I'm a Hispanic American and I'm a Sergio Perez fan first and foremost but I was glad to see an American in Formula 1 since Mario Andretti. It's also a shame that Logan Sargeant hasn't been performing well but one thing I will say is that he's somewhat better than Nicolas Latifi. I mean, that guy has had many, many accidents. About as much as Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin. At least Logan was able to finish races. One highlight from Logan is that he qualified in the points at Spa Francorchamps in the 2023 season.
He gets a bad rap. F1 is brutal and you have to learn really quickly or find another series. Personally I'd love to see him in Indycar but I do hope he can improve in F1.
I think that williams is a shit team, at least at the moment. I understand their struggles, but you cannot really expect great results from someone who has heavier car than his teammate. You cannot want him to outqualify Albon when you actively get in his way. I hope that Logan is not sighned for williams and goes to haas or something. I do want him to stay in f1, but i understand that it is unlikely at this moment.
he needs to train harder and do more sim work and watch more onboard. i watch his onboards and his line choice and shifting points are way behinds albons and the fastest racers. he also needs to ride a road bicycle on the track for 20 miles to understand it.
You probably have no idea what a 'good line' is man. Drivers like Hamilton, Leclerc or Verstappen don't follow the geometric race line yet they're the best.

With his unpredictable results, so stop choking on the track I guess. If he can handle this I think he can get his pace back and adapt to the car more easily. and for Williams, man they need to change the head of engineering team, idk.
@@justinburley8659 I mean he couldn’t even afford to get into F2 without getting help from the Williams junior academy, what makes you think he could pay his way into F1.
Honestly I don't see his junior carreer success. He didn't win any of the higher series and while he did well it was only in the best teams and he got beaten by his teammates.
How do you not see his junior career success man? If the championship battle goes to the final race, then you can't say one driver did a lot better than the other. And in 2021, he wasn't in the best team, yet got great results. In F2, he was just 1 point behind teammate Liam Lawson and it was Liam's second year in F2. I mean, it seems pretty impressive to me.
@@Txm_Dxr_Bxss Piastri is on the F1 grid, and Liam Lawson will soon be as well. The thing is, it's not that simple. As I mentioned in the video, it's very expensive to progress through the classes of Formula racing. Some of the other guys didn't even make it to F2, and some even to F3. They currently race in either Le Mans, DTM, or GT series. It's unfortunate for sure, we'll never know how good they could've been in F1, but that's how this sport currently works, sadly. Logan is certainly lucky to be on the F1 grid, as are the other F1 drivers, as they were able to afford racing in junior categories. Logan was a Williams academy driver, so he got the preference, just like Red Bull, Mercedes, and other teams' pick their academy drivers. Ultimately, the teams decide who they want to put in the seat, and for some teams, that decision is influenced by a lot of factors. I hope that answers your question.
Logan has shown potential to go in F1 but for the moment in F1 he has not delivered what we can wait of him. He has difficulty on qualification as it is said in the video (generally 3-4 tenth of Albon), it is better in race (1 or 2 tenth of Abon's time). I think he will lose his place in F1 at the end of the season. He will joi other talented drivers who didn't make it in F1even after great result in junior category. There are a lot of great drivers in this case (Jan Magnussen, Vandoorne, Zonta, Mick Schumacher etc ....). If you like at the positive side, some great drivers has never had the chance to make 2 years in F1 (Drugovich, Pourchaire, Cassidy, Fenestraz etc...) I wish him to find a place in Indycar, Imsa or Wec.
The alternative of flying home to Miami and living out his days running his father & uncle’s fleet of super yachts for other uber wealthy clients would be a difficult pill to swallow.
He was the guy who caused more financial losses due to accidents in 2023. If he had just finished some races instead of crashing the car, he would have better chances. Everybody knows that Williams is a disaster and that Dorilton Capital is not investing anything on that team. It took them years to buy an ERP software. A serious investor would buy it in the first year.
Yes, but the double standards with Sargeant is still disgusting. Latifi (outside of the joke) was trashed by everyone, who said he didn't deserved his spot on the grid and it was true. However, if we compare stats, he did a much better job against Albon (and even Russell, but Logan didn't faced Russell so i won't take it into account) than Sargeant did. Look at those stats: 2022, Average qualifying gap: Albon -0.390 over Latifi Average race pace gap: ALbon -0.265 over Latifi Qualifying h2h: Albon 19-2 Latifi Race h2h: Albon 14-1 Latifi when both finished, counting sprint races Points: Albon 4-2 Latifi Cost in car damage: latifi 3.3 million 2023 + early 2024, Average Qualifying GAP: Albon -0.560 over Sargeant Average Race Pace GAP: Albon -0.222 over Sargeant Qualifying H2H: Albon 31-0 Sargeant counting Shootout Race H2H: Albon 19-0 Sargeant when both finished, counting sprint race Points: Albon 27-1 Sargeant (scored one point less than Latifi with was was objectively a much better car and he did only thanks to questionable disqualification) Cost in car damage: sargeant 4.3 million But everybody come explain how Sargeant is doing a much better job than Latifi...
Great work with the stats. Thing is, Logan was a rookie last season, that's why I didn't compare him with Latifi. I think this year would be more representative for the evaluation of his performances
A. He was brought into F1 a year too soon, everyone is like “Oh Piastri and Lawson adapted so well …” well yes but also because they had WAAAY more time in F2 and in the simulator with F1 teams B. Logan had a slower car than Alex for the most part of 2023. Yes it was due to his mistakes but that is just rookie mistakes and it doesn’t help that Williams doesn’t have the budget for spare parts as we see this year. C. You’re comparing stats from a 3rd year driver in Latifi in 2022 to a rookie that was brought up prematurely which is just a silly comparison D. Sargeant is not lacking skill as we saw in the junior formulas that he was right up there in race/title battles Piastri, Drugovitch and Lawson, he’s not just a pay driver like Latifi
@@Jimmy__0185 A. Sargeant had years of experience in single seaters, one year in F2 is more than enough if you have the level. B. Well, yes, but so did Latifi (multiple races in 2022 where he didn't had upgrades). Still managed to scored 2 points with the worst car of the grid. C. As i said, Latifi did much better in his rookie season against Russell (who's a better driver than Albon) compared with Logan, i can give you the stats, he was also close from scoring points with what was at the time the slowest car of the grid. D. Logan came because of his nationality. He certainly had a solid pedigree and i gave him the befenift of the doubt, but he's not improving at all. Last race in China his pace was pathetic on the hards.

“WTF IS A KILOMETER”🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅
I'm a Hispanic American and I'm a Sergio Perez fan first and foremost but I was glad to see an American in Formula 1 since Mario Andretti. It's also a shame that Logan Sargeant hasn't been performing well but one thing I will say is that he's somewhat better than Nicolas Latifi. I mean, that guy has had many, many accidents. About as much as Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin. At least Logan was able to finish races. One highlight from Logan is that he qualified in the points at Spa Francorchamps in the 2023 season.
Cheering for Perez and Sargeant, man...that's some real suffering right there.
@@greatBLT I mean Perez is doing pretty good imo, racking up the podiums
Lol, he wrecked more cars in one season than Latifi in his whole career.
Super ypung man wish the best for him❤
i am pretty sure logans dad went no contact with the henry sergeant the 3 uncle?? after some court drama
He gets a bad rap. F1 is brutal and you have to learn really quickly or find another series. Personally I'd love to see him in Indycar but I do hope he can improve in F1.
He will be demoted from Sargent to Private soon
Good one
🦅😭
He will be missed
I bet he's actually good if Williams wasn't a shadow of Mercedes
thx good video
I think that williams is a shit team, at least at the moment. I understand their struggles, but you cannot really expect great results from someone who has heavier car than his teammate. You cannot want him to outqualify Albon when you actively get in his way. I hope that Logan is not sighned for williams and goes to haas or something. I do want him to stay in f1, but i understand that it is unlikely at this moment.
I would also like to add that some of his dnfs (cough miami 2024) werent his fault.
Logan Sargeant, YOU ARE A SPORTSCAR DRIVER
he needs to train harder and do more sim work and watch more onboard. i watch his onboards and his line choice and shifting points are way behinds albons and the fastest racers. he also needs to ride a road bicycle on the track for 20 miles to understand it.
You probably have no idea what a 'good line' is man.
Drivers like Hamilton, Leclerc or Verstappen don't follow the geometric race line yet they're the best.
The future looks grim.
I mean he still has this season to prove that he deserves to be in F1
4:28 I thought his family was full of shipping magnates. Or does their corrupt money only go to oil rich countries and not to their talented younger generation?
The richest one is his uncle, a powerful billionaire who accused his father of using their family corporation to fund Logan’s racing career. So his father is not free to fork too much .
Feels like an Okay driver, imo this guy have the potential to be better than Stroll and his since he still have the motivation to score points.
and the main problem is he kinda forgot he's on F1 car, idk how to explain it, but it reminds me of Grosjean. With his unpredictable results, so stop choking on the track I guess.
If he can handle this I think he can get his pace back and adapt to the car more easily.
and for Williams, man they need to change the head of engineering team, idk.
Logan he’s not good this season feel bad for him😔
Yeah
I know his family is rich but if a guy cant go to f2 because he doesnt have enough money how can he be a pay driver
Good point, even though I haven’t seen anyone call him a paid driver.
@@auroratherob0t Everyone calls him that
@@justinburley8659 I mean he couldn’t even afford to get into F2 without getting help from the Williams junior academy, what makes you think he could pay his way into F1.
@@auroratherob0t I know that he’s not a pay driver, but many others assume that he is. I don’t know why though
@@auroratherob0t
His family is rich AF, don't know who told you that but it was clearly a lie, the dude got big money.
RPM mentioned, bigger win than Schumacher and Hamilton's championships combined
Bruh
Most handsome on the grid
Logan > Leclerc
Carlos Sainz> (looks like a man, contrarily to Logan and Charles who are boyish).
@@f1alpaca it's not bad, but why should he be given the seat in F1 and not his countless team mates and opponents who outscored him?
Dale Coyne Racing in IndyCar awaits hahaha.
Lol
Hes a good driver but F1 is for the best drivers. He is just not that level.
PIEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE GASLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Logan has shown potential to go in F1 but for the moment in F1 he has not delivered what we can wait of him. He has difficulty on qualification as it is said in the video (generally 3-4 tenth of Albon), it is better in race (1 or 2 tenth of Abon's time).
I think he will lose his place in F1 at the end of the season. He will joi other talented drivers who didn't make it in F1even after great result in junior category. There are a lot of great drivers in this case (Jan Magnussen, Vandoorne, Zonta, Mick Schumacher etc ....). If you like at the positive side, some great drivers has never had the chance to make 2 years in F1 (Drugovich, Pourchaire, Cassidy, Fenestraz etc...)
I wish him to find a place in Indycar, Imsa or Wec.
I hope he turns things around this season, but yeah if he fails, there are a lot of other young talented drivers waiting in line.
Jan Magnussen? Thats Kevins father LOL
LoGOAT
did williams destroyed logan sargeant
The alternative of flying home to Miami and living out his days running his father & uncle’s fleet of super yachts for other uber wealthy clients would be a difficult pill to swallow.
He'll be gone in the summer.
Note that Logan came 21st in a 20-car championship. While his partner was in 13th place
Dude wouldn't have even scored any points wasn't for the political BS than wen at the Us GP.
Merica
Lol his family moved to Switzerland for his carting career…yea okay 😂😂
I feel bad for him whenever he eats shit or catches criticism. He would have needed more time in junior classes.
What the 🦅is a trailbrake!?!?!?
Look at those stats:
2022,
Average qualifying gap: Albon -0.390 over Latifi
Average race pace gap: ALbon -0.265 over Latifi
Qualifying h2h: Albon 19-2 Latifi
Race h2h: Albon 14-1 Latifi when both finished, counting sprint races
Points: Albon 4-2 Latifi
Cost in car damage: latifi 3.3 million
2023 + early 2024,
Average Qualifying GAP: Albon -0.560 over Sargeant
Average Race Pace GAP: Albon -0.222 over Sargeant
Qualifying H2H: Albon 31-0 Sargeant counting Shootout
Race H2H: Albon 19-0 Sargeant when both finished, counting sprint race
Points: Albon 27-1 Sargeant (scored one point less than Latifi with was was objectively a much better car and he did only thanks to questionable disqualification)
Cost in car damage: sargeant 4.3 million
But everybody come explain how Sargeant is doing a much better job than Latifi...
Great work with the stats. Thing is, Logan was a rookie last season, that's why I didn't compare him with Latifi. I think this year would be more representative for the evaluation of his performances
A. He was brought into F1 a year too soon, everyone is like “Oh Piastri and Lawson adapted so well …” well yes but also because they had WAAAY more time in F2 and in the simulator with F1 teams
B. Logan had a slower car than Alex for the most part of 2023. Yes it was due to his mistakes but that is just rookie mistakes and it doesn’t help that Williams doesn’t have the budget for spare parts as we see this year.
C. You’re comparing stats from a 3rd year driver in Latifi in 2022 to a rookie that was brought up prematurely which is just a silly comparison
D. Sargeant is not lacking skill as we saw in the junior formulas that he was right up there in race/title battles Piastri, Drugovitch and Lawson, he’s not just a pay driver like Latifi
2022 was Latifi's third year. It would be more accurate to see how he fared against Russell in 2020.
@@Jimmy__0185
@@BomberFletch31
As i've said, he did better.
Latifi was closer to Rusell in 2020 compared with Logan and Alex.
Sergeant is the worst driver for the second season in a row? Well, who would have expected... I wonder how long the Americans will continue to deceive themselves that their drivers are not in the 5th league.
I'm too busy deceiving myself by saying that Ferrari is gonna get their shit together and finally challenge Red Bull
why don't you add a picture of "apple pie" or maybe "George Washington" or maybe "Betsy Ross" sewing the flag. My God people, give the flag nonsense a rest.
Are F1 drivers usually came from a well off upbringing? Basing from their parents and from the clue that they can all speak english
That is usually the case that the F1 drivers come from a well off upbringing, but there have been exceptions.
More like unasked story
Colapinto
A very positive spin on a very mediocre racing driver.
Duuude, he is a terrible driver, in the wrong place at the wrong time, has the race smarts of a small sand castle and never ever capitalizes on his opportunities. Thank god he didn't take up skydiving as a sport. Let's face it, not every "great driver and nice guy" is cut out for F1. Right Latifi?
He was jumped into f1 too early imo
@fu5641 and who's is that?
Easily the worst driver. Only there cause they want to break into the US market. But cmon surely he is not the best the US can offer.
He's an embarrassment to F1 and the Williams legacy.
How
What are you talking about. It’s his rookie season and the cars sucks.
@@Tiktoksforyoutoday2nd season. And his car still sucks. Although Albon seems to pull blood from a stone with his car.
He’s a MAGA money kid. Totally a pay driver. He’s not on the grid for skill.
He's not a pay driver and was brought into the Williams academy because of his f3 performances i the worst car on that grid.
The only story about Sargeant is that mummy and daddy are billionaires.
obviously you didnt watch the video lmao
@@akiara8491
The video is full of sh*t tbh, 2 weights 2 measures.
Latifi did statistically better against both Russell and Albon yet got (rightly) trashed, don't know why Sargeant should avoid such a treatment as himself a pay driver.
He was better than Latifi in the junior for sure, but he still made it to F1 thanks to his nationality.
The only story about Sargeant is that he couldn't go up to F2 with Piastri because he had no money.
@@walover165
Lol, he comes from a rich family and attracts enormous sponsor solely because he's American.
Statistically, Latifi has done better against both Russell and Albon in every areas.
