Cool guide! One small issue: in the "Alternate Sets" section you have pasted in the stats for Medusa for War Maiden too, and those crit stat values are not up to date.
I've been running this build for the past couple of days and love it. I even use it to solo dungeons and world bosses. The only problem I had with the harder content is running out of magicka and having to use heavy attacks. To fix that, I slotted Radiant Aura and had no further issues.
For ultimate skill, consider the Meteor with the morph that gives back ultimate points per enemy it hits. With a good enough group of enemies, you can cast 2-3 ultimate in a row.
Happy to see Winter's respite get a well-deserved recommendation. Sure, there are better sets, but for the price/farm investment there are almost no cost-benefit equals.
Omg what a great build this is. I've changed from High Elf to Khajit and have started using Winters Respite and my templar is amazing and great to play. So very powerful. Thanks Hack!!
This is just a suggestion, but I solo anomalies in craglorn to test my builds. If it can’t, then I tune it till it can. And every build that does, can do all content on vet or hm. I recently made a stamblade pet build that gets super powered in WW form. If you’d like to see it lmk

Sweeps, inner light, rune, 3 more mage guild abilities for more magicka. Rattlecage set, winters respite set, slimecraw 1 piece, ring of pale order, healing on direct damage cp, increased health recovery for every 10 points of ultimate cp. then just facetank everything with sweeps and stand in your rune. Gg
I think templar just needs an entire rework. 40% of the skills lack viability 80% of the time in pvp. Everything is so brain dead about the class due to the nerfs of the same unviable skills over the last 6 years. Yiu basically have 2 options. Run weapon abilities or build around jabs and MAYBE run the class execute.(as it pertains to pvp)
love the build. But in your written guide you indicated on Red 300 that you can get strategic reserve, but there are some nodes you need to fill up before unlocking that node
According to one of the patch notes they gave slimecraw more crit chance since they are saying minor beserk is a easier buff to get from other places so the extra crit chance is to make up for that
I've been thinking of doing a duo run with a friend of mine where he run a half heal half dps and I run a half tank and half dps. This is is about what he would would wear, we were between winters respite and the set from maw of lorkaj that heals on synergies
I'm nowhere near a complete build yet as I am only level 24 but just jabs and solar barrage and I feel almost invincible already, I have only done one veteran dungeon so far but found it far easier this time than I had previously.

I noticed that you went all light armor, even in the head and shoulder set pieces. Why not do one heavy and one med to take advantage of the armor passives in those respective skill lines, and of the Undaunted passives?
Can you or do you have a video on which order to get skills and passives as you level? Like which guilds to level for skills first?..... I feel overwhelmed on my mage level 26
Sadly it seems nobody does build guides for those on their way to level 50 or while maxing out trees. Really annoying when you're creating a new toon and its like "okay, but... what's the best way to get the tree maxed out to get that final skill?" Its part of why so far, I've only maxed out a templar. They have great skills early on in their trees, namely Sweeps/Jabs, so I was able to make a manageable build focused on those until I could get the later stuff. Meanwhile trying a stamina sorcerer... Most of the skills are at the end of the trees, so I'm stuck fumbling my way through combat and relying on my sorcerer pets to stay alive until I can get my proper skills, and that means either just a Scamp, or spend more skill points (and thus later gold on fixing them or time farming Skyshards for more) on the morph and other pet with morph. Seems most build guides just assume you do whatever you want until you max everything out and get all of the skyshards, then go and look at a proper build.
Doesn’t the sweep skill count as a hybrid of AoE and single target? I tested using a straight damage increase star vs the single target star and saw a ~2k dps increase with jabs only. Just want to make sure i’m not going crazy

I want to like this game but have a hard time with there being no DPS/HPS meter. How do you know when you are doing well relative to other builds with now way to measure?
That would depend on the specific Khajit. You can see this in the game with NPCs, as well as in other fictional worlds with beastfolk. Some like being petted because it feels good, some hate it because its demeaning or degrading, like you're treating them as a lesser being
I'm curious how you get to 65% crit chance with just Mother's Sorrow, inner light, and the monster pieces. I'm wearing Mother's Sorrow (precise weapons and infused jewelry) and Medusa body pieces. Likewise, I slot inner light and puncturing sweep. With all that I'm just reaching 63%.
Light armour passives give bonus crit with more pieces, so light armour monster set and other 5 piece would add onto that. If you want the same set bonuses, you'd have to swap around your Mother's Sorrow and Medusa, make Medusa the jewellery and weapons while Sorrow is your body set. Still get the bonuses, but now with the light armour passives

I would like a build that isn't another templar pls and ty. Perhaps more necros vamps and others such as builds geared towards ww? Cause even though you might need to build around thos it's still fun to do. I just hate seeing "Generic Templar #12024"
I like this build very much since you don't need Ring of the Pale Crutch to make it work. Sick of seeing "God Mode" builds that rely on that ring to even function. They seriously need to nerf it into the ground.
Uh why does it need a nerf? It makes you heal off of a percent of damage dealt to a target with a set heal cap and it prevents other players from healing you. It’s made for solo players in my opinion so I think it’s fine. But I would like to hear what you think about it.
While it may be overused, its actually pretty well balanced. Its just that most builds like that want to be self reliant for healing. They're more for solo players, and solo players kind of need a way of healing themselves. Pale Order gives such an option that is available to every class, every weapon, every armour type, every race, all without sacrificing a ton of damage. Any build can slot it in, replacing the final bonus for one set (usually the monster set, but I guess you could make it a five piece set instead) to instead be able to heal themselves. Group players using it is more a different issue with the game mechanics, not an issue with Pale Order.
@@vanishingworld9172 I don't have a problem with people using it, but keep in mind it is a crutch. The problem I have is all these content creators claiming their builds are "God mode" when it's nothing more than that ring keeping otherwise craptacular builds going in solo content. I'd rather make a strong build that doesn't need the ring than a weak one that does.

I dont understand why using healer's sets for solo build , better pump up damage of the sweeps, that is main heal for solo templars..i think

Mother sorrow body pieces and Medusa jewelry/weapons, keep the duo monster set and jabs will heal you fine against mobs.

The thing you were confused about different values; It's because of Critical Chance (Both) vs Spell Critical (Specific)

You dont need 'half tanks' - focus on damage and healing only, and just use taunt from undaunted if really needed.

7 Light is arguably better for damage this patch due to increased penetration and crit chance. You now get bonuses for all 7 pieces. Used to cap at 5

because you're wearing heavy armor (Medusa) and missing out on the light armor crit bonuses
