celiac for 40 years, now rice and corn have to go,also oats gf no good. As welk as nightshades
I found out through doing a very lengthy elimination diet that I cannot eat gluten. I also have problems if I eat corn or dairy (even taking a Lactase digestive enzyme). I didn’t even know to test for how I reacted to rice and the other grains and pseudo grains, which you mentioned. If those end up contributing to my inflammation, etc and I avoid them it will make a big difference to my overall well-being; so, thank you for the information. I would love to take the genetic test for gluten sensitivity.
I’m now heading towards the carnivore diet. I know diary is a big problem for me, as is sugar. I’ve been celiac for over 10 years now, I now find some GF foods are making me un-well, I’m full of pain and inflammation. Genetic testing is my next step. Good luck to you, and all out there 😉
I read your book some years ago because a normal gf diet left me feeling Ill . I had already come to the conclusion that I couldn’t eat what other coeliacs were eating . I found what you were saying I could really agree with but as I felt on a restricted diet already n wasn’t quite sure what else was causin me problems as I couldn’t take any medicine or vitamins as I react so strongly I felt it was hopeless. I have now found I can’t have any additives in foods definitely not grains pseudo or otherwise I know I can eat meat fish egg veg n fruit but find it hard to carbs ie gf bread but I’m going to give it my best shot . I need vitamins d3 b5 b12 etc but for some reason cannot take asa supplement so will try to eat more in food
i find i have serious problems with supplements aswell as pills in general but i know meat veg fish is safe. some fruits are ok. some nuts seem to be ok. i cant seem to find any carbs but i dont know much about that and will find out in due course i guess.
I'm watching this a few years later, but I would add that if your digestive system has been compromised or damaged from gluten sensitivity, then you may also have an inflammatory reaction to the phytic acid in nuts, seeds, and legumes unless they are soaked or sprouted prior to consuming. That has been my experience. I love most nuts but I feel some pain after eating store bought roasted nuts.
HI ON TUESDAY FROM FAIRFAX CA. BEGINNING TO WACH GLUTEN MIMICKING FOODS. AM GLUTN FREE FOR ABOUT 7 YRS, ALSO REDUCE GRAINS 99% AND STILL HAVE MUSCLE AND JOINT PAIN....ADVANCED OSTEOARTHRITIS AND USE A WALKER. THANKS FOR THESE VIDEOS ON RUclips. I HAVE HASHIMOTOS ALSO. LONG TIME. Glad to find you again.
Just when I thought I’d heard your most helpful message... this one is amazingly helpful, never heard thorough information, had to pass along to my daughter who is struggling with this very issue... she was most grateful !! ❤❤🎉🙏
20 years ago I was diagnosed to all grains allergy except guargum. Same time after that I got horrified thyroid problems. About after 2 years from that I got allergi based asthma. Now I found out that parasethamol has somewhat damaged my liver ( hope I can still save it ). Asthma doc said I should try to eat grains, because otherwise I can't eat it at all after a while, so I have done that. What I have found from these videos is that my anabolic function doesn't work, so that's I can't lose weight that easily. I started gluten free today, but I can't understand what I can eat. I don't get bad reaction from rice, so maybe I could try that. I keep on researching and trying to solve this problem. Thank you from the videos 😊
I love everything that you're saying Dr. Osborne, but where are you getting your information about uncommon gluten intolerance genes? I can't find the literature
3:48 it's on old video but this is just not true. corn, rice, millet are technically gluten free. the don't have the gluten protein in them. they may contain trace amounts of gluten if they are processed at the same site like gluten containing grains, but so would be every other food product.
How about GMO free foods? I watched the video GENETIC ROULETTE. This is full of stories of people who started eating all organic, even wheat, and their pains stayed away. Too bad sugar isn't like that. Even the lowest sugar organic fruit like strawberries are making me ache I think. But then I haven't weeded out all the chemicals in plastic jars and cans and the air and my clothes and sheets. I drink distilled water IF it is really distilled water. I eat all organic IF these foods are really organic. But the air being full of chemicals is another thing. Also there is the acidic/alkaline subject. Many people are saying our bodies try to keep us around a pH of 7.4. That is because we consist of atoms which spin as positive/negative poles. Apparently these must stay balanced and what we eat changes this balance in the atoms. Look up what foods are acidic. We are breathing acidic air and taking acidic pills. Even the fluoride in the water is toxic which means acidic. We have to overcome all of these, so I think eating all alkaline foods may be better to keep balanced. Animals and their products are acidic I have heard. Maybe the cows are eating grass that pesticides and chemtrails have covered. Maybe cows hear other cows being slaughtered and this is when they turn acidic. Maybe they drink toxic waters full of chemicals. I have read that eggs are acidic. Maybe the mother hens became stressed out because they have to stay inside all day all crunched up with other chickens. Animals have feelings too, or they wouldn't take care of their young. People turn their own selves acidic by being stressed out.
I know this video is an older one but it is opening my eyes to so many things. I thought I was following a gluten free diet but couldn't figure out why I was still having so many problems. I had no idea that some of the things I was substituting had a form of gluten as well. I'm so thankful to have found you Dr Osborne!! I went right to Amazon and ordered "No Gran No Pain"
I love your sharing the expertise about gluten. From time to time I have a like symptoms of rheumatoid arrhritis when I ate a contaminated gluten food.
So for me, I don't any problems with rice or corn-based products at all. With bread, I always feel some sort of discomfort and bloating. And if I don't feel it at the moment I'll feel it later on in the day. When I was a kid I found out I had a food intolerance to wheat, eggs, and dairy. Wheat affects me the most out of all of them
It could be the added preservatives like calcium proprionate or 282 which they add to bread.. I found, it caused a huge inflammatory reaction in my my muscles joints and fatigue, vinegar also acts as a bread preservative and that did not affect me. Similarly with milk which has permeate added which is a by product of cheese making and caused me to have an inflammatory reaction. Also the nitrates and nitrites caused a cumulative reaction if I eat bacon for more than 2 days in a row. So additives do affect some people. Various gums cause me problems as well. High fat lvery low carb moderate protein works best for me. I add blue berries with coconut oil each day to stop small joint pain. Never crave grains or sweets or root vegetables infact all cravings disappear with a keto diet which keeps one full from 6 to 24 hours. I also supplement with high strength liquid fish oil, I take 3 tablespoons together with d3 k2- M7, magnesium salt, pottassium and high strength b vitamins complex with additional b1,2 3 much higher strength and sublingual b12 methyl cobalamin form and iodine and selenium and add other trace minerals from a multivitamin. For anyone with any form of neuropathy I suggest adding R' alpha lipoic acid it got rid of my neuropathy but I do have to keep taking it as it slowly returns if I stop for a while. These all help with inflammatory conditions and heart conditions. Hope some of this info helps. This regime also works in some jab inured people.
By the way keto or low carb can be adapted to your own type of cuisine you just need to calculate your macros or you can just do a low carb high fat minus root vegetables grains and and anything else that affects you I find hard high fat and high soft cheeses easier to tolerate then milk this may help some people.
@T This is what I needed to hear. I've been struggling lately trying to find the best possible diet for my health. I heard aged hard cheeses are much easier to digest but I haven't tried it out yet. And with wheat I don't know if it's 100% gluten or something else.
Very interesting content, thank you! what do you think about Dr. Gundry's work about lectins? and how does it correlates with gluten-mimmicking grains/pseudo? concerning dairy - what about sheep\goat milk products? (sheep whey, yogurt, fat cheeses etc. preferably organic and grass fed) or should it be eliminated as well?
Quantum Chang I really don’t care what you believe, I listen to my pain. You can ridicule me all you want. I’m not going to damage my intestine any further because you say I’m foolish. I was in the ER and the pain was diagnosed, so believe what you want.
@@quantumchang4410 it does! It contains the least of all grains but it does contain gluten. I had to give away 20 kg of rice.... It's seriously addictive as well!! I'm glad I have eliminated it from my food! It's not edible raw anyway so it's not natural human food!
This is interesting to me because I have celiac and despite a strict g.f. diet I still get the occasional breakout and I never knew why. It's disheartening because my celiac outbreaks manifest as d.h. and the blisters, rash, etc. can last for three or four months.
Has anyone ever wondered if the weed spray and pesticide spray they use in farming the grains could be the culprit? I ask this as for 1000s of years civilisations have had grains as their staple food source and managed to thrive by living on these
Agreed, for millenia cultures have survived and thrived on these grains, didn't have these intolerances...it must be a combination of the GMO aspect, the sprays, the soil being contaminated. Plus we have about a zillion toxins leeching into our gut systems each second of the day from basically everything! Lol. So our guts aren't "clean" or strong enough to deal with a lot of foods anymore. Toxins from clothing, cleaning products, bedding, various drinks, even bagged tea leeches toxins into your body. And if you have a cup or 2 every day, that adds up. Even our fruits, and veggies have toxins....what DOESN'T have toxins these days? Unless you own land somewhere where they aren't spraying the skies every day, and you can grow your own everything....for the rest of us, it's a war against the "machine".
I'm finding that I have sensitivities to more foods as my disorder progresses. I've learned to avoid foods that mimic gluten, such as oats and potatoes. I'm also finding that they are putting gluten in foods that should be gluten-free, so its always important to read those labels. So many gluten-free items are made with rice/rice starch, etc. I was today years old, to learn that I need to be concerned with rice as well. I'm totally screwed. At this point, the only safe thing to eat is meat and veggies. And with the poisoning of our food, those are questionable, as well. It looks like the only actual safe thing to consume is distilled water.
I cannot digest meat.. Im ready to become a breatharian....down to water and certain fruits and very few veggies at this point. I have to literally drink maple syrup and grape juice to keep enough calories to prevent starving to death....
Rice, corn, oats, quinoa, sorghum, in alternative milks, all bother me so bad just like eating gluten does to me. And many more foods dairy, soy, nuts, coffee, night shades.....
Thank you for all of this knowledge, and sharing it with the world. I was unaware of all of this and have been on a traditional GF diet that was not always working. Now I know why!!!
Thank you for this very important information. I have been quite strict with my diet and couldn't understand why I would have a "💩episode" every-so-often. I will try to purchase your book for this vital information. Thanks again
Almonds and other nuts and seeds should at least be soaked or sprouted and be peeled if possible. I can't eat any unsoaked nuts or seeds without autoimmune reactions like joint pain besides candida flare ups.
Hello, I have not found an answer to this question-- If I have to avoid grain fed beef, what about poultry that has been grain fed? What else can I feed my quail and chickens that are not corn, rice, oats or other grains? Can poultry survive on only beans and yogurt (as I've heard some people feed to their chicken)?

Thank you. You help me with many issues...Gluten causes my itching and swelling on arms, chest, & legs
Ditto, glad your gut and skin healed
@Nancy I have RA too was on biologics but have been able to get it completely under control using carnivore diet. Off all meds and zero symptoms after just a few weeks! I'm now 9 weeks in and stunned by the results and no cravings whatsoever for anything else but meat!
Glad to hear you feeling better...but you said you have milk eggs and meat...all those animals eat corn...so makes no sense

All I currently eat is grass-fed ribeye steaks cooked in butter! Staying safe..

How I discovered in late 30s that I was Carbohydrate sensitive, not allergic to Gluten.
When I was a kid (since I was born, a premature baby, my mom said I had problem digesting everything, and cried for hours as if in pain) I always had food allergies. Then around 9 years old I finally realized that I could eat bread but only a small amount (which I would show how big )
Each time I went to the doc, which was almost every few weeks, I would tell the doc, and the doc would look me like I was crazy.

Hi Mary! I have Celiac. It took me a life time to figure out my diet. I cook a lot . Always sick eating out. I hope you are doing well. D
Dr Steven Gundry recently said that all grains have gluten or mimic gluten. Stay on the diet ❤️
I have been eating gluten free Keto and feel much better!

And truly believe it's a result from the CD.) @ Peter Osbourne, DAIRY, DAIRY, Dairy is a mimic of gluten !!!!!!!! I always thought I was lactose intolerant but even eating RAW dairy I flare up terribly … I’m talking all the side effects I have as if I’ve eaten wheat, gluten, rice, even sugar and corn.
Your GOD SENT 🙏🏼
Try A2 dairy ,it is ok for us
Its def yeastbin your belly. Anything thats good at growing yeast or mold will be very bad. Oats wheat dairy are very good as they have protein with carbs together. Mold sticks to protein and eats sugars. I think milk is the best grower on the planet. 7 day sugar fast is meant to kill all mold. Or let it die

Good luck to you, and all out there 😉
I am Celiac. I can’t tolerate corn, I don’t really eat rice but I do eat quinoa and have never had a problem.
I had severe lower back pain. I was doing keto, but the moment I stopped eating nuts my back pain was gone
@@talktomenowxbmcdo you mean raw nuts? And which type of nuts?
@@justasimplesomeone I ate various nuts, macademia nuts, brazilian nuts, peanuts, pretty much every nut was a problem
@@talktomenowxbmcpeanut is not a nut, it’s legumes.😂😂😂😂
Peanuts are astronomically high in inflammatory Omega 6’s, Way higher than all the other (inflammatory fats) tree nuts.
Google Omega 6-3 ratio.
Hello from Mission, British Columbia, Canada. Thank you so much for educating us. You are an absolute blessing🙏🙏. Wish you were here!!!
I’ve been living off rice and sushi. Was wondering why I have been having a reaction. Thank you so much U r a literal life saver.
Thank God for sashimi!! 😉
Maybe look up for N-acetylcholine?
I love everything that you're saying Dr. Osborne, but where are you getting your information about uncommon gluten intolerance genes? I can't find the literature
3:48 it's on old video but this is just not true. corn, rice, millet are technically gluten free. the don't have the gluten protein in them. they may contain trace amounts of gluten if they are processed at the same site like gluten containing grains, but so would be every other food product.
My muscles grow faster without grain. Gains without grains
Nice to know thanks
Mine as well!
Good one 😂
Didn't know coeliac could cause so much.
@Sandra Sue Taylor it isn't airways coeliac, there are other sensitivities which don't test positive for coeliac disease
Have to save this video it is worth gold. Will share with my daughter.
Gluten Free replacements are often high glycemic which can cause diabetes type issues.
Basically anything that's advertised as good for you, healthy and low fat etc is actually a good indication of it being" BAD"
Yes, I can’t go to any Asian restaurants anymore due to rice products, corn starch and soy sauce in marinades, use of corn/canola/soy oils.
Cheryl from Australia I have stopped eating all Grains, Dairy Free, Lectin free, some Nuts, Legumes
Thank you for your information from Portsmouth Hampshire in England
You Are A Great Teacher 👍 May GOD BLESS YOU And Your Dedicated Work! 🙏🕊️
4:40 corn, millet, sorghum, rice. 17:28 dairy . 18:46 mtg ,meat glue, microbial transglutaminase, 21:37 A2 dairy is better
Thank you for keeping price low and reasonable on your book.. I am getting it soon. So nice to find you on utube 😊
Thank you Sir for your expertise. Your videos are very supportive.
I knew it!! The rice one surprised me tho. I dont get any reactions from brown rice pastas
Hi dr Osborne, I am from Slovenia
I love your sharing the expertise about gluten. From time to time I have a like symptoms of rheumatoid arrhritis when I ate a contaminated gluten food.
You said that gluten gets in the milk if a cow eats grains, how about the meat of a grain fed cow? Would there be some gluten in it?
All you teach and your Book has changed mine and my brothers health drastically! Thank you Dr❤️.
From England 👍🏾
So for me, I don't any problems with rice or corn-based products at all. With bread, I always feel some sort of discomfort and bloating. And if I don't feel it at the moment I'll feel it later on in the day. When I was a kid I found out I had a food intolerance to wheat, eggs, and dairy. Wheat affects me the most out of all of them
The other problem with bread is the yeast as well.
I am the same
Very interesting content, thank you!
what do you think about Dr. Gundry's work about lectins? and how does it correlates with gluten-mimmicking grains/pseudo?
concerning dairy - what about sheep\goat milk products? (sheep whey, yogurt, fat cheeses etc. preferably organic and grass fed) or should it be eliminated as well?
I just took a supplement with rice flour! I feel it! Thank you for this info! Just got your book too!
Rice has no gluten. What are you going on about??? Is this all about Paleo falls in love at first sight with Celia?
Quantum Chang have you listened to the video?
Quantum Chang I really don’t care what you believe, I listen to my pain. You can ridicule me all you want. I’m not going to damage my intestine any further because you say I’m foolish. I was in the ER and the pain was diagnosed, so believe what you want.
@@quantumchang4410 it does! It contains the least of all grains but it does contain gluten. I had to give away 20 kg of rice.... It's seriously addictive as well!! I'm glad I have eliminated it from my food! It's not edible raw anyway so it's not natural human food!
Debra Gill Infact rice does have glueten you are right miss ..anything that’s is not natural would have gluten in them because gluten is starch
Please make videos on lentils. Is it safe for non celiac gluten sensitivity
I have been gluten free 19 years now, and avoid all grains. I have problems with all lugumes as well.
This is interesting to me because I have celiac and despite a strict g.f. diet I still get the occasional breakout and I never knew why. It's disheartening because my celiac outbreaks manifest as d.h. and the blisters, rash, etc. can last for three or four months.
DR OSBORNE....DOES NUTRITIONAL YEAST MIMIC GLUTEN? Thanks so much!!
Has anyone ever wondered if the weed spray and pesticide spray they use in farming the grains could be the culprit? I ask this as for 1000s of years civilisations have had grains as their staple food source and managed to thrive by living on these
Absolutely!
I definitely know this is a factor with people having problems with certain plant foods have guts very damaged by those chemicals
I believe it is from genetically modifying all the foods...
@@Jacqui9it's both I think
Exactly, everyone else swears wheat grass is ok but every time I tried it in an organic gf mix I got so sick!
PrayersUp for you l@@lauraestes9304
I have a gluten like reaction to corn. I don't think I will try quinoa. I can eat rice thankfully. Great information!
Wild rice causes great pain for my digestive system.
Dont eat it then
Listen to your Body
Rice, corn, oats, quinoa, sorghum, in alternative milks, all bother me so bad just like eating gluten does to me. And many more foods dairy, soy, nuts, coffee, night shades.....
Thank you for all of this knowledge, and sharing it with the world. I was unaware of all of this and have been on a traditional GF diet that was not always working. Now I know why!!!
Thanks for the advice about "wild rice" 👍🏼
Thanks doctor osbone. Youre have helper so much of my auuoimmune. Am off of my enbrel. I am one of your avid fans from the philippines
How about Cassava Flour and Potato white flour?
They love bugs , worms, veggies etc
