would love to see Ray do one more trip with Les and film it. Les is getting older now, and man it would be nice to see him on TV one more time.

After spending a day with Les filming and interviewing him, I really 'get' what Ray is saying. Les is an outstanding professional, when it comes to working to a camera.

That's exactly where everyone in the Bushcraft and survival world should be.
In a mindset that is totally devout to the free flowing of ideas.
    Most excellent, 2 real gentlemen.

Hello there Ray, an idea, yourself and Les together with bare minimum gear trekking across some part of the world for a week, living purely off the land, pointing out survival food and generally having a good time, now that would make a good programme 👌🏻, atb, Paul.

No matter how experienced I am I would never class myself as an expert! Bushcraft a life of knowledge that has an endless amount of learning, as much as we know there is always more to learn. Ray a in my eyes an amazing bush crafter with a world of knowledge and I respect him a lot. Oxygen is vital for our survival, just as
Sharing is vital for the survival of knowledge

These 2 (in the link below) train the military in each of their respecting countries. They're the real deal. Les Hiddins is hands down the most knowledgeable survivalist when concerning Australia. He's learnt from the Aborigines all over Australia to a point where he'd be the teacher of an Aboriginal guy in a different territory to where he grew up. He's also ex military and he trains the military and the Australian SAS in survival and bushcraft. Ray Mears is an English survivalist and has also tought the British military including the British SAS. He's also very knowledgeable about survival around the world. Desserts, rainforests, mountains... you name it he's been there. He's actually trained native people of africa and the amazon how to light a fire from scratch usung flint or wood through friction who have lost the knowledge by becoming too reliant on lighters/matches that they get through traders. Les Stroud has my admiration considering he's not a liflong survivalist or has any military background. He's also given some bad advice. He doesn't come close to these two guys. Bear Grylls is a real life bad ass who is a special forces vet (SAS). But I wouldn't watch his show for anything more than entertainment.
Here's a link to Ray Mears and Les Hiddins 'the bush tucker man' who joined up for 1 show (in the link). I also like their anthropological approach to their craft. Check out their own shows "Ray Mears world of survival" and Les's "Bush Tucker Man" in the video Ray also meets Syd Kyle-Little. An Australian bush patrolman who also learned from aborigines and went into the bush completely naked, well naked other than a bush thong to protect his dick from mosquitoes. He was a patrolman back when they'd chain up aboriginals like slaves. Syd refused to do that and preferred to gain their respect by respecting them. He's about 75 yrs old in this video but he's still alive today at 101 yrs old. He also wrote 2 books and 1 in 2015. What a real life bad ass.
In fact I'll link the show starting with Syd. You can always rewind the vid back to the beginning afterwards.
