Oh yes, moving can be soooo draining! It's easy to think we should only be excited, and that it's something wrong with us when feeling anxious or drained. But it's not wrong to feel like that at all! We put our roots down where we live, and when moving, we have to dig them all up and replant them!
Just like my plants can get stressed from replanting, we can too! But eventually they bounce back, and get stronger than before! I'm sure that will be the outcome for the both of us, as well! 🥰

I know the delay is disappointing but it gives you some extra time to prepare. Every move takes so much energy and time. Enjoy your days now because soon you will be so busy! It's all very exciting and we are looking forward to your next adventure 🙂
The adventure along the river was so magical. What a good omen the dragon fly is. It symbolises good fortune and prosperity and embodies courage, transformation and joy.

Dear Erik, I’ve been seeing so many blue dragonflies, just like the ones in your video. Every time I go to the river, there they are, flying and dancing around me. Some even land on my hand and legs too! They are beautiful and it’s been wonderful to have their presence around me lately. 💙

Just like you, whenever I'm moving somewhere I have the urge to explore the landscape around it, otherwise I can't feel at home. I have to walk around and spot the river, that nice hazeltree, what kind of herbs are growing where... And the mountains not to far is a must. Currently, I live "near" mountains that are not my favorite, but I learned to like them and discovered new hidden and magical places. I wish you to bound with your place, to feel at home and at ease in your heart.
For now, so much is new in your life, and I know you will unravel. Trust yourself and take care 🌱

You are a love. Your new surroundings are stunning, especially that view from the small mountain opening to the hidden valley with water. Your backyard is a lake. Simply beautiful. That's a great idea! I would love to interview him or something! I'll ask and see if he would be okay with that! My guess is that he would be a bit too shy! Swedes in general don't like to be the center of attention! 😅

That's wonderful that you have your family and friends helping you with your garden, chopping wood for winter just in case you continue renting your parents' country house before you move into your new home. Kayaking and canoeing on the lakes nearby looked like an enjoyable, relaxing experience. I've kayaked and canoed many times in my life, both in Austin, Texas and in Seattle, WA, USA. Your new little friends, the blue damselflies, was lovely! Those obstacles did present you, your brother, and father with a challenge, but it only added to your adventure. I look forward to seeing your new house, hopefully in July! Jenny

Yes, it's quite amazing actually! I would still prefer a real camera any day, especially when zooming in on something... But in some regards, the phone is actually better! The stabilization is amazing in my phone, but horrible in my camera!!

From a perspective of an older person (60s) I want to tell you how wonderful it is to see a young person understanding and discovering all the things it has taken me so long to (finally) understand: the overwhelming beauty and peace of nature, the fundamental importance of being Present, Authentic, True to yourself, the sometimes heartbreaking challenges, and loneliness of actually achieving all those things! - before the like-minded and like-hearted soul who is most definitely out there for you finally finds you ❤. I am on the path of buying my own northern Swedish wild place after many many years of longing for it. And from the literal opposite side of the planet... Take care. x

Sorry to hear about you not moving in the house yet. But I was glad to see that the house is so near a lake! You will probably enjoy that more than anything! Don’t worry about not having your usual camera. I think you have done well with your phone for now. It’s better to have some kind of video, than no video at all.
I love seeing the nature around you. It reminds me that there are other places in the world that are so majestic, and I would love to see those places in person. Oh and the birds were a nice addition to the video.
It has been so busy here at my place, that I needed to slow down and enjoy your video, as each video is so relaxing. I do like keeping busy though, to keep doing my art, and to work in my studio.

Daniel, now that you worked that much on your present house and completed the garden, you should enjoy it and start to built up your life on it! The fact that the family doesn't Wann to sell the house, take it as a sign from the universe! Specially, with your New friend Günther, you don't need the expierience of being left because someone doesn't like where you live anymore!❤❤ So, think twice and make a wise decision!❤❤❤
If I knew they could stay if I didn't move there, I would stop my move in a heartbeat! But they still have to leave, no matter if I move in there or not. So me not moving won't solve any of their problems, unfortunately. 😔 But I'm glad there's others out there who feel for them as well! In a better world, we would have a system that prevents this from happening to begin with. ❤️
Oh, and I would have loved to stay here, btw! But my parents will start using it much more, so I can't stay much longer. 😕 But that would have been the absolute best, if I could have just stayed here! I will still be here and plant things even next summer, though!

Dear Daniel, we have been on the other side once: three years ago, we were forced to leave a house we rented. The landlady died and her children sold the house. And when the new owners want to live in there you have no chance to stay 🤷♀️ it was hard, very very hard. I've never, ever in my life had that much stress, and the woman who bought the house couldn't look into my eyes as soon as she found out that we actually didn't want to move out. (Blaming the old owners, they "missed" things in communication).
BUT! We found a wonderful little apartment, next to kindergarten, in walking distance to my parents, with superkind landlords. And since my husband is in home office nearly full-time and his office room is now in the middle of the apartment (instead of upstairs like in the house before), we see each other more often 😊
Our boy loves it, and a friend is moving in next door soon.
And just this year I gave birth to our son here in this apartment, this is how good I feel here ❤

Enjoyed this video, Daniel. Glad that your dad and brother were with you especially on the river trip. It's hard to imagine that it was midnight when you were sitting on that boulder. Is it hard to fall asleep when it's so light out? I know I would have to wear a sleep mask. Maybe be the next video, you will be at your new place.

Love seeing your midnight summer videos! It’s my favorite time of year in Scandinavia too ❤️ Your iPhone videos are actually quite beautiful. If by chance you have an iPhone 15pro, you can plug an SSD card into it and film in Pro Res Log to capture many of the ultra refined details that your camera is able to. But it’s not even necessary, because you still capture the beauty quite well with what you’ve got.
