Bro it has been 4th time im installing windows on my Mac and you come to my rescue each time I need help in the process, thanks for every effort you put in making these videos please keep doing this
Holy crap, I've been trying to figure this out for a week straight and I'm finally up and running!!! Thank you so very much, I so appreciate this video and your work.
Super helpful, worked perfectly! Helped me get my dad's iMac set up with a Windows 11 VM.
very informative. thank you for taking the time to put this together.
I have got MacBook Pro M3 Pro Chip and i followed every step now i am able to use windows 11 on my mac. Thank you very much KsK Royal. Hats off to your knowledge. I have subscribed to your channel.
Excellent video love it! Was super helpful and flawless. My parallels license expired so I wanted to try this version and it was so easy following your steps. Thank you.
Thanks KSk Royal, your videos are really helpful. I appreciate your effort. Subscribed and liked !
Awesome, thank you!
This worked for me, thanks so much!
Thanks Ksk Royal, very clear and useful instructions!
thank you for your step by step explanation!
고마워요. 덕분에 잘 설치해서 사용하고 있습니다. Thank you for your guid.
Thank you so much! Your tutorial is most excellent!! Keep up the great work!
you are welcome
Very detailed explanation even for newbie’s. Thanks 🙏
Thank you very much
Cannot thank you enough for this glorious video man!
My pleasure!
Perfect, thanks very much
This is a brilliant tutorial. It worked exactly as you instructed, perfectly. I very much appreciated your reply. Will try the MSDOS install this week. I'll reply back with the results. Thank you for being so smart :) ....and helpful!
Waiting for you, 2 weeks passed
@@AlexanderIsDeadwill it go away after 2 weeks? No way to keep it permanently on vmware?
thanks for the instructional vidoe posting Ksk! few things i have noticed that in my install experience was a bit different than yours. 1. the installation process woudn't let me proceed Offline. I do have MS account so I didnot ave any issue with it. 2. the Key combo(Fn+shift+F10) did not open the DOS window, i guess cuz of the Fcn keys layouts, etc. I managed to just type CMD at search and R. click it and 'run as Admin' will do. 3. in order to run Vmware Tools, you can just reach up to 'virtual machine' tab and select 'Run Vmware tools' it would just do it the same, and of restart the Vm.
this ARM version of windows is a must for these Apple Silicon i.e. M1-M3 machines. I could not imports any of my (Intel-based) VMs from my older MBPro. I am still testing the Apps I used to run and so far no issues. oh, I noticed that the 'Sharing' option were taken off on this 13.5.2 version (sharing between the Windows cliend and the host), thanks to the Drag &drop feature that helped a lot.
thank you, it worked
thanks so much bro
Big thanks man
Thank you so much
This dude is a geek. I am a geek but he is a geek of geeks. God bless brotha
Soothing voice . Nice bro
Thank you very much .
Thank You.

Thanks for the wonderful video, I gave up options to launch vritual machines ever since I upgraded to M1.
1 question - How do I share my MacOS's folders in the VMWare to be shared with the virtual machine? The sharing options in the settings are not working even after TPM and encryption removed.
Thanks for a very good guide to install on M2 MacbookAir. I only have one question, perhaps a stupid one. On my virtual Windows machine I have two D-drives both pointed to the same directory. Any suggestion what that can be?
Thank you for the tutorial. Everything went as showed but when I arrived to the last step: reboot the Virtual Machine after installing the VMWare tools, I still do not have internet connection which I need. Anyone had this problem?
Do I have to restart everything? If yes, how do I uninstall the virtual Machine correctly, so there are no residues and I can start again.
Thanks a lotttt!!! ♥♥
You're welcome 😊
How do you shut down the virtual machine? I skipped over changing the processor cores from default to 4. It says I need to resume the machine and then shut it down to make the changes but I don’t know how to actually shut it down?
Thanks for this. Can I use the same process to install Windows 11 Home? I have a Windows 10 Home license key that may work for activation.
Super confused. M3 MBP. I clicked the “macOS/intel” link forgetting I have the M3. The program installed and I opened it, went through the steps to install windows iso I already have downloaded, and it didn’t work. I would always assume if a program won’t work with a computer it just…won’t work! lol. Is there a nuance to this I’m missing or did they add support back and I’m doing something wrong? TIA
thanks very much for this excellent tutorial! I do have a question.
Prior to switching to a new Macbook Pro M3 Apple Silicon, I had a 2012 Macbook Pro (intel) running VMware Fusion Pro and (3) virtual machines, with Windows 7, MSDos 6.11 and Ubuntu. Upon getting my new M3 I was clueless that trying to run my old virtual machines simply would not fly now due to ARM. Following your guide for Windows 11 on Apple Silicon, the silly question is, is there a way to install MSDOS under Windows 11...or is that a no go due to the Apple Silicon limitations? I had sooooooooo many MSDOS games in a custom Dos menu system it is was unbelievable. Am I just S-O-L on ever getting MSDOS to run under VMware again on this new Macbook Pro M3 again? Thanks Ksk!
Give a try. I can say Windows 11 ARM can emulate X86 or X64 based packages.
Thank you Thank you Thank You
Perfect Just looking like a Wow......1 5 Rating Wow
It's much better now. Waiting for bare metal experience of windows 11 on apple silicon.
Thank you very much for this user-friendly video. Without it could not have installed the VMware so quickly. ?? But the VMware-time synchronizes not to the Amsterdam / Brussels time. Can you help me with that issue?
inside windows 11 you can configure the time zone.
its 100 % worked
hello! great tutorial. However, i have a problem... i don't know why but now it is obligatory to connect to wifi in the beginning and it doesn't let me. I try with the options in the seettings (private to my mac, share with my mac, etc) and it just doesn't work. Do you know how to fix it? Thx :(
Can you please clarify what those two commands you run from the command prompt are for and why they are needed?
To install VMWare tools you need to run a command. It's like changing the installation policies of Windows so that VMWare tools can be installed properly and provides an extra features that enables Drag and drop between macOS and windows VM and more.
*Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned*
I’m having a problem where steam won’t open/install (it says it’s installed but I’m not sure that it is), can anyone help??
The Drag and drop, copy paste
Isn't working for me.
Can you please help
I get all the way to windows installation and then it says "PC doesn't meet minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11", and doesn't allow me to go any further. I followed all your instructions. I have a macbook air M2.
hi can you make about efi network i cant remove it when i downloading VMware fusion player i dont know how to bypass it please do video about it
I'm getting "no virtual machine detected", any ideas as to where I went wrong?
Thank you very much for video. Is 8 GB of RAM enough for normal vmware running? I'm planning to buy a basic Mac Mini M2 (8/256) and I'm worried about it
If budget is not a problem get 16GB Ram variant. Don't go with 8GB RAM.
Have you figured out a way to extend to a second monitor within the virtual machine? thank you
I am sorry I could not get a time to test out.
What if you want to install the VM Windows 11 on a External SSD? Just select that as a destination?
No you cannot directly install it on an external SSD> You have to create a windows 11 VM and store the VM file on the Mac then You can copy that VM to the SSD and run windows 11 by deleting the original VM file.
Hi! hope someone can help. I followed all the instructions, and it went well. However, around two hours after, a "Activate Windows - go to settings to activate windows" popup appeared at the bottom-right and I can't remove it. I also tried re-downloading vmware and repeating the steps, but it still happens.
Did you do it with the wifi on? I think he said turn it off.
Thank you ! Can you do a video how to transfert/convert parallels vm to vmware on a mac m1 please !
See this link: docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Fusion/13/com.vmware.fusion.using.doc/GUID-C3462E12-59A0-4E50-BE4B-067A259291CA.html
Yeah i saw that doc but unfortunately does not work on fusion 13.x with apple silicon, sadly no import option available @@kskroyaltech
This windows 11 installation requires 64GB of internal hard disk. Do I need to use Disk Utility in MacBook Air m1 to create a 64 GB partition in my MacBook internal hard drive before installing windows 11 ? OR does the VMware Fusion automatically create such a partition in the internal disk drive of the MacBook? What software would you recommend for making a backup of Windows 11 in case it crashes? Time Machine cannot handle windows backups. Thank you and may God bless you for your great help to others.
Hey You dont need to create any partition using DISK Utility. All you need to keep a free space of 80GB on your Mac computer that's it. VMWare will use the free Space to create a virtual machine file with windows 11 to simulate the bare metal experience.
Is it possible to install emulators like Bluestacks, Noxplayer or WSA (Windows subsystem for Android) in the VMWARE for M1/M2 Silicone chips?
I dont think It will run those.
I’ve been struggling with this for a week. Thank you SO MUCH 😭😭😭😭 one day when I’m rich I’m coming back to this video to donate 🤲🏼 to those who ran into “EFI network time out” problem during the initial setup - just quickly press the right side of your keypad and any button AS SOON as you see “press any key”.
Thank you so much ))..
Can we upscale the resolution as when I switch to mac os the resolution switches to default
Yes you can do that in settings, make sure it matches the macOS screen actual resolution.

Bro BroadComm website is trash. Pathetic experience after VMWare merged with BroadComm.. Download page is worse.
I can see some of you have sucessfully downloaded install packages.
Did anyone end up with similar issues as myself, and how did you eventually solve this?
I’m interested to know Geekbench score. M1 Mac Studio, 4 core, 8 GB ram dedicates to VMware windows 11
I didn run Geekbench but will update the description after testing with my base M1 Mac.

Hey Man, I got to the download part but it wont show me my ISO at the bottom, it keeps saying "Downloading Windows11 esd file from Microsoft." even though the download is done. What can I do to fix this?

Does anybody know if I can run Bizhawk emulator with this setup please?
Follow this GitHub page github.com/TASEmulators/BizHawk and instal it as usual
just a note, you can install directly on a external HD will show Error code 0x80070570. will need to install local first then transfer (copy and paste). make backup of the image first

mine is stuck on Downloading Windows11 esd file from Microsoft. :-( how long it supposed to be ?

Are you trying this on Intel MACBOOK ?. If so you can download the windows 11 AMD64 ISO from Microsoft and create a virtual machine.
@@kskroyaltech no, my laptop is macbook air m1 and i already following all ur step carefully but i catch the error like i mentioned before
You’ll need to acquire the ARM windows11 64bit in order to run on Silicon Apple machine like yours. I learned that too couple days ago. Now I noticed on this video that the system knows to grab that particular version (ARM). Therefore, it’s rather seamless install process.
When setting up Windows 11, I chose to sign with my Microsoft account and everything went great! But then, the command prompt part "Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned" didn't work
Run as Administrator
Is it possible to run the virtual machines off an external SSD?
Yes you can ..Its works bit different.
first you have to create a VM and install the OS and store the VM inside the internal SSD. Once the VM is working properly. You can move that VM file to the external SSD and you can run from it.
I have one question what were the keys to open that command prompt? because this doesn't work for me
HOLD *FN* key (Bottom LEFt ) and press *SHIFT + F10*.
@@kskroyaltech thx
Thank you, can I install it on my Macbook air m1
I think the video says it all right. I used M1 Air for demonstration.
@@kskroyaltechI'm sorry, I didn't notice
No problem man
can we install it on a ssd?
No you cannot directly install it on an external SSD> But once you have created a working VM. You can copy that VM to the SSD and run windows 11 by deleting the original VM file.
I cant sign up, it gives postal code error. Do you know how to fix it?
even me did u figure any solution//
@@Shaghab20 nope.
I follow every instruction but I don't have a internet connection in virtual machine. Do you have any solutions ?
Read my blog post: kskroyal.com/install-windows-11-on-m1-m2-mac-with-vmware/
In that post , Go to the installing windows 11 heading, you will see a information regarding poweshell read that to fix all internet related issues.
would you be able to install steam and then a windows steam game once you finished installing everything?
Yes but expect performance issues since you’re virtualizing it
Why do we need to do the powershell script? What happens when we try to install the VMWare Tools without running the PS script?
Microsoft has this to say about RemoteSigned
*The default execution policy for Windows server computers.
*Scripts can run.
*Requires a digital signature from a trusted publisher on scripts and configuration files that are downloaded from the internet which includes email and instant messaging programs.
*Doesn't require digital signatures on scripts that are written on the local computer and not downloaded from the internet.
*Runs scripts that are downloaded from the internet and not signed, if the scripts are unblocked, such as by using the Unblock-File cmdlet.
*Risks running unsigned scripts from sources other than the internet and signed scripts that could be malicious.
Is the installation of VMWare Tools special in some way for Windows 11, that RemoteSigned has to be run first?
Yes... you dont need to use powershell script anymore. Just reinstall the VMWare drivers
@@kskroyaltech I just created a Win11 on a virtual machine on an M1 Mac. No need for any script to install VMWare Tools.
can this method be used on M3 macbook?

Check your startup disk in vm setting. If you have not installed an operating system yet, you can choose an installation disc or image in cd/dvd setting and restart the vm. Please guide how to resolve it.
Do one thing first shutdown the VM, then head over to VM settings. Choose CD or DVD and make sure windows 11 ISO is imported. If yes, then turn on the VM. Immediately you have to click inside the VM and press the space or enter key to boot windows 11 setup.
