I love natural wood, but also think it's important to incorporate or use salvaged wood as much as possible, yet still keep a clean stylish appearance within. Would love to volunteer in your shop if younger and more agile, I'm 66 and can't stand very long due to spinal issues. But love woodworking and quilting just like Jack below. I have been planning to come to WA so I may see you next year and say hello. I subscribed, look forward to your progress and wish you much success in your career. Trust me, you won't have a problem selling your homes. They are gorgeous. As a woman, just keep an open mind when people give you tips and use space wisely and efficiently. Make your sinks larger & maybe more drop-down/hidden tabletops for desk/added kitchen working space and/or eating, even a place to do potting/gardening preparation outside. Love the land you are on. Unfortunately, there is no tiny house village is in the works where I live. It is a sensitive wetland... so my land-mates have agreed to limit how many folks live on the land. Lots of bio-dynamic farming goes on here though!

Hi, Zyl. I absolutely LOVE this new home! I have always been a huge fan of Craftsman style homes. I only two things I don't like about it is the small kitchen sink and that TINY under counter fridge. May I ask how much this beauty is? Keep those videos coming, I really enjoy them!
Beautiful! And a good investment. This could be quite an Air B&B rental as well,. Love the dutch door, stained glass. and cabinetry but that sink is too small and needs to be squared. Washing dishes (and esp pans) in a tiny round sink is a pain.
Totally agree about the sink thing. I've seen many THs with a tiny sink and those modern faucets that come up real high, but are in a rustic TH...doesn't fit in. I have an idea for a rustic faucet, just have to figure out how to get it work, but rustic viewers will love it. The sinks need to be double with cutting board over one that can be removed. Some designers don't think like women...I keep saying they need to get a professional organizer woman to ask how to utilize space and make more usable storage, etc...more tips from women in the kitchen would be helpful and welcome all tips because you never know what someone will think of that I or you didn't.

Not knocking the design but I wish more tiny homes incorporated a main floor bedroom for people thinking of downsizing to a tiny house with the convenience of single floor living as we get older and less able to navigate stairs and ladders?
I build many tiny houses with main floor beds. They can be added to most designs, if there is room in the floorplan. I do ADA compliant tiny houses too!

I would love to take volunteers around the shop... however it is really tricky because of workplace safety rules like OSHA, L&I, etc. The shop is a very busy, noisy, dusty environment.
I work in theater and have worked in many scene shops as well as costume shops. My dad used to teach industrial education. . .I have been around these tools my entire life. But I totally get the OSHA/L&I problems. Thanks for the reply though! We make different stairs and railings on request. Many folks prefer the more compact stairs so there is more floor space below, but again, just depends on the build.

Try a carousel cabinet in the lower corner of a kitchen. It easily fits stackable kitchenware and dry goods. Additional storage may not be needed.

I already said ie..weight ,insulation R value etc ..is it fit for Canadian winters?
The stairs are a little too narrow, may prove a problem going down. Also an outside railing provides a little more security
