I used to have a student whose job was to check and make sure everyone had turned in their paper with the name and put them in alphabetical order. There is almost always an early finisher who likes that kind of thing! I loved team teaching in 5th grade. I hope you love this year!

I love the name tag on the back of the chair. Unfortunately, it want work in my room, I do a horse shoe configuration. But I was thinking of the front of the desk. Your room looks great.

Only teachers know how all of those little things take so much time at the beginning of the year. Hope your first couple weeks are going well! Side note- not sure if you already realized but “routine” is spelled wrong on your schedule card. Those cards are super cute though!
