Just switched to this from Magdk, first parse on a 3mil was 42.5k which is higher than I ever hit on magdk lol. Love the easy rotation too. Nice build as always
I'm hitting 71k plus with a sloppy rotation currently minus with non perf rele and a perf maelstrom bow instead of a perf masters. I'm using a modified 2 hander version of this as well and I'm hitting almost the same. Good stuff!
I have a lot of fun with this build but did change it up a bit do to my lack of malstrom weapons and the new kilt mythic, can't wait to see what thay come up with for the new, new cp system
I'm doing the same build but I picked a wood elf (bow+bonus poison arrow)vampire dragon knight I'm picking skills that are toxic types And I'm picking all toxic poison armor pieces and I'm loving it. But know I'm wanting to raise my alchemy skill up for poison making too.
i came to a similar build myself. What about mixing maelstrom flurry with masters twin slashes? +1600dmg from flurry + 1400dmg per tick from twin slashes. And im running bloodrinker + deadly with is 20+33% damage of that skills
Because the video is an hour long and after 4 years of teaching people i really don't need to show people 3 mins of me spamming a 10 second rotation. The dummy makes idiots of people anyway and i would rather use the time to teach people how things actually work so they can perform in content not just compete with their mates with rigged situation numbers. The screenshot is in the video however if you were interested and there is even a time stop for it. Take it or leave it mate tbh ;)
Hey Xynode, have you tried applying this build to a stamden? I was able to pull 75K with this build, minus perfected gear, on stamdk but with same gear, I was able to get 83,8k on my warden. Super easy as well, didn't bother to keep sub assault up to 100% uptime, just did a static rotation. But thanks for the build, really awesome!
I've always been a nord I've followed this build for 3 years lol, n I know it's not the best but is it OK still on this patch cos I know orc n cat are better it's just I like the look of nords more

My apologies, because for me and as a North American French Canadian, I'm used to Eastern USA's accent (imho it's a more "natural" accent to reproduce in regard to throat/tongue/etc movements - and it sounds like it). Hence, when spoken in a fast pace as half the words gets swallowed, it's very hard for me to understand the British gutural accent... Anyways, good stuff, thanks again.
@@daltonaysseh5678 you’ve probably already found this out, but no. You don’t necessarily have to beat The final boss for cloudrest to get the relequen set. It drops randomly so you could get it from any of the 3 mini bosses in cloudrest
Do you have a parse with this build that I can see? Also, do you use relequen even in fights with multiple targets? I've heard that Kinras, Yandir or even Sul-Xan are better with multiple targets. Can you use the new mythic with this setup?
Interesting note about one of these skills, strictly for fun and because I don't have all the gear yet I actually have azure blightreaper and a hodgepodge of other sets, and apparently rapid strikes counts for dot Damage for the build so you tic up five counts every time you do it. I'm not saying this is good LOL Although it could be okay for AOE it kind of ruins the purpose of the build, but big booms are fun XD makes me think it might work on biting Jabs too which could be interesting, although they'll probably change it cuz I don't think it's designed to be that way. Sorry man, I know you don't like me messing with your builds but I'm not trying to do end game content I'm trying to just have fun and it works pretty well for me LOL
everything you need to know is in the video and/or written guide. As for gear, don't was time farming gear to farm gear. Use what you have until you have what you need :)
Used the website after seeing the build did the 160 version and adding on over time what armour would you recommend like is leviathan a valid set for now
I went to the write-up page on this build, I don't see the cp breakdown that you said was there for the different cp levels... Can you please post what your 918 cp's would be?
CP breakdown on the website has changed since this video. It was un-necessary fluff since they changed CPS again a couple of times and it is a lot simpler. Now it is more centered around a clear understanding of , "get these slotables" and "get passives as you go"...
Hopefully someday soon. I'd rather the whip be an alternative to stone giant so the tanks can run it and we can focus on just damage and not keeping up a dot 100 percent of the time
Have a new idea to improve martial based builds, they can add a glyph that causes the main damage of your weapon to become that element type. So if you put the poison glyph on instead of it dealing poison damage once every five seconds it causes your light and heavy attacks to be poison damage based. As an added bonus to the loss of direct damage hit they could say that it's considered direct damage with a 10% chance to apply status effect base on light attacks. It's just unfortunate that they can't take advantage of a multiplicative bonus to light and heavy attack damage like magic builds can

@@Michael-kj1rf That is spoken about in the video. The choice is 100% yours there is no "best" but i explained choices in the passives. AND there is the written guide which you know about because you already noted an error (which btw is now fixed ;) )

@@rylewcrc8279 so basically if it is in group (dungeons mostly since trial the tank will struggle to keep 100% of the enemies debuffed) this build can be changed then? I think the build so far is great (i still have not finished the video), it can have great sustain and has massive dot dmg, so dps against bosses will stack quite a bit.
@@N_0wn Noxious breath is still a powerful aoe dot. I believe he said that each tick of the dot can also apply the poison status effect which will help the dragonknight with sustain. Puncture can only debuff one enemy each time the skill is used, while noxious breath can debuff six. Against multiple enemies it would be more efficient to use noxious breath. If you want to focus more on single target you could switch it out with something else or if you're playing with someone that specializes in aoe and multi target debuff, noxious breath might not be as useful.

Depends on what you define as good. I personally think its still useful but some more experienced players might disagree. I've completed all vet content in the game and all crag hardmodes and I've never really followed the meta to a T. Play the way you want. Nobody is stopping you :)
I honestly think the dmg gap is minimal between mag and stam. Groups tend to bring mag because of the range,shields and the tons of magic damage mitigation mag has. Plus sets like hollowfang are more useful for MAG toons since they only give out health and mag. The sweaty players will most likely use mag only. I for one like diversity and would rather bring in 4 stam and 4 mag dps into a trial.

I'm not a English person so I definitely not understand everything you say in the video but you don't give a alternative to relequen I think you just give the alternative to play relequeen with the aegis set... Maybe I found something in the written guide

Rapid Strikes Math: If you add up all the extra damage from Rapid Strikes, you get 6.2% more _total_ versus straight 5x hits of Bloodthirst.

does it matter which target dummy you use when you test for DPS. I have all of them besides the vet trial boss that isnt the Iron Atro

Why echoing vigor over GDB? The Stam recovery and healing % increase seem more worth it imo compared to a 11.5k heal over 8 seconds.

How come I don't get the set bonus on the masters bow? Does it not count as a 2 handed weapon anymore or am I missing something?
What is some armor that is good for this build (for around level 300) that can last a while?

Vicious serpent of Ophidian have a place in this build? Since Vicious serpent boosts dps vs an already poisoned target?
Maybe use vo instead of rele if you’re doing more solo based content

does noxius breath stack with puncture from one hand shield skill line? in this case im refering to the decrease in both defenses.
Two instances of major breach will not stack. Puncture will also apply minor breach which will stack with major breach.

Since this is stam, just use the cp points and put into the stam sorc, it's what I did...until the stam sorc update come put eventually

This gear setup are kid of AoE with Relequen, and sick of sustain. I prefer somethink like Briarheart or Vicious Ophidian and Yokeda
