    Love how u keep it real wit the 5v5 info, coaches lied to me all my life that just defense alone will get me scholarships. I realized my senior year that I needed to turn up my scoring but it was too late. Now I’m on the juco grind. No regrets, just work

      @@hooppolitics Hello my name is jayden Simpson . I was watching some
      of ya vids and they became very helpful with my
      process. I'm 20 and I believe I still have years 6 years of
      eligibility left to play. I haven't played basketball under
      the whistle since 2017. Everything after that year was
      intramurals. I'm so motivated to play again. I don't really
      care about going D2 or D3. I just know that I want to play
      for the right school and a school that WANTS me and
      believes in me. Any advice about walking on at a
      school?

      Yes you can. It happens all the time. The road is just a lot more difficult. You have to make it to the national tournament and really be killing. • @hooppolitics
      @hooppolitics  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for reaching out my man. You can def get a 4 year averaging a double double. It’s all about who you do it for and at what position and height. How tall are you??

      That’s good size. Just make sure you’re playing on the perimeter and not in the paint. Check out my first “Juco tips 2020” video. It talks about how important it is to have true size at your true position to increase the chances of being recruited by 4 years. ✊🏾

    So I’m in my 3rd year out of high school, and I want to try to walk on a juco. I had got accept to a school in a different division level but I didn’t get accepted into the school. Is it to late to try to walk on to a juco and if not what can I do at this point.

    • @hooppolitics
      @hooppolitics  2 года назад

      It’s not too late to walk on at a Juco. I would tell you to start emailing and reaching out to juco’s and asking the coaches about walk on positions. Look into Juco showcases around the country and go play in some. A lot of those get players recruited to Jucos as well as 4 year schools depending on which one you play at. Are you currently enrolled in school? I appreciate you reaching out by the way. Subscribe if you haven’t already. 🙏🏾✊🏾💯

      @@lilshaan6252 from learning from all my mistakes. one thing I did was pay attention to what the coach said he was looking for, and did exactly that while bringing in something else he’d like, ex; defense. Learning all the plays is the hard part, because the coach expects you to get it right the first time, so I’d suggest you go to him personally and ask for all the plays to study. Also try to get in the gym as MUCH as possible, while keeping your GPA above a 3.0
