At the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, several Indian athletes won medals:
Mirabai Chanu won a silver medal in weightlifting in the women's 49kg category, securing India's first medal at the Games.

Neeraj Chopra won a historic gold medal in men's javelin throw, becoming the first Indian to win a gold medal in athletics at the Olympics. His gold medal marked a significant achievement for India.

Well, if so much money and public attention was not spent on cricket ( which is not even a global sports), this country of billion plus people would have achieved much more at the Olympic Games. A fraction of money that is wasted on Cricket could have spotted, trained and produced many more Olympic medal winners from different corners of this vast country - there is so much talent there to be unearthed!

Absolute nonsense. Cricket has nothing to with other sports. Football is the most popular sport in most countries. Still they find several other athletes. The key is to introduce modern sports science at higher level at a large scale. This will produce atheletes in every sport.
