A lot of theses guys are no secret they just glance over talent in North Carolina. It seemed like it took forever for people to realize how good my brother (Robert Dillingham) was. He played the same way at all the big tournaments with team United since he was 7. I went to a juco called cypress college in 2021 so if u look up the roster but my name (Michael smith I’m from Baltimore Maryland east coast), my name its not the roster because I got kicked off the team mid-season for dealing wit family and transportation issues (mind u I got forced to get vaccinated) I had to miss a few(3) games I only played 7 total. SO Mid season we went Monterey for a tournament. I asked the coach is there a reason for only getting 4 mins per game and it was only 3 game’s total that weekend and a that I only have a small leash he said “I didn’t fit his system “ but I stated “I’m scoring and producing and had a great game before the tournament against Long Beach City College” . But my teammates won’t stick up for me lol the coach never spoke to me but spoke to everyone else unless I make a mistake multiple games not even put in. But I can fit in any system from my film that I have on Instagram and Twitter but dude never gave me a opportunity to showcase my game I’m not from California 6’5 hooper from Baltimore Maryland the coach don’t want my story out there and I have connections outside of college that can help me to the next level but I need a good school to transfer to in the fall 23 …. Just been bulking 💪🏾

Great video! Question, my son is in junior high school and tried out for a basketball team. He is pretty good, passes well, and shoots pretty good too. He said he did pretty good during try outs but on the 3rd day he was cut. Lot of students were shocked that he was cut and it was talk of school for a week. But yet there were several students who couldn't even dribble right made the team. It is very confusing what happened. He is very good kid too and because he was in a football team he knows how to respect a coach.

Which is better a bad coach for 2 seasons or not playing basketball for 2 seasons?

My coach is very dismissive when I expressed how other players were being distracting, over bubbly and chatty during demonstration and game which drains my love and energy for basketball, I get that it's done for it to be fun but there is time and place to be bubbly and chatty but during demonstration and practice I wanna be focused so that I can be a better player. He basically told me to "get over it" and told me he won't give me special treatment (of which I never asked for, I just wanted to be heard), we were draining each other so I left the team and played basketball by myself for fitness and leisure.

I’m seriously considering trying to become a high school coach when I get out of college. I wanna be the coach that puts players in the best position possible to develop and eventually succeed at higher levels. I don’t wanna be the coach that put a guy at center just cuz he 6’5 (that was what happened to me), and throw off their development. Good vid bro 💯
