    Max Verstappen is always helpful for young drivers, because - like he said at a few occasions - he is aware that he had a lot of luck in his younger years in Formula 1 "and there are a lot of other young and very talented drivers who never get the chance to land in the right team at the right time"...

    • @glouise9
      @glouise9 2 месяца назад +19

      It's not "luck" that got Max a seat, it's talent. Top teams were already eyeing him when he was in karting and top teams wanted to sign him even when he was still in F3.
      Yes, there are other talented drivers that should be in F1, like other drivers are there because of their money and connections, but Jos was not rich nor he had high connections, him and Max only have old friends from a small team that helped Max in karting and F3. Jos also trained Max to be extremely good because that was their only asset: Max's talent. And he got it.
      Anyone who has a talent like Max, dominating the grid in karting and in an inferior car in F3, showed a unique and generational talent, they will have a seat because other teams would be fighting over them. But that's the thing, Max is a kind of talent that you only see once in a century. Even if Toto, Christian, Helmut, Zak, Fred, etc would search for the "next Max", the "next Max" will probably be born when gen z are all in their 80s or 90s.

      @@glouise9i mean lewis exists so not sure about once in a century talent quite yet lol he's got 3 chips for now .. and if he's so good how come he needed his first title giftwrapped by the fia at abu dhabi ?? Let's just be honest he's had THE best car ever seen in f1 history. Relax on all that generational talent bs until he wins an f1 title without the best car by a mile.

    • @Magere-Kwark
      @Magere-Kwark 2 месяца назад +3

      @glouise9 I'm sorry, Max is obviously very talented but to claim the multi-millionaire ex-F1 driver Jos Verstappen isn't rich or connected in the world of F1 is wild.

    • @Reaz399
      @Reaz399 2 месяца назад +12

      @@Magere-KwarkMate Max had BY FAR the most sucessful karting career of any driver that ever made it to F1 and it isn‘t even remotely close. He absolutely dominated the likes of Leclerc, Russell, Ocon, Gasly etc. for years and he is still the youngest ever karting world champ in the highest class of karting.
      His insane Euro F3 season in a backmarker team which had never even achieved a podium before he joined in 2014 further proved to everyone how special Max was.
      Every top team wanted to sign him, it had nothing to do with his dad.

    • @Magere-Kwark
      @Magere-Kwark 2 месяца назад

      @Reaz399 Like I said, I'm not talking about Max's talents, it's obvious the guy is a beast behind the wheel. We haven't seen a talent like him for years.
      But then again if he was born in a low income family and didn't have a father with experience of the racing world and the financial means to buy, build and modify their own karts with only the best materials his racing career would have looked insanely different, if he even had on to begin with.

    • @glouise9
      @glouise9 2 месяца назад +3

      There is always competition, everyone is chasing you and it's easy to make mistakes. Look at Lewis' dominant years, he had a lot of off days that Bottas had to slow down for him to win races so he can win championships. Both dominant Mercs then are almost a minute ahead of everyone.
      Now, with Max, Max is the only one dominating and most of the time the gap is so small. Plus, Max does not have off days, he's so consistent with his performance.
      If you mean no competition for P1, F1 is always and have always been about engineering and driver's domination.
