Dr. Osbourne, does Himilayan Tartary Buckwheat have a gluten protein that mimicks wheat?
I heard it has 132 phytochemicals in it and is high in protein.
My gut instinct says it is a gluten mimicry.

I suffered from horrendous open sores all over my legs, arms and hands. It took months for them to heal and every day more appeared. I went to several doctors over a 20 year period. Was tested for everything and biopsies for cancer. No answers. Went to a dermatologist and she told me to rub Vaseline on them! REALLY???? You have the audacity to bill my health insurance for that kind of advice????? Then she came back with the reason I have the sores is that I take hot showers and my nerves are angry with me!!!!! Her exact words. WTH?!?!?!? I gave up and continued to suffer. Wore long pants and long sleeved shirts to hide the hideous sores even during the hottest weather. Then I found a new doctor and during my first health check he said I have allergies to foods, most likely glutin. He sent me to an allergist and BAM, I was allergic to so many things. Went on a strict elimination diet and the sores went away. Gradually added back one food at a time to discover what to avoid. Took a year to sort it out. No more sores!!! Also, no more stomach pain, no more body and joint pain, no more migraine headaches, no more water retention, etc., etc., etc. I feel better today at 73 than when I was in my 30s. My diet consists of meat, eggs, very little dairy, very few veggies, and very few fruits. I eat no carbs and no sugar. I drink water and very limited coffee. That's all. I feel amazing and have never had more energy or felt better.

How I discovered in late 30s that I was Carbohydrate sensitive, not allergic to Gluten.
When I was a kid (since I was born, a premature baby, my mom said I had problem digesting everything, and cried for hours as if in pain) I always had food allergies. Then around 9 years old I finally realized that I could eat bread but only a small amount (which I would show how big )
Each time I went to the doc, which was almost every few weeks, I would tell the doc, and the doc would look me like I was crazy. I continued to ask the same question to every doc I would see through the years hoping to find an answer.
Whenever I ate a regular western meal (especially at parties) of bread, entree, main dish and dessert, I would often vomit soon after. So, I started to pay attention, and decided to only eat (1) or at the most 2 of the (3), etc. Long story short this is how I discovered I was highly sensitive to the carbohydrates not the gluten ...So, of course once I went ...So, of course, once I went into a very low carb diet, I have been feeling very good ever since

I can honestly say it did make a difference. I don’t have nearly as many headaches as I use to. I had almost daily headaches and now I only need to take headache medication once in a while and I use to also take 2 different allergy medications daily and now I just take Loratadine which I’ve used for a long time for my histamine intolerance.

I simply take 250 mg 15 min. before I eat any meal because dodging histamine in food is just so unpredictable. Ascorbic acid preps work much more effectively than Citric acid preps.

i love this video, its so helpful especially as a new person to the grain free diet. im still unsure about some seed type foods such as peas and beans. im sure this will be covered in another video somewhere but for now im keeping things simple. i seem to be ok with greek yoghurt but not other yoghurts and milk - its hard to know whats going on with my dairy sensitivity. very interesting to hear about some meat having gluten in it aswell as the info regarding dairy processing, A1 and A2... i will have to find out more as i progress and i learn new information every time i watch a video. im not getting mad rashes and no longer have crazy itching fingers. my heart problems seem to be under control whilst on the true gluten free diet. im happy to have a basic diet for 18 months if thats how long it takes to heal the damage to the GI tract. in the long run it should hopefully mean great health which is the best investment one can make for the future. i overdosed on oats for about 12 months, thinking they were "healthy" but i think it caused me chronic and very severe illness. they tell you this and that are healthy but its massively wrong. thank god i found a way out of this. i spent 4 years trying to find what was wrong with me. the doctors haven't got a clue and i could have been helped alot earlier. very grateful for your pioneering knowledge and kind help. i will continue my journey as i heal.

Thank you very much for your video Dr. Osborne. You seem very dedicated, knowledgeable, intelligent and caring. I'm about 23 minutes into the video and have gotten lots of good information already. I'm going to purchase your book "No Grain, No Pain". I've been feeling better since I replaced corn tortillas with cassava flour tortillas (I like the Cabo Chips brand because they use organic cassava flour) and I've also replaced my regular gluten free bread with grain-free Base Culture Original bread. They are expensive but they are nutritionally dense and filling and I'm not crashing over semi-unconscious on the kitchen table after eating(!) I'm so glad that wild rice is allowed, yay! I've been gluten-, dairy-, sugar- and oat- free for years but was still eating corn, quinoa and regular GF bread which I think is why my results were only so-so. I'm feeling more clear-headed and have more energy already.
I convinced my skeptical boyfriend to try going gluten-free five years ago. (He still eats oats, dairy, sugar and corn though.) He has a rare, inherited and disabling form of arthritis plus the more common osteo-arthritis on top of that. Even just doing the standard gluten-free diet his swollen, red and painful elbow which had been that way for like 1-1/2 years went down to normal size and color in just three days. I'm hoping to get him to go further with it and try your protocol.
I've been taking anti-inflammatory supplements also which help me: glycine powder, Healthy Drops Inflama-Relief and Crystal Creek Organics CBD oil isolate. I'm doing much better overall. (I've had CFIDS since 1990.)

I had horrible symptoms of gluten intolerance...but I did not know what it was. I, on my own, took out grains, helped. Then took out all startches. Better. Continued eating whole good plant based vegan for 9 years, eating OMAD 20-22 IF. Last 6 years, despite all normal labs and narcolepsy testing ruling that out, every day while I ate my meal a day I would fall face first in my plate of food ASLEEP WHILE EATING (looking at my fork/ smaking my chin on the table/ruining 3 pairs of prescription glasses in 4 months, once falling over to my left rather then right, woke up with blazing headache because jaw had come out of socket!
Googling insulin resistance/ metabolic syndrome, it pushed into a live feed of a carnivore. I learned lowest inflamatory nuts are only walnuts/pecans /macadamia and learned the only least inflammatory oils is organic evoo/evco/or avacado oils. I was shocked to learn almonds were so inflamatory. Being vegan almond everything and sunflower seeds were big time. Thank and HUMMUS was my kryptonte!!!
So next day after I read about carnivore, I ate 16 ounces at of no where. HOLY CRAPPOLA...proof positive I was only one meal away from healing. Day, 1, 2 & 3 of just eaying pound of organic grass fed beef...I did not fall asleep in my food, but was hit with very sudden overwhelming fatique...J could not have lifted my foot to walk up a step. But 4th day FOOD SLEEPS STOPPED!!! I did not know I triggered an Xenobiotic toxin dumping. There are 7 of environmental toxins which disrupt effect metabolism. This was Obsenegens which make you grown more fat cells then you were born with and it makes them Mega Giagantic...aka FLUFFY as in Gabriel Iglesias, the great funnyman comedian.
By 4th day liver started throbbing, by 5th ALL MY VISERAL FAT wrapping everyone of my organs had shrunk so rappiedly and completely I went from a size 22 to a 2-4 pants....I rendered like a piece of bacon! In less then 6 day, not only did my boobs and big butt fall off my 4'10ish frame, but my shoes/hats/rings were too big. It happened that fast!!! It felt like I woke up in a Lewis Carroll story and I should look for Alice and the rabbit hole. Wilder still, is because these giant fat cells literally went "POOF", it was becaus they were elastic from fat that it felt as if I had unzipped a Sumo wrestler's fat suit costume and just stepped out little me for decades before I became flouritoxic with the bioaccumulative cell toxin--flouride.* Yep feom decades of multiscourced exposures...worst from my avocation in the dental industry, working 9 years before gloves, masks, auto amalgamators, or any known precautions were known to be needed/taken.

Fasting fasting fasting, I was off gluten for an year crp 14 but fasting got me to 4 but on gluten for 4 weeks and crp gone from 4 to 14 in 4 weeks. Back on cimzia. Feel terrible! Kefir on my eyes cured my dry eye. Now I use kefir anywhere is my body. Helps anything even nails. Kefir has good bacteria so skin with bad bacteria it cures. Now I found out that parasethamol has somewhat damaged my liver ( hope I can still save it ). Asthma doc said I should try to eat grains, because otherwise I can't eat it at all after a while, so I have done that. What I have found from these videos is that my anabolic function doesn't work, so that's I can't lose weight that easily. I started gluten free today, but I can't understand what I can eat. How about GMO free foods? I watched the video GENETIC ROULETTE. This is full of stories of people who started eating all organic, even wheat, and their pains stayed away. Too bad sugar isn't like that. Even the lowest sugar organic fruit like strawberries are making me ache I think. But then I haven't weeded out all the chemicals in plastic jars and cans and the air and my clothes and sheets. I drink distilled water IF it is really distilled water. I eat all organic IF these foods are really organic. But the air being full of chemicals is another thing.
Also there is the acidic/alkaline subject. Many people are saying our bodies try to keep us around a pH of 7.4. That is because we consist of atoms which spin as positive/negative poles. Apparently these must stay balanced and what we eat changes this balance in the atoms. Look up what foods are acidic. We are breathing acidic air and taking acidic pills. Even the fluoride in the water is toxic which means acidic. We have to overcome all of these, so I think eating all alkaline foods may be better to keep balanced. Animals and their products are acidic I have heard. Maybe the cows are eating grass that pesticides and chemtrails have covered. Maybe cows hear other cows being slaughtered and this is when they turn acidic. Maybe they drink toxic waters full of chemicals. I have read that eggs are acidic. Maybe the mother hens became stressed out because they have to stay inside all day all crunched up with other chickens. Animals have feelings too, or they wouldn't take care of their young.
People turn their own selves acidic by being stressed out.

It could be the added preservatives like calcium proprionate or 282 which they add to bread.. I found, it caused a huge inflammatory reaction in my my muscles joints and fatigue, vinegar also acts as a bread preservative and that did not affect me. Similarly with milk which has permeate added which is a by product of cheese making and caused me to have an inflammatory reaction. Also the nitrates and nitrites caused a cumulative reaction if I eat bacon for more than 2 days in a row. So additives do affect some people. Various gums cause me problems as well.
High fat lvery low carb moderate protein works best for me. I add blue berries with coconut oil each day to stop small joint pain. Never crave grains or sweets or root vegetables infact all cravings disappear with a keto diet which keeps one full from 6 to 24 hours. I also supplement with high strength liquid fish oil, I take 3 tablespoons together with d3 k2- M7, magnesium salt, pottassium and high strength b vitamins complex with additional b1,2 3 much higher strength and sublingual b12 methyl cobalamin form and iodine and selenium and add other trace minerals from a multivitamin. For anyone with any form of neuropathy I suggest adding R' alpha lipoic acid it got rid of my neuropathy but I do have to keep taking it as it slowly returns if I stop for a while. These all help with inflammatory conditions and heart conditions. Hope some of this info helps. This regime also works in some jab inured people.

This is interesting to me because I have celiac and despite a strict g.f. diet I still get the occasional breakout and I never knew why. It's disheartening because my celiac outbreaks manifest as d.h. and the blisters, rash, etc. can last for three or four months.

Has anyone ever wondered if the weed spray and pesticide spray they use in farming the grains could be the culprit? I ask this as for 1000s of years civilisations have had grains as their staple food source and managed to thrive by living on these

Agreed, for millenia cultures have survived and thrived on these grains, didn't have these intolerances...it must be a combination of the GMO aspect, the sprays, the soil being contaminated. Plus we have about a zillion toxins leeching into our gut systems each second of the day from basically everything! Lol. So our guts aren't "clean" or strong enough to deal with a lot of foods anymore. Toxins from clothing, cleaning products, bedding, various drinks, even bagged tea leeches toxins into your body. And if you have a cup or 2 every day, that adds up. Even our fruits, and veggies have toxins....what DOESN'T have toxins these days? Unless you own land somewhere where they aren't spraying the skies every day, and you can grow your own everything....for the rest of us, it's a war against the "machine".

I'm finding that I have sensitivities to more foods as my disorder progresses. I've learned to avoid foods that mimic gluten, such as oats and potatoes. I'm also finding that they are putting gluten in foods that should be gluten-free, so its always important to read those labels. So many gluten-free items are made with rice/rice starch, etc. I was today years old, to learn that I need to be concerned with rice as well. I'm totally screwed. At this point, the only safe thing to eat is meat and veggies. And with the poisoning of our food, those are questionable, as well. It looks like the only actual safe thing to consume is distilled water.

I cannot digest meat.. Im ready to become a breatharian....down to water and certain fruits and very few veggies at this point. I have to literally drink maple syrup and grape juice to keep enough calories to prevent starving to death....

Rice, corn, oats, quinoa, sorghum, in alternative milks, all bother me so bad just like eating gluten does to me. And many more foods dairy, soy, nuts, coffee, night shades.....

Almonds and other nuts and seeds should at least be soaked or sprouted and be peeled if possible. I can't eat any unsoaked nuts or seeds without autoimmune reactions like joint pain besides candida flare ups.

Hello, I have not found an answer to this question-- If I have to avoid grain fed beef, what about poultry that has been grain fed? What else can I feed my quail and chickens that are not corn, rice, oats or other grains? Can poultry survive on only beans and yogurt (as I've heard some people feed to their chicken)?
