He only performs this energetically when crowds are good. Swansea 2023, and this one are the only two I've been to that have had such a great crowd. He just goes above and beyond for them, bcs they treat them with respect by singing and dancing along, so Alex and the band go above and beyond to show their respect back. 2023 Glasto got such bad feedback from the crowd bcs they were mostly just arrogant new fans who want an AM part 2. AM suffered bad reviews bcs of that show, but the crowd there was shit, no singing along, no cheering. It was awful.

Scott Lancaster they could have removed the crunch a little to maybe further fit the TBH+C mood for the tour? it’s the same way alex turner’s voice is kind of more what you’d hear off of that album than their debut where this came from. bit of a shot in the dark but if you ask me it’s most likely why
