Hey can u make a video or explain exactly what part of the old ek engine wire harness that has the injector plugs etc and plugs into the oem computer box do u keep , or do u completely remove it and replace it with aftermarket harness but then how to connect it up to the fusebox and still have dash n other things still function.... And if im running an aftermarket engine management system will i have to run the oem compbox with the aftermarket compbox together so that 1 does the dash and cluster gauges and the other does the injectors etc????❤❤❤❤ pls help me 🎉🎉
A little off topic. I’m running the same tucked harness and got confused which side is TDC and CPS? What about RVSL? Is this the reverse lockout connection on the 6 speeds? Also, did you have any issues with this harness? Hope to have mine running soon. Thanks for posting this video!!
Hey yea rvsl is for 6speed only and no biggie if you accidently switch cps and tdc but dont switch tps and map sensor you can fry the map sensor and also if you have a k24 repin the crank sensor
Question, I’ve used this method for charge harness on my 98 ek it’s k24a swapped and the second I connect the battery, the battery arcs and the starter spins I already checked all my grounds, I disconnected the engine harness to the starter to confirm it wasn’t the harness.. I tested the starter and it’s 100%. I removed the starter from the engine and tried and it didn’t spin. It only spins when connected to engine. What could it be? Any advice?
@@Nuggeto. only thing thatll spin the engine is the solenoid wire going to the starter so u have that wire going to the battery instead of it going to the fuse box
@i ended up finding it, it was the battery wire going to the starter touching the wire between the solenoid and the motor for the starter it ended up turning and rubbing on it when I tightened the nut down

RVSL is reverse lights
REV is Reverse Lockout
