      1.Too much politics in wrestling in India. See latest sushil kumar case. You cant even enter chhatrasal stadium if you dont belong to particular caste. (Check it yourself if you have doubt). They destroyed career of Bajrang yadav and sandeep tomar
      2.Many part of India is undiscovered -maratha, Gorkha, magadhs of Bihar and utkal region of karnataka. Govt need to promote and facilitate them but they do only after medal not before.
      3.Indians also carry a legacy in wrestling in long time match but for limited 6 minute you need speed and accuracy and tactics only.
      4. Many dangal players are better look at jassa patti (panjab) javed gani pathan(maharashtra) and deva thapa. They are undefeated so far.

    In almost all matches in Tokyo Olympics wrestling, the Central Asians or those from former Soviet Republics have dominated the game. They have far superior tactics and are more aggressive in their engagement. It is mainly from here, and in part also Iran, from where main challenge is thrown to India. I think Indians need to engage more with them an further enhance their techniques to outdo them.
    Though, don't forget that Haji Aliyev, who fought Bajrang here, is former three times Gold medalist in World Championship and a bronze medalist in Rio Olympics.

      We need to create a indian wrestling league I m sure people will buy tickets and also it will get sponsers and also govt should fund it. With handsome prize money per win , that could give us experience of other wrestlers

    • @gotohell78

      competition gets tougher , also india reaches semi finals in very lace games, so it feels like we always loose semifinals

    • @divyanarayan2214
      @divyanarayan2214 2 года назад +6

      All about the pressure of big matches.
      I personally believe semi-finals are tougher than finals...because in the finals, you can enjoy yourself knowing fully well it is the last game and there is nothing beyond that. But in semis, you end up thinking about the finals (even before you get there)...that adds to more pressure.
      Plus Indian sports viewers need to be mature as well. Even before someone plays, we think "gold medal"...why??!
