It would be easy to add a range/oven to this design.
Love all of your homes but its hard to find a price and when I do its to expensive for my budget. The quality is the best I've seen but with my budget being disabled I know that it is just not feasable.
True. I build a wide range... Damselfly being the most expensive. It is just because of all the hand-build parts, windows, cabinetry, etc. I can engineer less expensive builds.. but am also limited by the location I live in, labor is expensive here compared to the mid-west, etc.

An o'furo style soaking tub would fit nicely in the shower space... it is 42" wide.
I saw lending tree using photos of your houses in their ads... That is straight up copyright infringement! Your lawyer should be in contact for at minimum a cease and desist plus compensation for earnings derived by using your intellectual property. I took a screenshot if you need it.

After looking at Zyl's designs, every other tiny house looks like a cookie cutter manufactured home. Unparalleled design, attention to detail, and especially craftsmanship!

Zyl Vardos This is quite possibly the most beautiful house I've seen, tiny or large! As a veteran in a wheelchair, I really appreciate the fact that you made it so accessible. I hope to be able to save enough money for a down payment on a house like this. Since I'm a widow and my youngest has moved out and only comes home from college on school breaks, a tiny house would fit my lifestyle perfectly! Good job, and thanks for the video, I'm impressed!

Incredible tiny homes are custom and half this mans price. Their videos are not as peaceful though .
You get what you pay four and you should read between the lines. Some of the more inexpensive homes are starting to voice complaints. You never have a 90 day guarantee on a home. There have been problems and too much advertising of Airbnb. and rentals I would want to find a live next to one when I was expecting a community.
I love this tiny house and all the great storage ideas you've incorporated inside. However, the most noticeable factor in the video that stood out to me was how nice it was to tour the house with only a simple musical background. Sure, the explanations and verbally guided tours are nice, but after watching so many here on RUclips, it was really refreshing to be able to just WATCH the tour. Thanks for the upload and great work!

And for deaf / hearing impaired. U dont have captions blocking everything....or watch a mouth flap on a face in front of everything u need to see , especially when the idiot stands in front of camera for 5 solid eternal minutes and the mouth moves and. No captions at all

2 really smart items: no drawer hardware and shower curtain instead of door. Doors get yucky with mildew. Curtains can be washed or replaced. Great house!
It's beautiful! I love the details on the cupboards, and the roof is so pretty! I also love that big window! Honestly there's not much I would change here!

i agree its utter perfection. this is my 3rd viewing and i always see myself in it. i see how joyful id feel looking out the kitchen window and how compfy the bed nook would be. love the 3 hole cabinet "openers" ,tired of getting jabbed by lower cabinet hardware in larger houses. of course it would be incredibly beautiful to come home to!
I've seen a lot of Tiny Homes this one is the best one I've seen to my liking. Great Job! Almost Perfect. Love the door & windows and the bed is on the main floor.
I like your style and great craftsmanship. You actually thought of a space to hang up and store clothes. Not many do. Nice.

Wonderful! How have I not seen this in 3 years? I thought I'd seen 'em all on RUclips. My only pet peeve (admittedly OCD) is the refrig. doors open the wrong way! Love the bed, clothes closet (often missing from tinies) the large kitchen pantry, and storage loft. And of course the craftsmanship is superb.
Simply Gorgeous! The only thing I saw I would change in this house is in the kitchen. I would make the bank of drawers next to the refrigerator roll out from under the counter exposing additional counter space, like a rolling island. But that's just because I cook a lot. Otherwise, this design is brilliant! I'm off to look for more from this builder!

The ONLY two things missing are a convection oven/microwave and a washer& dryer. Otherwise this is the most perfect tiny house I've ever seen. Have you ever thought about designing one with the living room in a loft and, as here, the bedroom downstairs? You'd need to use dormers and I don't remember any of your designs having those.
I have several designs with dormers... so yes!

Awesome. I too like the bedroom on first floor. Now if you could just find a spot for a stackable washer and dryer (small set) it would definitely be a plus.

This is my dream tiny house. Literally the only thing i'd change about this design the kitchen sink, from to basins to one giantic one to make washing dishes such as pots, pans, and trays much easier.

The subtle curves on the outside and fashion simplicity inside is outstanding. The Damselfly would blend into nature very easily yet standout enough for people to notice. Although I was a little shocked at the shower. I was expecting something very different. Stone floor with an above head shower. On the other hand, maybe a hot tub ...maybe not. I also like the way you engage with the subscribers. Great job all around Zyl.

I love it !!!!!!!!!!! How about a Murphy bed to create an office space during the day? I agree, shower doors get nasty quick with mildew. It's so much easier to wash or change a curtain.

That is absolutely my favorite design of ALL the many tiny house videos i have ever seen. It´s so spacious, even when you can sleep downstairs. The kitchen feels so open and spacious and there is so much storage. The only thing i would change is the 3 holes in all the cupboards. I would love to live in that house.

Wau, thanks! If I can get away from the workshop long enough to edit video... there will be a bunch more tours, etc. Most often though, I have to be out there building.
A beautiful design filled with high end touches. I missed any consideration about where to eat though. I would also want the underbed storage to have sliding shelves for easier access. The roofline is especially unique and lovely.

Beautiful! A bit expensive, but that's expected for anything that customized or specialized like this. I also would not have the frosted glass door for the bathroom! Privacy!!!

Very nice tiny house (one of the nicest I have seen), what type of trailer frame did you use, are they custom made or do start with a regular trailer frame (weight rating)? What is the weight of the tiny house?
Jon, I have them custom made. The house came in at about 11,750lb.
Everything seems functional. I love the whole presentation.
I love sleeping lofts, but I still think this design is a winner.

Love everything ... more storage than I've seen. Total detailed. Stairs...you didn't show the loft ... is it just wasted space ?
Absolutely perfect!! The only thing I could see being changed is the burners being on the other side of the sink so you could sit at the end of the counter and eat. The detail is amazing! Love it!$

I really like the design of this house and absolutely love the arched window over the kitchen counter. The loft would make a great reading space/guest bedroom. Personally though I'd prefer a single sink with the extra counter space plus a washer dryer in the bottom half cupboard next to the bathroom. Just minor details.
1. The storage stairs are brilliant. They have storage but don't take up a lot of room. 2. Here's a design challenge: I would like to see a reasonable cost model for a family of four.

Would have door open to other side but that is usu. an easy enough fix. Definitely wider than 8-1/2 feet. Like!
For spaciousness in a bathroom, try a triangular corner sink without a vanity. Store cosmetic bags and towels on narrow shelving over the back of a toilet.
I love this one! I'd want a bigger loft upstairs and no bed at all downstairs. Bigger living room. Beautiful.

This is beautiful. I really like the full size sinks, shower and the flushing toilet. What is the best thing in this home are the holes in the cabinet doors instead of drawer pulls. Living in such a small space you're going to bump up against drawer pulls all the time. I invision a floral pattern surrounding a hole with inlaid flower petals. The bed downstairs is great, but I would want to be able to get around the entire bed to make it. It's incredibly hard to make a bed that's pushed up against the wall. If I lived in a home like this I'd get a cat and let the loft be her space.

This is the best house I've seen for storage. The only thing I don't like is the window up in the Loft that opens inside where I would assume that the heads would go in the bed.

I know i am younger than most trying to own a beauty such as the damselfly but then again i see more and more students and 20ish folk getting into this as well, so here I am saving and saving to make this happen...and id want no one else but you to help make my dream house come true! you did a great job on this house. but the only thing I would change is I would put the bed in the loft and make that spot that you have that has the bed in now I would turn it in to a living room. but I love that home

I have considered it. I am usually more concerned with making something feel more like a house. Less like a trailer. And none of my houses weigh enough to necessitate a gooseneck... yet!

Very-very nice. We just built a 988 sq. ft. house in New Hampshire. I especially like the down stairs bedroom and the comfortable sized bath room. Looks like there is room on the end of the kitchen counter to trade out for a 20" propane range. Heat source? If I ever down sized, you would be getting a call ! What state are you located? Thanks for the tour!
Thanks. Yes, a range could fit just fine. This one has an electric convection heater... but I use many different types of heating. I am in Washington!

Done so nicely with lots of storage and a sink in the bathroom. Love it
Love the design! I personally would prefer a straight roof on the loft side, just feel it would be more useful if you choose to use that as storage and stacking boxes. But also thought it would be neat to have skylight there that can open and make some kind of fold down guard rail. Put a small place to set up a chair and you got a perfect place to watch the stars.
One of the most beautiful tiny houses I've seen. Definitely functional for an older person who doesn't want to sleep in a loft bedroom. Wondering how this is heated and if it would be good for winter weather in the northern states.
It has an electric convection heater, and well insulated with low-E glass all around. It would do fine in the Northern US.
Why are their stairs going nowhere? Oh...the stairs do go somewhere. Lol
