I love your show you really made my day when I was young. I appreciate all that you put into your shows. The thing I’m astounded about now is the change in the out back honestly we travelled by bus right through the back of Queens land and up to Darwin and then back down through the middle to Adelaide, me and all 5 children didn’t see anything but dirt, there were no trees no hills of rock no grasses or water anywhere, it was just flat dirt. It’s incredible to see the difference in what vegetation was there, altho Australia changes so dramatically and at a whim
worth watching, there is also a doco researching lasseters life and interviewing his son etc is intresting as shows him in adelaide only 6 months before he discovered the reef, short time in those days for 16/17 yr old with no money or exsperince to get into that country, sounds very likely had only heard about it but not found it,shame as his son has spent his life time looking for it
I've seen it. Found it way back when, was kicking round those parts as a teenager. Can show anyone who's keen, just need some money for supplies though. Few grand should cover it, you can wire it thru and I'll meet ya in Alice with a couple camels. Scouts honour✌ Any takers??
Best about bush tucker it's like a giant supermarket and I read the book of the Australian outback adventures with bush tucker man Les Higgins and maybe one day in the future I might do a bush tucker series of my own and I seen places of bit of Australia
Les Hiddins is just brilliant. Really miss him on TV.
Another brilliant program from Les Hiddins. Interesting and down to earth . Just the job 👍🇬🇧

Sadly out of rocking such beautiful scenery...
Bloody good show old mate you little ripper! Aye!
Ahh, back in the day when these shows were actually real...
I would wager that ol' Lassiter was thoroughly sick of that landscape before he expired.
Such a great series, what do we have now zilch.
Jacking up a landrover while lying underneath it in sand! Jeez Les, not the smartest thing you've ever done.
