This reminds me of something. When searching program files etc, is a good idea under Properties to set everything in Compatibility to Windows 8? As there are no higher/newer options?
So far I have done this with no apparent issues. Someday this may haunt me. Any tips etc? Thanks again👍

Omg thank you so much you fixed it ! Only thing that didn't fix it the discord app refusing to open , not sure how to go about that one , maybe try redownloading it , it has been like that for a good while now

i followed every step & it’s still not working. it’s only 3 applications that don’t pull up. like on my taskbar it’s up & running & i can see it minimized on the taskbar but it won’t pull up. my steam, Explore, setting would absolutely not pull up

@@Qtiqs I did the same too but it got worse the task bar is being weird you can only see the file explorer and it takes so long to open and just closes it self also the settings and I couldn't see the wifi option It also won't let me open other programs as the home screen is just my wallpaper and the windows key thing won't open :/

Check to see if your left mouse click and right mouse click sides have been reversed as the primary setting. If they have, go into devices->mouse and set the primary back to he left click side. This happened to me today for some odd reason. I thought I had a severe hack virus! But that was all it was. I have now set to left and scanned with McAfee, Malware Bytes, and SoFi Scan and SoFi RootKit tool. All is clean! I think the cause was something I did in Multiplicity between two computers. Reversing the primary setting on the mouse looks just like a terrible virus behavior from back in the day! All menu clicks are working fine now to open a program. I hope this post helps someone in the future.
