does anyone know of the bush tucker man parody where he finds a meat pie with sauce under a tree? i dont know if it was from fast forward or another skit show or maybe i'm thinking it was a segment on hey hey it's saturday...? if anyone knows of this id love to see it again
Yeah "The Comedy Company" did one, (and I seem to recall it was Peter Rowsthorne as well) and Hale and Pace did, too. It was on their special, "Hale and Pace Down Under" where Norman played a character called Barry the Bushman who was a send up of the Bush Tucker Man. Barry was finding things like "the edible leaves of the bacon bush" (real bacon rashers) and how they went really well with "the edible roots of the sausage tree" (real string of sausages) amongst other things! I think Barry found meat pies somewhere as well.
I was pretty young at the time beat I can remember is. . Broken down car side of road, start roadside campfire with long jumper cables... car catches on fire. If there's a RUclips clip, Vimeo etc let me know!!!
