Magda had Doreen down to a T. Mannerisms and voice and all. But I don't like how they played Bea at all, the character was wrong and Val wasn't fat. Jane did pretty good with Lizzie aswell All over though it was pretty funny, and well done
As a Prisoner fan and from what I can see, parts of the set don’t look the same, so it must be a mixture of old parts of the set and new replacements for the set. 😃
Bless you for uploading; when australian comedy was at its peak. It’s all PC and unfunny now. Need I mention dad’s google history it’s bloody dad’s google history
Well I don't "go" with anything. And it was in uppercase to emphasize what you thought was the word "porn". And I still doubt you're a real Australian.
"Leave me alone, you big fat bitch!" Haha! The impersonation of Doreen is spot on.
More like Colette Mann playing Collette Mann. 😅
Gina Riley has a great singing voice & is a very talented comedian.
she does. i hate how she sings the kath and kim theme song.. her daughter is now doing "Muriel's wedding, the musical."
@@lisettecallis5329 Aww I like it. It's her Shirley Bassey style.
Rest in Peace Lizzy
She passed a few years back.
as for Val (Bee Smith, Top Dog) She's still alive, i spoke to her a few years back.
Cool story, bro.

Thanks, Although it would appear that youtube has actually deleted the story i had posted............ Weird
I worked at channel O /10 in 1978 much fun behind the scenes 1:30
That was too funny and the actresses portrayal of Lizzie, Bea, Doreen, and The Freak were definitely spot on 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!!
Fast forward was a bloody brilliant show
"Aww Bea I'm the only one ugly enough to make you look good"😂🤣
Jane Turner was actually in Prisoner!
That's right - she played a blind prisoner.
Belinda Johns
MiddyOil And Glenn Robbins (Kel Knight) appeared in Prisoner as well in the same era as Jane Turner, but their characters didn't cross paths sadly. 😃
Belinda, I think she played the role very well.
Yeah I remember that, she played a blind woman
Jane Turner played a blind character in the real Prisoner
“Will you shut your fat arse! Am starving!!”
Hilarious
Turner, Riley and Magda need a cameo on new Wentworth
Jane would have been a good Helen Smart
And Magda would have pulled of Myra Desmond with flying colours
The bloopers must have been friggin hilarious!
This gets me Everytime🤣😂. The actors got the characters right on point!👌
Lizzie and Doreen yes but Bea was way off.
What amazing memories l just loved it so much really miss it THAT is pure comedy.
Jane's portrayal of Lizzie Birdsworth is spot on!
Jane Turner was in Prisoner as the blind inmate who tried to kill Sonia. Peter Moon was in an episode as well
Magda's Doreen is uncanny!
I love it when they're all been thrown into the lockers by the freak, haven't laughed so hard in years.
Years later, Magda would do an advertising campaign for Jenny Craig.
Red Oz She quit Jenny Craig because she missed real food too much
Love the posh actress-y accents!! Especially accurate for Val Lehman! 😉
Sheila Florance was very posh in real life.
@@brettrainbow6040 she was indeed!
Jane, Gina and Magda really carried this show.
Turner was the blind woman in cell block h
Gina Riley has a fabulous voice
What a shame Fast Forward isn’t still around to do their version of Wentworth 🏢
Farrrrrk!
Even after all these years I got a laugh !!
this is excellent very rare now thank you
They're wearing the real uniforms!
Magda really sounds like Doreen and Jane Turner sounds very similar to Lizzie.
These were some of the funniest skits on FF.
Jane Turner makes a good Lizzie
Top notch impersonation.
Lol she does!
Moony and Veitch are legends and the ladies
Magda had Doreen down to a T. Mannerisms and voice and all. But I don't like how they played Bea at all, the character was wrong and Val wasn't fat.
Jane did pretty good with Lizzie aswell
All over though it was pretty funny, and well done
She was playing her like Val Lehman - and it was pretty accurrate
Not in the least like her.
She wasn't fat, a bully, butch, unnesecarily violent, hateful or mean to her friends
@@angelika_munkastrap4634 I was talking about her "grandness"
Comedy dying .. can’t do this now .. loved 70’s - 99
Better quality acting than the original
Isn't Gina's breastless character REVOLTING 🤣🤣🤣
The sets are very authentic!
@Stanly Qbrick fab!
As a Prisoner fan and from what I can see, parts of the set don’t look the same, so it must be a mixture of old parts of the set and new replacements for the set. 😃
@stanlyqbrick1621 I doubt it. The sets were dismantled in 1986.
Brilliant
Omg, brilliant 😂
This was hilarious.
Bless you for uploading; when australian comedy was at its peak. It’s all PC and unfunny now. Need I mention dad’s google history it’s bloody dad’s google history
Ironically Magda is leading the pc charge !
Just Love Lizzie ! Better than the real one LoL
Jane Turner brilliant talk about bad hair day
2.02 “sold us off to a private company ” which company? 😭
“shave your legs with a brick” 😂 whos drinking brussel sprout roots? Pink or yellow?
My father never liked Prisoner. I have watched it recently and I can understand why. It was so dark.
1:32.🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious 😂
Hilarious
Wouldn't get away with that today
Trying to follow people that you actors get something..
Why do they have pom accents at the start
its part of the sketch, that in real life the actors are posh compared to their roles in prisoner..thats why they had the accent
POM, not porn. Pom is Australian vernacular for a British person.
Well actually no, its spelled Pom. It isn't a formal word and you're clearly not Australian.
Well I don't "go" with anything. And it was in uppercase to emphasize what you thought was the word "porn". And I still doubt you're a real Australian.
They have British accents at the start because Britain is the birthplace of the pom industry.
LOL 🤣🤣🤣
Magda sounds just like Boomer on Wentworth 🤣
No she sounds like Doreen, the character she's playing.
Boomer is nothing like Doreen. Besides Boomer is based off Alice (Lurch) Jenkins from Prisoner
h chair is lower case and the top of chair leans forward to the right and the seat of the chair is a square
Not as funny as I hoped it would be, from the talents of Turner/Riley/Szubanski, but still a good parody
Yeah I don't get a lot of the references.
OH SHIT...FROM AMERICA, WITH LOVE..SO SPOT ON..USA NETWORK, 1982...SO FECKING FUNNY
To think I used to watch this rubbish and enjoy it how times have changed
