The translation is "ready to wear", but the cultural context is "made to wear". I'm glad Portal Games kept the original fashion theme and didn't re-theme it to the video game industry afterwards.
Love the theme, it’s not new but new in comparison since the theme hasn’t got much love. A theme that’s slowly creeping into the spot light for the last 3 years. So many themes that don’t get enough love. My daughter would love this game. Cool video.
Almost a grail reprint for me. Excited it has improvements. "Porter" sounds more like port-a (as in "way"). I always thought the translation was "ready to wear", but "made to wear" sounds good too.
www.dictionary.com/browse/pret-a-porter This is not the french way of pronuncing it but it's better than "praitaporteur". XP Also, it means "ready to wear" as written on the board, not "made to wear". But never mind me, you're welcome. ;)
Looks gorgeous, but seems awful expensive at 77$ shipped. I think it’s a wait and see from me. Art is brilliant though and gameplay looks interesting almost Vital Lacerda or Le Havre like in weight.

Excited for this game. I backed the kickstarter.

Are they fixing the colors? The card you reference requires a yellow and blue thread yet the outfit is red and black seems looe an odd design choice

So there is only one type of money? Those stars you earned become brand money from the second edition and you cannot use them to buy resources.

No kidding with the price... 77 bucks for US audience is a goofy price for this type of game. But you know people pay that price regardless!!!
Go light in the bronzer dude
*cringe* 'pret a porter' is french. the er is accented to 'eh' or é
