Rescue beam on Kelvin is so strong. Doing drive by pulls to get your low HP teammates out of situations that they would otherwise 100% die in is so good. I've even been building it on my more DPS-focused builds.
I wanted to note that you shouldn't sell healing rite anymore since its now a component of health nova. And I didn't really play with rescue beam when I made this, but it's actually really good and it should be one of your flex slots. I'm not gonna keep updating the video every time there's an update, but for right now I think that this would be super confusing to future players.
Kevin can win his lane 1v1, I don't agree with the being a bitch lane phase. I def support and do no damage after lane, but lane phase you can get some good pressure if you use your beam aggresively
ive made a whole persona around calling him kevin, also shouldve brought up how you can basically be fully behind cover and shoot the ice beam around it somehow
Tried the top community builds of kelvin, even the DPS builds are doo doo. I always play with friends so quickly found myself grabbing 3 debuff items (slow hex, stun, silence) and the aoe burst heal. I disagree with the upgrading dome late idea, it’s really good to punish their carry, who tends to over extend. I usually play with a bebop, and he attempts to hook their carry (or anyone), when he does, I just pop dome and we punch the carry to death. Also mystic punch is really good for damage, especially when your mma fighting the enemy in your dome. Also getting dome in lane tends to make the enemy suuper passive, because when they get punched to death by an 8ft robot in a cage fight, they tend to stay the fuck away from lane, even had some poor bastards leave after doming them multiple times in the first 10 mins. Duration extender on dome is huge
I guess that's just my bias, I usually play solo, so coordinating with another teammate is harder and I don't do it. I agree that if you have a duo, dome is really good because you can get a 2v1 every time. I do remember one game I was in a duo lane with a bebop and it was honestly unfair for the other team. You just wait for them to grab someone and just put a dome over them and they can't do anything.
It's just on deadlocktracker.gg just click the tab at the top that says heroes. I think its getting shut down or something by Valve, but for right now it works (until the next balance patch makes it inaccurate.)
The beauty of this game comes with every character having evil builds. Great tutorial!
You should try using rescue beam. It's very easy to save teammates by pulling them from bad fights + good healing source

As an actual human named Kelvin. Hearing people call him Kevin makes me disappointed in the human race on so many levels.
Even some of the ingame characters call him Kevin
Lol yeah it's REALLY not difficult to see the "l" and pronounce it.

Good ole Kevin.

That is why i buy all 3 anti heal itens, just out of spite.
Great video though
support kelvin without rescuebeam? rescuebeam is absurdly strong
Kelvin orange is so good. You can beam while reloading to setup easy headshot on next magazine.
Please make more war crime build i mean good builds
You don't need a ton of items to make beam good you can absolutely murder people with this build especially early game.

his name is KeLvin. Kelvin is unit used to measure cold temperatures
1 Kelvin = -457.87 fahrenheit
he says in the first sentence "Kelvin, or as I call him Kevin"
We understand, you did not
Seems like we know where the L went
If 1 Kelvin = 457 degrees Fahrenheit, wouldn't it make more sense to say that Kelvins are used to measure extremely hot temperatures?
